Great location and very well maintained. We would stay at this Cottage again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is one of the best vacation rentals I have ever rented! The house was well-maintained and very well stocked. From extra blankets to plenty of dishes, pots and pans, extra towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, etc. All of the furnishings were comfortable (beds, couches, table and chairs, etc) and the outdoor furniture was also plentiful and comfortable. The location of this house is an A+! Right off Duval Street but very quiet and tucked away. The pool was small but plenty for us to dip in when we got hot. I would suggest asking the pool temp to be lowered during hot months as it was very warm. We didn’t realize we could ask for that. Overall, this was a really great rental. We would recommend it highly!

We loved the back/side yard with the pool, the lounge chairs and the cabana. It was heavenly. The pool adjusted temperature so it was cooler in the day and warm at night. It was just superb. This cottage had a nice little kitchen, if you wanted to cook, washer/dryer if you need to do laundry and a dining and living room area. There was a king bed (super comfy), a queen bed (comfy), a room with 2 singles (not comfy) and a room with another single (didn’t use). Plenty of bathrooms. There were numerous towels in every bathroom ready for us to use and beach towels for the pool. So thoughtful. The team was incredibly communicative at this property. Would DEFINITELY stay here again.

We are often visitors to Key West and this was a great cottage for many reasons. The location is fantastic is being located right off of Duval, but is still exceptionally quiet. You haven't been to KW, this cottage is on the more quiet end of Duval (close to the Southernmost end). There were five of us staying in the cottage and it was incredibly comfortable for a group that size. 6 would be great as well. The small bedroom off the kitchen is bijou, but adorable. Probably best for anyone who is an early riser (or a heavy sleeper) as it opens onto the kitchen.The combined living room and dining area are well appointed and comfortable. The decor overall in the entire cottage is tasteful, adorable and "beachy" without being over the top.My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom and the bed was SO comfortable. If you like plush and soft beds, you'll love this one. I find rentals sometimes skimp on beds and was pleasantly surprised to find a mattress that I really liked! Kudos to the owners. We were traveling with my mom and my husband's mom as well as one of my best friends. They all reported their beds were a tad hard but overall okay.The outside area has a wonderful cabana where we spent most mornings with coffee and evenings after dinner chatting. The pool was perfect and appreciated having four lounge chairs.The parking area and walk up to the deck of the cottage is gravel. Just something to be aware of with suitcases and if you have anyone older and more unsure on their feet.The Historic Key West Vacation Rentals property management team were excellent! We had an issue with the wifi and they were incredibly attentive and quick to respond. It didn't get resolved while we were there, but no fault of the management company or the owner.Would highly recommend this cottage and we'll definitely keep it on o

Lovely house in terrific location just off Duval St. Clean, quiet, loved having the “dipping pool” and outdoor poolside seating. Great communication and helpful info from management company, HKWR. We would definitely return.

We had a great stay here. The location is within walking distance to a lot on and off Duval or a quick Uber to other parts of Old Town. I really have nothing negative to say, staff was super friendly, they were able to store our bags for us coming and going. Great experience, I highly recommend.

The house was perfectly located to walk to everything we needed. Didn't even bother to rent a car for our stay. We were in the Keys for a 40th birthday celebration. We had 8 people with us and we felt very comfortable and spread out at the house. The pool and outside area is small, but great for spending outside as a group. You are less then 1 building down from Duval and a few short blocks from the Butterfly Conservatory and Southernmost Point. The management company was incredibly informative and helpful before and during our stay. I would love to stay at another property that they manage in the future. The only cons that I had at the location is the use of physical keys (I prefer a key pad) and the very low pressure in the downstairs shower.

Our family loved staying at this home, steps from Duval St. The home was immaculate when we arrived. Ana and Susan were super responsive to all questions and offered lots of information. Loved the pool and cabana area, we were in it every day as it was very hot. Great location, great home and pool, great hosts! Highly recommend.

We had a great time staying in the Chick A Pea cottage. The pool/patio area was the best part! Couldn’t have asked for a better rental right in the heart of Key West.

Our family loved our stay at this cottage. It is beautiful, comfy, and perfectly clean. It’s within walking distance of so many sights, shops and restaurants…although we found it was hard to ever leave because our kids wanted to stay and enjoy the house and pool! Couldn’t have loved it more. Made our first visit to the Keys so much fun to have this lovely cottage as our home base!

We rented Chick-A-Pea cottage for our son's destination wedding. The location was fantastic, the check in process was first class and the cottage itself was amazing. All 7 of us adults raved over the great amenities, especially the pool and cabana. Wonderful wedding in Key West made more special by staying here and the hosts of Historic Key West Vacation Rentals were the best. Thanks Cindy and especially Susan for the amazing experience. Look forward to another trip to Key West.

Very quiet despite closeness to main road, which offered numerous restaurants within walking distance.

It was glorious to be so close to all our favorite spots in Key West, walking distance to most everything, yet this home was surprisingly quiet, just a block off Duval. The home is laid out perfectly for a family. Super smooth and easy check in and check out - communication with manager was prompt and thorough. The only complaints: Master bed was way to soft for 40-50yr old backs, we woke up in pain every morning :(. For the money we spent on renting this adorable home, a proper kitchen sponge (rather than a 50cent one from dollar store), and some kind of welcoming gift basket with coffee and snacks would have thrown this rental over the top for us.

Everything we needed!

The property was a perfect amount of space for our group of 4 women. The location was perfect, we felt safe and could walk everywhere. Absolutely wonderful trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Had a wonderful week in Key West with the family. This rental is literally only a few steps from Duval street. House and pool were vey nice. Both were clean and as advertised. Property managers did a great job staying in contact with us. Only thing I would change is the check in (check out) process. It would be nice to have someone meet you at property and leave the keys at departure at the property. Other than that, we had a great time.

A bit on the small side but it was clean, had two and a half baths and the outdoor patio and small pool was a bonus. Short walk to Southernmost point and the north shoreline as well. Bike, mopeds and cart rental right around the corner. When we had questions or needs, people were responsive immediately and follow it up with us to make sure things were okay. The location off of Duval street brought nightlife right to us but with fans provided in the house, when we were ready for bed, we didn't hear much of what was going on outside the house. The only negative we experienced was roosters in the morning and a finding people laying on the sidewalk a few times in the morning --- both were harmless and we found and heard about all over near Duval street and key west.Things to ask and/or bring: there were no dish towels or dish wash cloths. There were two fans provided. Need to bring two more if you want to have one for each room.
