We spent a long weekend at this property and thought that it was great. Hammondsport is a good central location so it is easy to get to other parts of the Finger Lakes. The town has a lot of history and is very nice. This house is right downtown so we walked to very nice places to eat, either across the street or a block away. The house is well-equipped with the essentials. My wife cooked breakfast each day, sometimes eating on the front porch, then we headed off for the days activities and came back to Hammondsport for dinner. The property is just the bedroom, small kitchen, and bathroom but it had all we needed for the time that we were there. It is an older house, divided, so the woodwork is very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Very charming property in the heart of Hammondsport.

The apartment was very clean and smelled fresh. The kitchen was well equipped for a short stay and included coffee but no tea. Good thing that a grocery store and a carry out are both within easy walking distance! The bed was comfortable and there is a front porch where we sat each night to read and people watch. Only 3 tiny complaints- there was no soap for the shower, the shower water temp went from cold to absolutely scalding with almost no turn of the handle, and the entryway to the house smelled heavily of smoke.
Those were minor complaints, and I would definitely recommend this home!

Quaint century home right on the edge of town. Very clean with good amenities. Great location if you intend to visit wineries. This was our second visit to the house and we’ll definitely return.

The stay was excellent and served the purpose. Our first time to Hammondsport… efficiency in spite of rainy weather and road construction hampered but did not detour from a great weekend/concert/wine tasting and shopping, and dining.

This house is beautiful and it takes you back in time. We loved sitting on the porch with our cocktails/coffee and the neighboring tenants were very welcoming. Even if our apartment was a little small, it worked for us. You cannot ask for a great and central location. Walking distance to wonderful restaurants, just up the road for the Glenn H. Curtis Museum and drivable distance to wonderful wineries.

We have been staying in or above Hammondsport for several years when visiting for a Wine Tasting Vacation, and love staying here at this VRBO. Second time staying here. Perfect setting, short walk to restaurants and the lake. Great covered front porch for relaxing and eating. Perfect apartment unit for 2 with all of the amenities you need for a few day stay with small kitchen and dining space. Resident tenants are very friendly. Unit is very quaint and clean. Definitely, we will book unit again.

This is such a great apartment in the heart of downtown Hammondsport. First floor, easy entry and just steps from restaurants, shops and lakefront near the main town plaza. Off-street parking is an added bonus. The apartment has what you need for a great getaway on Keuka Lake. Highly recommended!

A beautiful little studio apartment in a lovely Victorian house right in downtown Hammondsport! You could walk right out the door and enjoy the quaint shops & antique stores and restaurants just steps away. Or relax on the lovely front porch with your dinner and a game of scrabble like we did one night. The lake is a 5 minute walk away and enjoy numerous vineyards that are only10 -15 minutes away!

We love the quaint little town of Hammondsport and have stayed in several places there. This one is reasonably priced with a bonus of charm and location. Coffee on the porch and a short walk to the shops, restaurants and lake. Great spot for a quick getaway!

Great location in town; walking distance to restaurants and shops. A very clean apartment in an historic Victorian home. Loved the private porch for meals and relaxing. We enjoyed canoeing and swimming in the lake only a few blocks from our apartment. We stayed 5 days and this small quaint town had plenty to offer. We were saving the Glenn Curtiss museum for a rainy day but had none so went on way out of town. We highly recommend it. Bully Hill Vineyard was the best we visited.

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay in Hammondsport. The location is ideal to get to the restaurants, stores and waterfront. The apartment was small but it had everything we needed and we especially appreciated the porch. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! The place was clean, well-appointed and an excellent location. We had a bit of trouble getting the info to enter the apartment. We were expecting a follow-up email that never came. Contacted VRBO and they helped us figure it out and all ended well. Property well maintained and will come back!

Lovely 2 night stay in tiny Hammondsport. Victorian home, well equipped Apt #4 on first floor. Very comfortable bed and chairs. Met 2 tenants living upstairs-charming people! Great restaurant across the street. Wineries and distilleries nearby. Happy that the Curtiss Museum was open on Sunday-a "don't miss" opportunity, be sure to watch the one hour video!

Beautiful location in the heart of a small town with easy access to shops, restaurants and Keuka Lake. Very clean, convenient and appreciated the little extras, brochures of the area, host book for ideas, the coffee, comfy bed and a beautiful porch sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Only suggestions, some additional hangers for closet and maybe replace the chairs with a couple of recliners to sit and watch a bit of TV before bed after visiting the wineries ;)

This cozy apartment was a convenient location for our three-day getaway in the stunning Finger Lakes region. The one quibble is that designated parking is not on site; however, we were able to park on the street in front of our door.

Perfect location. The place had everything we needed. Great restaurants, close to the lake, lovely shops, awesome porch to have morning coffee, lunch. Lots of great wineries within minutes.

Accommodations are on the first floor of the older Victorian home. Our stay was in a renovated foyer turned bedroom with a cute kitchen attached and adjoining bathroom. Very much part of downtown made it easy to walk out the door across the road to a nice restaurant or just two blocks down another restaurant or two. Our stay included window shopping sailing on the lake and a quick trip to Watkins Glen to enjoy their state park. I’d recommend Hammondsport to anyone, it’s a sleepy small-town charmer. Everything is described within the accommodations, fully out fitted kitchen that we used to prepare breakfasts and dinners.
