Ce condo côté marina offre un excellent accès aux vues de tous les allées et venues d'un port de travail authentique. Nous accueillons des gens de partout, des pêcheurs de homard locaux à des yachts de luxe très haut de gamme. Les vues sont spectaculaires et incluent les observations occasionnelles de pygargue à tête blanche ou de faucon pèlerin.
Nous proposons des appareils de cuisine de grande taille et un joli coin salon et un barbecue à gaz pour les soirées à l'extérieur. Il y a deux chambres, le maître a un lit king size avec une salle de bain attenante. La chambre d'amis sur le thème nautique a un lit double avec la salle de bain dans le couloir. Les deux salles de bains sont équipées de douches à l'italienne double, des accessoires de salle de bains adaptatifs sont disponibles. Et un canapé pliant au cas où vous auriez besoin de plus d'espace. Ces unités adorables sont à distance de marche de tous les magasins de la région et des fabuleux restaurants ici à SWH. Nous sommes au cœur du parc national d'Acadia. Les caractéristiques du parc telles que Bass Harbor Head Light et le lac Echo ne sont qu'à quelques minutes. Faites une randonnée jusqu'à Beech Cliffs ou St. Sauveur pour une vue panoramique sur l'île. Passez une soirée à explorer Bar Harbor et toutes ses boutiques et à faire du bruit. Assurez-vous d'essayer une excursion d'observation des baleines ou de faire une croisière au coucher du soleil sur un sloop de l'amitié dès votre porte!

The condo was adorable and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was not too far of a drive visiting different areas in Acadia National Park. We loved walking through the marina and seeing all the boats. Check in was very easy. Will definitely come back.

The Stern unit was a perfect home base for my husband and a friend from Idaho . . . we loved staying away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, as we explored both sides of MDI on ebikes. Having a bike rack on our vehicle made it easy to carry the bikes to an Acadia carriage road trailhead, but to explore the SW Harbor area, we just needed to jump on the bikes. Thanks for the hospitality, Christie!

"Stern" condo offered everything we needed for our stay in MDI. The main living space was very spacious, well furnished and comfortable. Kitchen had lots of spices and pantry staples beyond the usual salt/pepper/coffee/tea more commonly provided. 2 big bathrooms were cut above too. The unit is on the ground floor, next to the marina driveway (lightly travelled but some very early morning, but windows & walls kept out most noise. (We slept fine.) We enjoyed sitting at the patio table out front of the unit - deck above provided welcome shade and cooling during hot July weather. Views straight out are of parking lot, but lovely water views from the patio to both sides. Great place to come back to after mountain hikes and exploring! Or to sit out with breakfast coffee and watch the mist rise over the harbor.

The property was great. It was clean and spacious for 4 adults. The area is so nice and quiet and has easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Loved watching the boats go in and out each day. The view was incredible at sunrise. Would highly recommend this place for adults only not anything for children to do.

The quirky location of this condo really appealed to us when we booked, and it didn't disappoint when we saw it in person. Not only is the marina location interesting, but being on the "quiet side" of the park was very pleasant. We had been a little worried that being on a working marina might have been noisy, but we didn't have any trouble at all with noise during our stay.
The only thing that would make this condo even better would be blackout curtains in the bedrooms. There are security lights right outside the bedroom windows that light up the room as though it's dusk all night long. We appreciate the security of having the lights there, especially on the ground floor, but it would have been nice to have been able to make the room a little darker.
Other than that, this is a lovely, well-appointed place in a great location. Should we find ourselves in the area in the future, we'd definitely try to stay here again.

What an incredible time in SWH. The Stern condominium was all that was promised. Beautifully appointed and equipped and crystal clean. Christie was a fantastic host and the location was perfect for exploring The national park or grabbing a bite in Bar Harbor. SWH had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We will be back!

It's at a marina so there is much to see with the boats, yachts and fishermen coming in and out. Good view of part of the harbor from the condo. Wonderful place to have meals. Place was open and room, plus it was very clean

You are on the ground floor with a great outdoor table/space; you can see the water and boats on two sides, the parking lot straight ahead. Things start early on a marina; you'll hear and see activity, so if you want total isolation this isn't for you. We loved it-- the ocean air, the boats, the easy walk to town. The apartment was perfect for us and Christie is very responsive and so easy to work with!

The Marina Building
We enjoyed this very unique location right on the Marina, on this huge deck. I used my stand-up paddle board right there, which for me was awsome (while the rest of the family could continue sleeping). Very well equipped, clean and owner was very responsive to our needs. Will come back.

beautiful views, convenient location
The unit was much bigger than we had expected and Christie has done a great job of keeping it clean and homey. Very close to good restaurants. Lots of hiking less than 1/2 hour away. Loved it!

Perfect for us
My husband uses a walker and sometimes needs a wheelchair which makes vacation travel challenging. Christie was so accommodating, the Stern unit was sparking clean, spacious enough to maneuver a wheelchair, and additional adaptive devices provided by Christie made our stay wonderful. The close to town location was fun as well. We hope to return and stay longer next time.

Great place and location
The condo was great. It was beautiful to start and end your day on the docks. We love Southwest Harbor because you don't have all the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but still has great restaurants and shops. People are very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Perfect Location For Us!
The condo is even better than advertised! It was roomy & cozy with everything we needed either provided, or close by. Christie was very courteous, responsive and had great recommendations. We enjoyed a boat tour right from the marina and visited different areas of Acadia in our rental car. We enjoyed lobster at local lobster pounds almost every day! The walk to town was easy and the bar/restaurant at the top of the hill was an interesting place to hang out each evening--tourists, locals & boat owners/workers all swapping stories. The only recommendation we have would be to add curtains in the bedrooms. There are lights on all night over the walkway outside the windows and it gets light really early. As for noise from the fishermen, etc. we didn't notice it at all. We would definitely return to Southwest Harbor & stay here again!

Nice apartment, great location
We loved staying at the Cannery. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The host, Christie was nice and easy to reach. Southwest Harbor was a better choice than Bar Harbor which has become too crowded for us.

Nice, clean space
My only issue was that the pictures present as the property has a direct view of marina which is not the case. The unit opens in a large marina parking with view of a huge 'gas tank' right in front of the windows of the 'stern' unit.
I was not particular disturbed by this being an active marina and noise but yes was not enthused by having to come out or sit out directly in a busy parking lot. One of the pictures shows a view of the marina is actually taken from the water facing end of large parking lot and not representing what you see from the unit itself.
Rest everything was very good, a very clean, well stocked and spacious unit, not too far from all the major activities. Christie was very nice about all the queries and nice to meet her in person too.

Great location
We stayed in the Stern cabin and it was very comfortable. It's a working Marina, so it was a tad loud in the mornings with trucks coming in, but they tell you that up front so we were prepared. The little town within walking distance was also great.

Nice and clean place.
It was really pleasure to stay in condo over marina.Place was nice and clean.Short distance to walk to stores and restaurants .Only problems what we had no access to internet network,passwords didn't work.Also was very noisy in morning -since it is active marina big trunks were coming early in morning to work.

The Romano's 2017 summer vacation Acadia national park
Newly renovated and clean, close to restaurant, walking distance to local shops, my family enjoys it, also dog friendly, love the floors, with full size kitchen and full size refrigerator, only missing is a dishwasher.
