Big Water View- Lake Martin-Sunset Station!
En date du 6/12/19-Nous venons de peindre la plupart des pièces, de mettre un nouveau tapis moelleux dans les chambres, 2 nouveaux téléviseurs dans les chambres et de construire un patio en pierre. Prendre plaisir!
Sunset Station est située à la pointe de Sunset Cove, Lake Martin, AL. Nous sommes à 30 miles de l'Université d'Auburn. Le soleil se couchera et se lèvera sur le quai qui est à 30 pieds du porche arrière. Le porche arrière a une grande vue sur le lac et est la longueur de la maison. Hamac sur le porche arrière est agréable pour lire et profiter des sons du lac Martin. Vous verrez des voiliers, des bateaux pontons, des barques, des bateaux à skis et un avion ponton sur le lac. En raison de la réglementation du lac, vous ne devriez voir aucun bateau de plus de 28 pieds, ce qui minimise le sillage et calme l'eau. La faune est incroyable: vous verrez des huards, des canards, des poissons sautant, des cerfs, des oies et bien plus encore. Nous avons un pygargue à tête blanche sur le lac que je vois souvent. Ici, sur le lac, vous pouvez voir un serpent, un scorpion non venimeux, des tortues et des coyotes; vous ne pouvez pas battre les observations de la faune. Vous aurez accès au canoë. Le café du matin ne sera jamais le même, pour toujours des souvenirs de votre séjour à Sunset Station en raison de la grande vue sur l'eau et de la proximité de l'eau. Il y a de nombreux restaurants sur le lac avec de la musique live. Facile à attraper du poisson sur le quai.
Maison entièrement meublée avec literie, serviettes et autres éléments essentiels nécessaires. Téléviseur 55 pouces avec câble complet, Wi-Fi haut débit, grill, hamac, grande terrasse, beaucoup de sièges à l'extérieur, quai et beaucoup de paix et de tranquillité. Toutes les rues locales sont pavées, relativement peu pavées et idéales pour courir ou marcher. House est à trois kilomètres de la rampe de mise à l'eau publique, de nombreux restaurants, dont le club de rodéo du lac Martin et le célèbre Col Toms du lac Martin.

Great experience. Owner laid out everything perfectly and answered any questions promptly. House is on a great lot. Sits up high enough for incredible view but still easy to access dock. Would definitely stay again

The house was clean and well maintained and has a stunningly huge back porch with the most beautiful view! There is everything you need for cooking. Gas grill all the utensils, crockpot, keurig, regular coffee maker. There was even a hair chair so my youngest child. Highly recommend!

From the great location to being well-stocked, this was perfect for our family!! Our boys were able to have friends visit with lots of indoor and outdoor room for socializing! The rockers on the back porch were great for watching the guys do tricks/wake surf in the big water!!

We loved our stay at this home. The location is wonderful, lots of nature around. Used provided canoe and Kajaks and were able as a family of 7 explore a small island close to the home together. Kids loved the floating platform and the Lilipad. Hiking at Smith Tower was fun, loved Niffers Restaurant close by. Caught lots of fish. Firepit at sunset was amazing. Fast responses from owner. Overall a great stay.

The views at Sunset Station did not let us down. The views at sunrise and sunset were truly spectacular. We spent an amazing weekend at Ward’s property on Lake Martin. From the get go communication was excellent. Like any trip we had a few minor issues come up but the owner communicated promptly and fixed all issues fast and properly. Beautiful view from porch. Close to The Ridge marina and Chimney Rock. Niffer's was just a quick boat ride away. It's not on Pleasure point but was quite a pleasure to stay! We are already planning a second visit there.

The property is fantastic, couldn't have been happier. Huge master with shower and soaker jet tub. Well stocked kitchen with both a coffee maker and a Keurig. The room with 2 sets of bunk beds would be great for kids. The views are amazing and the dock has plenty of room to enjoy the view. The back porch is huge with plenty of seating and a dinner table.

Christmas Get Away
The property is conveniently located, and well equipped. Depending on the time of year, there may not be water at the dock. This was the case during our Christmas visit, but was not a problem. The home is spacious, and the sunsets from the back porch are SPECTACULAR! We will definitely be back if visiting Lake Martin.

Lake Martin getaway
We enjoyed our stay the Lakeview is beautiful. We had one beautiful sunset while there. We caught a few fish off the dock. Very relaxing fall getaway. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking it appears although we ate at most the restaurants. We will definitely be back. Ward the owner responded quickly to all my questions! Only recommendation would be more comfortable chairs for the back porch. One of the rockers is broke but still usable.

Perfect location for boating
We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location for boating and very quiet. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch. Very relaxing. Be careful of the bottom step leading into the water. It is slippery and does not have a warning. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful week on Lake Martin!
We had a wonderful stay and hope to rent again! The house is very roomy and comfortable. The long front porch was awesome. The deck is roomy and very fun for the kids! The sandy areas around the steps was wonderful. The view, the peaceful neighborhood! Close to many things. We come to this area with other family a lot and it's one of the best sloughs! Highly recommend this house!

Big water view small cove feel
Sunset station is a great rental, location on the lake is great, located mid lake close to Marinas and restaurants. Dock and slip are in great shape with docking for a couple boats, big water views facing west but somewhat in a cove with low traffic. House was very clean, everything worked as it should. Communication with owner was fantastic. canoe and kayaks available for use. Ample parking even for boat trailer. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Sunset Station! The location is beautiful with lots of lake activity to watch from the back porch, including an airplane landing on the lake! The owners were extremely easy to work with, and any questions were always answered promptly. The house is very well equipped and has lots of room for everyone to spread out. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing views
Not going to beat this property. Walked in and it was very clean, property is easy to get to and in the best area on the lake in my opinion. Owner is quick to respond if needed. I would not hesitate for a second to stay here again. Can’t wait to plan my next trip already.
