Faites une courte promenade (moins de 5 minutes) pour profiter de pupus au Don the Beachcomber ou de délicieux repas chez Huggos. Quelques minutes plus loin à pied et vous pouvez visiter les nombreux magasins de Kailua, prendre un café local ou un bol d'açai, ou faire des emplettes au marché local pour des fruits frais, des fleurs, de l'artisanat, ou à peu près tout ce que vous pouvez imaginer!

This is my third time staying at Kona Reef, first time in this unit. The condo is well-appointed, organized and has the most amazing view of the pool and ocean. I'd be putting groceries away and have to marvel at the sight of rolling waves. The village-like Kona Town is close by with lots of shopping and restaurants. Beaches and activities are within close proximity. The vibe is always a good one with people easy to talk to around the pool/Jacuzzi.

We love this unit and the fact that is perfectly situated in the complex and C-13 is meticulously maintained and equipped with everything one could want. Thanks for have all of the basic kitchen supplies on hand and all of the ocean fun equipment available on the lanai. This is our 3 trip, will be back.

Everything about this unit was 5 star. From the welcome basket, robes, high quality furnishings and appliances, tasteful decor, location to pool, ocean parking garage and garbage, air conditioning in living AND bedroom. The hide a bed was very comfortable.
All bath products provided plus blow dryer and straightener. There was an iron and a steamer which came in clutch got bridesmaids and wedding dress.
The property maintenance is also 5 star. Just like a high end resort, the lawn chairs are put back into their places, the entire pool area is hosed down each morning, the bbq area including the grills are cleaned, the pool bath room is cleaned throughout the day, the landscaping around the pool is meticulously manicured. The owner, Steve is nice and so responsive. (Of course he’s an Oregonian)
I come to Kona annually and this is by far the nicest stay (since 2010). I will definitely return!!

What an amazingly beautiful condo. Great views, beautifully furnished and beautifully decorated. Fantastic owners. Perfectly located for all activities in the surrounding areas. If I was grade this beautiful rental on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it a 100+. Highly recommend this beautiful rental. Thank you to the wonderful owners.

Our family couldn’t have had a better experience at this condo in Kona Reef. The view from the lanai is incredible for watching waves or looking over the pool. The staff on site were very friendly and hardworking in keeping the property in beautiful shape. There are shared BBQ grills that work very well and made for some wonderful at home meals. The condo had wonderful AC that allowed us to escape the humidity when we needed a break. The appliances were wonderful and the space felt well kept. We will be looking at rebooking in the future if it’s still available.

This property delivered as expected. Beautiful location, excellent amenities, everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing getaway.
All utensils for a well stocked kitchen were there. We grilled steaks one night and found that Steve and Amber had a thermometer for checking temps, which I found very surprising. We only had to purchase groceries.
The location is perfect to wake up to each day. The pool is always clean and waiting for travelers to enjoy. Kailua-Kona is easy and safe walking distance to shops and restaurants, even at night. Several days we had cruise ships docked off the coast when we woke up, which was a nice touch.
One downside (not the property owners fault of course) is that there is no swimmable beach within walking distance. The beaches around the property and the general vicinity, are covered in lava rock, so you need water shoes to access the water.
Overall, this was the nicest VRBO property we’ve stayed in, and would not hesitate to rebook if we travel to again to Kona.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 9-day stay at this condominium couldn’t have asked for more from the experience!
The owners have tastefully and thoughtfully furnished the unit, making it the best of the many VRBO rentals we’ve had! It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed (generous supply of paper products, coffee for a couple mornings, shampoo/conditioner, beach towels, etc.) — and more (beautiful robes, a welcome basket of goodies…). They have thought of and supplied everything one might need during a stay (batteries, cleaning supplies, flashlights, extra lightbulbs…) and have them stored neatly so that they are readily available, without the unit feeling cluttered. Kitchen appliances were aplenty and of excellent quality, as were all the furnishings.
The view from the condo is beautiful, looking directly across the pool area to the ocean. Although not quite as private as the oceanfront unit we rented on a previous stay at this complex, we actually enjoyed this view more. It was more interesting/fun and sunset viewings were perfect! Access to the lovely pool area was also quick and easy.
The property location (among other things!) is what brings us back to the complex. We love being able to leave the car in the handy covered garage and walk into town for meals/activities; it is also easy to get to other areas of the island from there.
We would highly recommend Steve and Amber’s condo and thank them for making it such a welcoming, wonderful vacation get-away spot!

We really enjoyed our stay, Kona Reef is the perfect walkable location. This condo has great ocean view and the pool. We would stay again for sure. He gave us a couple hours of late checkout due to our flight time and we really appreciated it.

Okay, selfishly I dont want to write a glowing review as it's hard enough trying to reserve this unit, but it's absolutely my wife and I's favorite property at this complex. The owners have decorated it very cute and classy, not cheesy with Hawiian nicknacks you often see. The unit has a ton of things for cooking and nice quality dishware and pans. Huge plus is ductless AC unit not only in the common space but also in the bedroom as well which is really nice. Pool/beach towels, snorkling gear, boogie boards, coolers, etc all provided. The unit also faces directly at the ocean so you can (as we do) spend hours watching waves crash against the shore. And probably 75% of the year, you dont even have to leave your lanai to watch the sunsets. The owners have done an incredible job with their unit and are consistently doing some upgrades to always make it better each time we come. The complex is half a mile or less to shopping and restaurants and just a mile into the main heart of Kona; so close we just walk everywhere! The owners are also very easy to connect with and responsive. Just a fabulous unit to make your stay in Hawaii as relaxing and fun as possible.

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 weeks in this beautiful condo.
It is very well maintained and we felt like we were home. We would be very happy to return again in the future.
It is also very well stocked with everything you could need. Steve and Amber have thought of everything!
We did need to reach out to the owners a couple of times and they were always quick to respond and very easy to deal with.

We had an amazing time at Steve and Amber's getaway! The view was spectacular, the amenities were fantastic! Steve and Amber thought of everything that you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation. They are great hosts who really care about their guests and are great communicators who respond quickly. Nothing negative to say except that the stay was too short!!

While this complex is widely known for its stunning location and convenient access to Kona, this condo does a fantastic job of making sure the little things were all there for our stay. The owners were always very responsive and pride of ownership was evident from the moment we arrived. Its location within the complex was great. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Great spot with easy access to restaurants and sights. The condo is immaculate and has probably the best-equipped kitchen we’ve ever encountered! The pool, jacuzzi, and bbq area are very well maintained, and the view is spectacular. The owners were very responsive and helpful, you’ll have everything you need and more!

The space was exactly as described. We arrived just in time to see the sunset from our lanai. We absolutely loved everything about this unit and the location was perfect. Close walking distance to restaurants, shopping and beach. The added amenities were great, especially the snorkeling gear and cooler, which were in excellent condition. Everything you could need was provided. We even grilled fresh fish one day on the grills near the pool. One thing we really appreciated were all the great tips for food and destinations in the binder in the room. The condo was very quiet and stocked with all the comforts of home. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Perfection!
My family of four stayed here for 8 nights and had an incredible time! The condo was very comfortable and in an excellent location. It was so nice to park our rental car at the end of a long day exploring and be able to walk to nearby dining and shopping.
My daughters ages 13 & 11 slept on the pull out sofa and there were no complaints of discomfort. This is a big deal, haha! The master bedroom was very comfortable and we were very thankful to have air conditioning.
My family especially enjoyed all of the beach items the hosts supplied! Beach chairs, mat, towels, boogie boards, coolers, ice packs for the coolers, etc. Although we brought our own sunscreen, there were quite a few bottles under the bathroom sink we could have used. There was even a bottle of aloe gel!

We have stayed in many rental apartments and this was definitely one of the best equipped. We really appreciated the fact that the apartment had plenty of toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and even shampoo! Also, great to have boogie boards and snorkel gear. Apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. You are right above pool so it can be quite noisy. Pool needs more shade (only 3 umbrellas). Highly recommended.

Great location and communication
The location and view from this condo are great. Nice balcony to watch the waves and the condo had everything we could possibly need. Nice to have things like ketchup, mayo, olive oil, etc. from previous guests available. Bed was super comfy. Sofa bed was… a sofa bed… but comfy enough anyway. Good recommendations in the welcome binder. We had a great stay.
Best fish tacos we tried were at Quinns, best nicer restaurant with great fresh fish was Rey’s. Huggos was only mediocre.
The best part of our stay was communication with the owners. Lots of great tips and good flexibility during COVID uncertainty. I would come back here in an instant. Thanks Steve and Amber for your great communication and tips for diving. Jacks Diving Locker folks were fantastic. Thanks thanks for the emergency coffee supply and chocolate macadamia nuts. Couldn’t convince my son to try the Spam though. 😬

We really enjoyed our stay here . The condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed . We enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony while having our morning coffee. This was a great location. It was close to the stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again .
