Il possède une cabane de douche extérieure et une salle de jeux avec une télévision grand écran et une table de baby-foot. Préparez un bon repas dans la cuisine récemment rénovée avec comptoirs en granit, nouveau dosseret, cuisinière, lave-vaisselle et micro-ondes! La table à manger peut accueillir 8 personnes et il y a 6 chaises au bar du petit-déjeuner. Il y a également 6 chaises pliantes rembourrées. La salle de jeux dispose également de 4 ensembles de lits superposés, de 4 ensembles de lits jumeaux superposés pouvant accueillir 12 personnes. Il y a 4 chambres à l'étage; 3 avec un lit queen size et 1 avec un lit king size. Il y a aussi un deuxième salon à l'étage avec une télévision intelligente et un futon pouvant accueillir 2 personnes. This is my second time renting this home and I love it even more! The house is clean and very spacious. They have upgraded to a huge dining room table with more seats. The main stars are the wrap around porch and the backyard. Direct river access is everything and this location is perfect. Kitchen has plenty of items, just lacking the basic seasonings. Overall, we enjoy bringing our big group to this property. My only suggestion is upgraded couches, maybe a sectional. The current option can seat maybe 5 people.

This property is beautiful on a large river front lot! Communication w rental company was very efficient and fast. Plenty of room for our large deck. The only negative is the place really does need more restrooms w showers. The owners did recently build an outside casita which is essentially a large bathroom that is nice. House comes equipped with everything.

While the location and purpose of the property were perfect, several things could have made the stay better.
1. The fridge broke, and we only had one fridge, forcing us to buy ice and ice chests for everything that didn't fit into one fridge.
2. Hot water didn't work throughout the house
3. The furniture is old, outdated, and uncomfortable
4. Beds are weak and uncomfortable
5. Pans in the kitchen are old, burned, unusable
6. Because the house is on a septic tank, the use of the garbage disposal and flushing paper down the toilets can't be done. Forcing us to use more bags for toilet areas and food disposal.
7. The blinds throughout the house are not all usable, and you have to be careful not to break them as some don't turn.
8. There are strict regulations on the A/C temperature, and changing it to a more comfortable setting
9. Parking is great; however, in the middle of the driveway, walking out of the fence, there is a big gap in the concrete that a few people tripped over, and it appears to be made intentionally that way. There are no signs or warnings, and one of the small children on our trip got his foot stuck with his shoes on.
Management did respond quickly; however, no attempt was made to return money or offer additional help due to the fridge issue.

The location is really nice, offering natural stone-like "steps" to access the river; however, they are not very even, so you must exercise caution. Small children were carried down. The river was shallow and we could place our chairs in this area. And of course the river deepened into the center where we fly fished or floated! Ponderosa tubing was .5 mile down the road...very convenient! Quick notes: The grill was new and perfect for our meals! They had two propane tanks, one completely full. Two refrigerators made life easier! The ice maker was not producing much ice. Both a a regular coffee maker and a keurig were available. The upgraded the dining table easily accommodated 12 adults. The master has an attached bathroom, only pictured in the video, not in the still photos. Overall the home suited us well, 12 adults and 3 toddlers/babies. We would rent again! Thank you!

The house and property are beautiful, better than described! So much shade in the backyard great river access, lovely outdoor seating areas, and the house was perfect for our group of 15. It was a mother/son trip (but our sons are 18-19 year olds) and the bunk room with all the full beds was perfect for 8-9 boys, then the 4 bedrooms upstairs slept the 6 moms comfortably and we could have easily had room for 2 more adults. Having the canoes and kayaks was fun for the boys!

This house/property was amazing! It was the perfect spot for our family to gather for Christmas!! The home is beautiful! The fire pit we used daily! We canoed on the river, played games by the fire and loved every minute of our time there and even extended a 4th night. On a scale of 1-10 it was an 11! And the staff at New Braunfels Escapes were incredible! They were so responsive and helpful. I looked for the right place for over a week and found this one when I called them last minute. The only thing that could be improved would be a bigger hot water heater (if several of us needed to shower the hot water was gone pretty quickly). I’ll stay here again for sure!

The property and location were fantastic. The kayaks were included and the outdoor space was exactly what we were looking for! The kid only room is perfect, but does have outdoor access so little kids cannot stay.
We noticed the first night that some items weren’t working or were broken and the maintenance came and fixed quickly. The house is older and could use some fixing up. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

We had a girls weekend with friends and our mothers and we all had a BLAST. We drove the 30 min to the Wimberly market days and the drive was easy and felt quick. The house was perfect and everyone complemented me on this find!! The bunk room was awesome and roomy. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to be moving in and out of and was stocked with all we could need as far as dishes, appliances and kitchen ware. The outdoor space was wonderful with many places to gather and enjoy the view. We already plan to stay again.

We love staying at Player's Place. This is now our 3rd summer in a row to stay here for our "adults only" trip, and we love it. Plan to stay for years to come. We did notice some small, and some not-so-small improvements since last summer and appreciate it! The one suggestion we have is to update a few of the mattresses (ex: the two rooms at the back (river side) of the upstairs), and to make them all Queen size or larger. Upgrading the full size bed to a Queen or King makes a huge comfort difference for 2 adults. Other than that, we love it!

Our group has been coming to the Guadalupe River for almost 20 years and only a few years ago did we come across this little gem. It is always clean, more than enough room for our crew that ranges anywhere from 16-20+ adults, it has great access to the river where we can either float the river to the house, or from the house with drop off and pick up help from Little Ponderosa - or simply sit your booty in the water right in the back! We couldn't ask for better location or accommodations and we will continue to come back to Players Place year after year

We had a total of 16 people. Me and my 4 kids + spouses and grandchildren. This was by far one of the better homes on the river that accommodated all of us. The massive bunk room was perfect for the 8 grandkids. The river access was easily accessible which has been an issue at prior rentals. I rented this house with a large group of friends for my birthday. It was a perfect location and size for our group. The porch, pavilion, and backyard were gorgeous, and we loved our time here! The kitchen was nice and large, and it made it easy to have many chefs in the kitchen. We had so much fun and a wonderful stay overall! I gave the house 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons. When it came to cleanliness, the house was mostly VERY clean. However, many kitchen utensils were put away not so clean, as well as pots, pans, and serving dishes that were in the house for guest use. I had to take several things out of the cupboards and re-wash before using. There was also no metal spatula for grilling, which would have been very helpful, since we grilled all weekend. The light switch covers were all this outdated fabric material, which made it so you can’t clean them properly. They were all covered in years worth of smudges, and it was kind of gross to see brown fingerprint smudges on fabric light switch covers all over the house.The online listing said that the house had two kayaks and two canoes for guest use, but we found that there was only one kayak and two canoes. There was also only 1 canoe paddle per canoe so it made paddling/steering on the river difficult. The listing also says that the grill is propane, yet one side of the grill is propane, and the other side is charcoal. It would have been nice to know prior to arrival, since we would have brought charcoal so we could use the whole grill. The house is rented by a property management group, so there was no property manager we could call or text outside office hours. I called on Thursday to ask several questions about the house - one of which was if we could have a late check out on Sunday. The gal I spoke with said to check back on Saturday, because we could have a late check out so long as nobody booked the house for Sunday night. So, I called back on Saturday and asked again if we could have a late check out on Sunday. The gal I spoke with that time said the same thing, only said we would have to wait until Sunday morning to find out if anyone booked. I called back Sunday morning only to find that I had to wait until the office opened at 10am to request late check out again. It was a little unorganized, but they did end up give us a late check out, in the end, which we were thankful for! They alsoprovide plenty of detailed check in/checkout info which made things easy.

Guadalupe getaway
The property and house were nice. It was clean and easy river access. Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The air conditioning seemed a bit out of sorts as some areas were cooler than others in the house, but the early morning temperatures made it pleasant to enjoy the outdoors The chairs outside should be upgraded as they are heavily worn out. Since that is where we spent a lot of our time it was the only thing we found that needed immediate attention. The outside cooking area was wonderful and comfy to sit and enjoy the breeze. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a place we'll definitely consider coming back to.
