Sweeping ocean views nestled in exquisite private garden
La tour de Jade, avec ses vues panoramiques sur l'océan, se trouve à un pâté de maisons au nord du parc d'État de Mendocino Headlands. De 1 à 4 personnes, enfants compris, peuvent profiter du joli jardin qui entoure la tour.
En bas, il y a un canapé-lit queen avec un jardin fleuri et un étang juste au-delà des fenêtres à carreaux triangulaires en verre. L'escalier en colimaçon mène à une pièce aérée avec un lit queen. En hiver, vous pouvez voir les baleines grises qui migrent le long de la côte de la Californie, et au printemps, les promontoires sont couverts de fleurs sauvages. La cuisine d'office, où des repas simples peuvent être facilement préparés, s'ouvre sur une terrasse de jardin où vous pourrez déguster votre repas, ou il y a un coin repas confortable dans l'espace de vie principal.
Si vous préférez manger à l'extérieur, tous les restaurants du village sont à quelques pas de la tour. Les galeries d'art, le Mendocino Art Center, les festivals de musique et de film, le marché fermier, le Crown Hall, le Sweetwater Eco Spa, les sentiers du promontoire et les plages portugaises et Big River sont également facilement accessibles à pied.

The tower was a unique place to stay while visiting Mendocino for a week vacation. The location was perfect for parking your car and walking everywhere in town. The view was beautiful. Would recommend this property.

The tower was the most unique place my partner and I have stayed, and it was perfect for celebrating his birthday weekend! The views were incredible - even on a foggy day we had the beautiful garden to look out on. The location was also perfect. We walked to most of our meals and shopping. Definitely recommend for a relaxing time in Mendocino!

The house, the gardens and the location all stunning! Super clean and well apoointed, with a kitchen that has everything you need. The views of the ocean especially from the bedroom are magnificent and the gardens surrounding this unique house are amazing. We definately would stay here again!

Jade’s tower surpassed my expectations. It’s perfection. I am so appreciative of the owners sharing this special place with me and my teenage son. The location was better than expected, 1-2 blocks to restaurants and shops. The views are magical. The place has exactly the right amount of furniture to relax and not feel crowded. The kitchen has everything. I literally have no complaints.
We rented bikes, went canoeing, fishing, and hiking all within walking distance.

Opening the wooden gate to enter I felt like I was in a magical fairy garden. The flowers, bushes and trees are amazing! Everything is in walking distance. Our host were friendly and accommodating.

There is no more perfect destination for someone or a couple seeking a memorable seaside getaway. Jade's Tower is sublime inside and out starting with its location in the welcoming village of Mendocino. From the warm interior filled with thoughtful amenities and offering sweeping ocean views to the glorious garden of flora surrounding it, you will want to keep returning as we have. If you're a clean freak, this is your slice of heaven. Communications with owner Virginia are a breeze. Caretakers Winnie and Andy are available if needed but respect your privacy. And it's their nurturing that creates that spectacular outdoor space. Note there is a spiral staircase in case you have any mobility issues. Thank you Virginia, Winnie and Andy for a wonderful stay!

Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend for a girls trip and the home is awesome! Awesome ocean views from the living room and bedroom upstairs. The garden is the star of the show! Beautiful flowers and succulents and even an ocean view from the backyard. A beautiful spot to have a glass of wine or coffee. We had an issue with the breakers in the home and it was quickly rectified. We will be back for sure!

My hisband and I had a wonderful stay at Virginia's place in Mendocino. The property was cozy, private and comfortable, a perfect retreat for us for our 3 night stay in town. We loved the proximity to town for dining out amd shopping (Trilliim restaurant was just around the corner) and enjoyed visits to the Headlands for morning and evening hikes. The views of the town and ocean from every room were phenomenal. The private garden was in full bloom with lots of great spits to enjoy the setting with a morning cup of coffee. It's truly a unique hard to come by place that offers both privacy yet close enough to all the amenities the town has to offer. We will definately be back, thank you Virginia!

If gorgeous ocean views and a quaint garden property is your jam, this property is for you. Quiet, cute water tower accommodations surrounded by natural beauty. The host and property managers are responsive and welcoming. The only possible drawbacks are a steep spiral staircase to the bedroom and unlimited sunshine through the plentiful windows. The windows open to create a lovely cross breeze but in the warmer months this property could get very warm. We would definitely stay here again.

We happened to be here the weekend a huge storm hit California. Power went out in the whole town while we were at dinner and our gusts were waiting for us to return- in driving rain and high winds- to hand us battery operated lanterns. We had no heat but plenty of extra blankets. Our hosts offered us a late check out due to road closures.

Even with 3 days of pouring rain storms we enjoyed our Mendocino stay because of Virginia’s unique beautiful house. Very cozy unique architecture, with beautiful windows full of light. Lovely gardens and close walk to restaurants etc. Kitchen was well stocked with teas, spices, oils etc Caretakers on land were friendly and helpful and Virginia a gracious great host.

The property was just right. The water tower is a unique and cozy property. There are views from every window. The kitchen windows overlook the lovely garden, and the bedroom windows offer stunning views of the ocean from which we were able to watch sunrise and sunset The property is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. My husband and I spent a week at Jade’s Tower and we loved every minute of it. The location in Mendocino Village is ideal: very quiet, but within walking distance to everything in the village. We especially loved the private garden, the wonderfully equipped kitchen, the comfortable bed, and the stunning views of the ocean. We loved everything about our stay. We’ll definitely be back.
