We loved the large open space with windows looking out to the Redwoods. We cooked quite a bit and enjoyed the kitchen and the basic amenities provided. We loved the location the town of Mendocino and the Headlands. We loved the hot tub too.

The downstairs bedrooms smelled moldy so we decided to stay upstairs in the loft bedroom.

Great location. Quiet. Just about all the basics. Right up the hill from downtown Mendocino.

Some items did not work correctly (Blinds in Bathrooms, Microwave handle broken, Light fixture in main bathroom may have short in it). Furniture was okay. Could use some updating. Beds were hard and you may want to replace the mattresses.

Door lock did not function on exiting the building. I reported this but got no response.

The location was great and house was very clean. It was very easy to access. There were no chores required at check out, not even a list, so it was nice to be able to just close the door and leave.

Prior to booking I inquired about the comfort of the beds and was told they have been upgraded, otherwise I would not have booked but when we got there found the beds to be extremely uncomfortable and super hard. The kitchen is a mix of cheap bowls, plates and and kitchen tools. I don't expect top of the line but they should be upgraded and items necessary to make a simple meal should be available (i.e. no bread knife, baking sheet or potato masher was available). The hot tub was nice but the steps into it are rotten.

Amazing location. Beautiful scenery and house was beautiful.

Beautiful place deep in the redwoods. Close enough to town.
