Property was perfect for our group. As a group of disabled vets, most of us (me especially) snore. Having seperate bed rooms and a couch was perfect for us to hang out but not be in close quarters like a hotel. There was an outside stoop and had it been warmer we probably would have taken advantage of that more. Overall it was a great experience.

Place was very clean, easy access, comfortable beds, great shower water pressure and coffee readily available for morning wake up! 😊. Close to gas station, grocery store and many restaurants. Link to parking was little tough to access but finally went thru but luckily able to park out back first night since it was so late when we arrived. Would recommend and be back when we visit our daughter again

Host gave good instructions and the unit was as advertised. When we go back to visit our granddaughter we will use it again.

The flat was as described and located in a residential neighborhood The owners left nice amenities We had one issue ( our fault) and they responded immediately. Only thing we found was lack of good water pressure in kitchen ( no problem in bathroom and shower was very nice!) Was perfect for the three of us.

Very comfortable home! It was very clean and the location is great. The beds were super comfy. Loved the ghost train nearby!

We really enjoyed our stay here, everything was super clean and inviting. It is a great location near our family and we will definitely check for availability when we visit in the future!

Teresa was super communicative throughout the whole process and patiently and promptly answered all of my questions. The house was even more charming in person; I just loved the art and decor. The whole place, carpet included (which I'm always a bit leery about), was absolutely spotless. The beds were just amazing, luxuriously comfortable. As an FYI, one of the bedrooms has blackout curtains, but the other one does get light in the morning. There were lots of thoughtful amenities, e.g. a large umbrella at the door, hand lotion by the kitchen sink, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and green with lots of interesting architecture. The location was very convenient -- we were able to easily walk to coffee, restaurants, Metro Market, and Walgreen's. The lake is a little further, but worth checking out. Highly recommend!

This home was a nice, peaceful location with a lot of room and most of what you would want in a home let alone in a place to stay. It's close to the main commercial center in Shorewood, and the neighborhood is quiet and relaxed. I'd certainly stay here given the chance next time I come back to Milwaukee or Shorewood.

Great location! Easy access to other nearby communities where we visited family and friends. Unit has plenty of space. Quiet at night. Lots of coffee shops & restaurants in walking distance. Quick drive to local parks on Lake Michigan. Definitely recommend!

What a charming upper flat! The arrival instructions were clear and we gained access with no trouble. Upon arrival, we found a nice selection of individual snacks on the counter with cold water in the refrigerator. The property was just as described. I loved the vintage decor! It was clean and well-kept with several amenities that made the stay that much more comfortable. I give it 5 stars, not in the plush well-appointed hotel perspective, but in a clean, safe, comfortable, convenient, charming VRBO perspective. Thank you, Brad and Teresa for sharing your home.

This is an amazing place to stay, clean. cozy, well decorated, plenty of thoughtful touches, water bottles and snacks ready for tired travelers!

We enjoyed the apartment. The only problem we had was with the Wi-Fi and the owners got that taken care of within half an hour so so. Nice to have off-street parking.

Walking distance to lots of restaurants. Charming neighborhood. Funky fifties decorating. Comfy beds. Very reasonably priced. Will stay here again the next time we visit Milwaukee.

It was a delight staying here for five days. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen worked fine, the location was nearly perfect for me and the property managers were tops. I only regret not being able to dine at their restaurant, Sala, which a friend recommended to me, but which sadly was shut on the only night I had available. Next time.

We enjoyed staying in this cute retro house and it was an excellent location for us, right on the bike trail and walkable to Lake Michigan. Very clean and comfy. Thank you to our hosts.

We were very impressed by the property and the owners! The property is an older property, but it is in incredible condition! Great location and the owners were very friendly and courteous! I will definitely stay there again if we are in the area!

Very nice clean apt.on quiet street comfortable and much more relaxing than busy hotels all the things one will need to be right at home my go to stay place when in milwaukee

This was the perfect choice for us as we were in Milwaukee for the Harley Davidson 115th Anniversary rally. We could motorcycle by day to all the events, then return back 'home' to park the bikes and UBER to Veteran's Park, Brady Street or other nearby sites for less that $10. There is a nice bar/restaurant within walking distance too. The neighborhood is quiet, neighbors we spoke with were friendly and the accommodations were perfect. We hope to rent again for another stay in MKE sometime soon.

We stayed in the flat for a weekend to attend a conference at UWM -- it was a three minute drive, and about a 20ish minute walk, totally perfect. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the apartment was nice and clean, and the hosts were very lovely. We had a great time. The decor was retro, but comfortable! We'd definitely stay again if we ever return to Milwaukee.

We were in town with multiple relatives in multiple locations to celebrate with our daughter at MSOE. The location was convenient, close to every where we needed to go with limited vehicles and people going to multiple locations. It was so nice to have a SPACE to come back to instead of another hotel room. The property is clean and comfortable. Everything is well maintained and has everything you need for quick meals on the go...... Easy access, quiet, really glad we chose to stay here.

The apartment is on a nice, quiet street in a safe neighborhood. Be prepared for some seriously retro decor - but it is all very clean and tidy. I was there with my two small children, and we enjoyed dessert on the small balcony, slept soundly on the comfy beds, and appreciated thoughtful touches like the small dish of snacks/chocolates in the kitchen. We were in town for an event at UW-M, and this location was excellent - a short drive to campus, or there is a bus stop that is just a 1-minute walk from the apartment (and the bus transport is great! very clean and timely).
