I came to the area for work and bright my family along. It was wonderful to stay at the house! We watched whales feeding for hours one morning and walked to ice cream everyday!

The house was totally nice and very clean. We are a family of 4 with 2 college aged kids. We also brought our dog and it was a Perfect setup. Great location right above Seacliff beach and walking distance to shops and food. Backyard jacuzzi with outdoor shower was a nice plus! Highly recommend!

The place was nice and cozy and had a lovely beach casual feel to it. The front deck with ocean view was a perfect spot to hangout with a small group and barbecue. Me, my husband, our 4 month old daughter and my parents stayed and we all loved it. We’d love to come back sometime. We brought a Pack n Play for our 4 month old to sleep in, which fit in front of the dresser by the French doors. It worked nicely for us as we did not need to use the dresser. The back yard is also very nice and inviting. Sid was easy to communicate with and provided all the info we needed for a wonderful stay.

Great location and nice neighborhood. The place had everything you need. The sofa bed- meh. And on Tues am the gardner came into back yard, 8am with yard blower,,,, my door was open. But the front deck was my favorite place! I would come again.

My family (two teens, my husband, dog and I) had a great stay at the Beach Bungalow in Aptos. Property is super cute and clean. Close to restaurants, cafes and shops. Quick walk to the Beach. Water in the bathroom shower took a LONG time to get hot, but the hot tub was amazing and had a nice outdoor shower.

Gorgeous views, friendly neighbors, and completely relaxing is how I would describe our experience! We have never been to Aptos before and we completely fell in love with it. The bungalow was perfect and very clean! Had a wonderful time! Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to the beach, and beautiful ocean view from the deck. You can even hear the waves crashing on the shore. The home was clean and comfortable with lots of conveniences (washer/dryer, coffee maker, shampoo, outdoor shower, etc).

We had a wonderful time. The 1st 2 nites we had 2 couples. This was perfect!

Excellent Santa Cruz getaway

We loved our spring break stay at Sid's property in Aptos. From the beginning and throughout our stay Sid was very communicative and even provided a list of dog friendly restaurants. The house was absolutely lovely, immaculately clean, and in a wonderfully quiet and charming neighborhood. The cable tv and internet both worked very well. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, had nice appliances and was perfect for cooking meals. There is a lovely and sunny front deck facing the ocean and a private and nicely landscaped fenced in rear yard with a hot tub and outdoor shower. There is a very cute little downtown area 2 minutes walk away with a taqueria, a Mexican restaurant, pizza place and ice cream shop. We were able to spend our days without getting into the car which is a vacation in itself. In one direction there is a path with stairs to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk. To the other direction, there is a nice walk above the cliff that eventually winds down to the beach. Our dog had a great time as well and was exhausted from all of the walking and beach time. Overall, this was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had in recent memory thanks to our wonderful stay at Sid's place.

This was our second trip to Aptos, and we really enjoyed staying somewhere that was a short walk to both the beach and restaurants (and the beautiful view didn't hurt!). The house was exactly as described. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was terrific, and the outdoor shower was much appreciated. The host was easy to communicate with and very welcoming. We definitely plan to stay here again.

This house has all you need: comfortable (e.g., parking, appliances - full size fridge, washer/dryer, coffee maker, garbage disposal, etc.). If wanting to play music from your phone, be sure to bring a cord for hook up to a stereo or TV. Cute backyard deck and garden with hot tub. Good location and all was accurately described. Overall, it was a great experience and owners communicated very well!

The place was just as pictured, within walking distance (stairs) of the beach. Bbq worked great. Spa worked great. Some toys and games for kids.

My family (husband, son, dog, and I) had a terrific time at Sidney’s beach house! It was totally clean and looked like the pictures, on a quiet street with friendly, relaxed neighbors who chatted as we sat on the front porch enjoying the view of the ocean and sound of the waves. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to the beach as well as stores and restaurants. The hot tub and fenced yard (for the dog) were the cherry on top! We hope to come back soon!

My family had a wonderful Christmas at this cozy beach get-away. The location of the house is perfect - a short walk to Seacliff State Beach. The fenced in deck and backyard was a perfect set up for our dog. I really appreciated the covered back deck area - it made for a great wet dog clean up area since we had rain.

A very nice beach bungalow. The main room and bedrooms are very well set up. Kitchen is convenient. Beach is a short walk, but lots of stairs to get their. Great beach with miles of walking possible. Lots of restraints close by. We would definitely stay here again.
