Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views from this condo were beautiful, the furnishings were very nice, and it was very quiet. I am a light sleeper and usually use a sound machine to block out noises but I didn't use it and I didn't hear a thing outside the condo. My main criticism is that there was absolutely no storage in the kids bunk room. There was no room for drawers or a table (only the beds) and the only closet in the room was locked so we had to share our drawers and closet space in our bedroom with the kids, which was very inconvenient when we were trying to change, etc. My only other complaint would be that it was not as clean as I would like. The clothing drawers were dusty/sandy, and the refrigerator had cheese shreds in the drawer and the shelves were dingy. I had to wipe out the clothing drawers before putting in our clothes and wipe out the refrigerator. I also washed the sheets before we slept on them as there was some sand and hair on the beds in the kids room. There was also an old bandaid under the edge of the stove. Also, they only initially supplied 3 towels and 3 washcloths in the main bathroom, which is odd since the bunk room and 2nd bedroom can accommodate 5 people. When we requested additional towels we had to wait until the office opened and rather than sending out someone from housekeeping, we had to go pick them up ourselves. This is not a big deal, really, just unusual. Overall, however, the resort and condo were just lovely.

With such an early checkout on Saturday and extremely late check in for the new arrivals on Saturday, it makes much more sense to do the chemical maintenance on Saturday morning.

The property is well maintained, It's safe ith secure entrance. The staff is professional and helpful. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Easy beach access. No negatives. We plan on returning next January. St Augustine weather can be iffy in January.

It has everything: great decor, great furniture, wonderful beds and the ocean view from the patio is so perfect. Colony Reef is very well maintained, managed, and cared for by friendly people that really do care.

Apparently no one is monitoring the parking rules, so you have cars that are parked in areas they shouldn't be which may cause you to walk a large distance to your condo when you find an open spot.

We loved that living area had plenty of comfortable seating and beds were very comfortable. Wish second bed room had a twin extra in room but we mananged. It would be nice to have a couple of light weight blankets because comforter in main bedroom is too hot for summer use. Had to purchase a manual can opener for kitchen as there was no type of opener. Left it in drawer. Two small dishes dirty in dw but no issue. Other than that everything was perfect.

We always find them clean and the condo office and maintenance staff exceptional in responding to any of our questions or concerns. We appreciate all the amenities with inside and outside pools, exercise room, sauna, tennis courts, easy access to the beach and many planned social activities.

Great weather. White sand. Great property and this condo was perfect. Wish pool and hot tub open later for older kids but otherwise great experience. Very safe too.
