Le 267 Palisades Drive se trouve dans le quartier haut de gamme des Palisades, à Kirkwood. Notre maison est idéalement située entre les deux ascenseurs express (Chair 6 & 7) pour un accès facile au ski. Notre maison sur mesure a les meilleurs matériaux et des bois de construction en sapin de Douglas. Nous supposons que nous adorons skier à la maison pour un déjeuner fait maison puis revenir immédiatement après. La maison est conçue pour permettre un maximum de lumière du soleil et des vues sur les falaises rouges. Cette maison individuelle peut accueillir plusieurs familles et amis. Vous apprécierez l'accès facile au ski, à la restauration, à la randonnée, au vélo et à d'autres activités toute l'année.
Cette maison de 3600 pieds carrés a toutes les commodités dont vous avez besoin. La belle cuisine personnalisée a des comptoirs en granit, sièges de l'île de 6 personnes, armoires personnalisées, gamme Thermador et 2 lave-vaisselle Bosch. La maison dispose de 6 chambres: deux suites de maître, deux chambres avec lits superposés (avec 3 lits superposés dans chacune) et deux chambres supplémentaires (une avec une reine et l'autre un roi). This was a great quick stay while we endeavored on some of the near by trails. We were a small group and enjoyed all the space, but this would also be a perfect space for a big group.

We spent six days at this home—excellent accommodation for our group.
Our only concerns were that some of the bedrooms and bathrooms had cobwebs hanging from ceilings and windows (inside and out).
The non-stick cookware is old, and the non-stick surface is scratched. I would not cook on any of those skillets or pots. Maybe the owner could replace them?
The hair dryers in one of the master bedrooms did not work.
My family and I would stay at this location again. Maybe next time during the winter season!

Great group getaway

Family reunion ended in a babymoon
My husband and I were going to have a family reunion with our five children and their families. Unfortunately, my husband ended up in the hospital due to heart problems. My youngest daughter, who is pregnant with her first baby, decided to have a “babymoon” with her husband. They both could not believe how beautiful the home and area was. She was constantly sending us photos! Everything was perfect!!!

A Dream Home for our family reunion
This home was a perfect place for our family reunion. 19 people all enjoyed having a comfortable bed to sleep in. There was plenty of space for everyone. The home was absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans you could need. The towels and linens were plentiful. Everyone in our group loved the house, and hope to come back again!

Great view of the mountains. The house is very spacious. The minor issues were the remote controls to the TV/Amp may need new batteries and the bathrooms don't have vents (need to open the window or have fabreeze ready :))

Enjoyed a white christmas with family in the perfect house!
Three brothers, their wives, parents, 3 grandparents and 6 children ages 6-21, all packed up in 4 cars, Christmas presents loaded and headed up to Kirkwood for a white Christmas. We parked two cars in the garage, and two on the driveway and rarely had to use 1 of the cars.The house did not disappoint. It was big enough for all of us and the two gathering rooms meant the kids could hang out in the lower level and the parents on the main level. The ski in ski out was so much better than driving or shuttling to the slopes! Especially with the little ones who do not like to carry their skis very far. The kitchen was fully stocked. Some of the pans were a bit worn out, but we always found the right pot for our needs. It was so nice to have two master bedrooms as well as two bunk rooms. We had a great time and highly recommend this house for large families.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We loved this cabin. It was beautiful and comfortable. Made us feel at home. We were 10 adults and 9 toddlers and we easily fit in this 6bedrooms cabin. Kids had super fun. They played with the toys provided in downstairs family room.

Great company ski-trip
We recently rented this property for our startup company's ski trip. The home is as nice as it looks in the pictures, easily accommodated our 18 person crew, and is just a short walk up the street to skiing @ Kirkwood. The owner's do a great job of taking care of the place and keeping it very well equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook 3 lasagnas for dinner one night, and there's even a ski/snowboard room nicely setup for touching up your edges or putting on a fresh coat of wax. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Kirkwood Home, Fully Stocked with Incredibly Understanding and Accommodating Booking Staff
I stayed in this home at max capacity of 22 people over a weekend in the summer.
Booking Staff:
Joan is nothing less than fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and one of the best people I've ever rented from. She's not the owner and she's managing other properties so I understand the challenges she faces. Would not hesitate to work with her again!
Kitchen:
This house's kitchen is extremely well stocked with plates, bowls, cups, glasses, utensils and cookware. We had 9 people in the kitchen, prepping, cooking and washing dishes. It was crammed but there was a lot of countertop space. We were able to make dinner and appetizers for 22 people easily. There is a second fridge in the laundry room, which was fantastic since we had to have food/drink for 22 people.
Bedrooms:
All very well furnished with clean sheets and dark blinds. All beds are firm and very new. Everyone slept SPLENDIDLY. Funny story, some people couldn't find their way to their beds at night and found that there were no blinds in the living rooms. Sunlight starts pouring in at 545AM!
Bathrooms:
Large ventilated and well stocked bathrooms. Extremely clean and pleasant to shower in!
Common Areas:
TVs worked like a charm. We had some problems figuring out downstairs audio but after a while we gave up. There are TWO living rooms, which was cool if people wanted to watch different things. Floors were heated if necessary but it was the summer so we kept them off.
Patios:
Perfect, clean patio furniture and a gas grill that pulls gas from the house so there is no need to worry about running out of gas. We spent a LOT of time on the patio.
Amazing house, we had an amazing time and considering we were in Kirkwood in the summer, there was no one around so our party ran late into the evening with no complaints. Kudos to the owner for amazing modern yet rustic furniture and furnishings. We were far enough away from Tahoe to be away from the South Lake Hot August Nights riffraff, but we were close enough that we went to Zephyr Cove for the day. I loved the house, worth EVERY PENNY!
I would not hesitate to stay here again!
