This property was perfect for our wedding! We stayed with family and had the wedding on the beach with a small reception at the house with friends. Maria was amazing to work with throughout the processes. I the sun room facing the ocean was our favorite!

Gorgeous spacious property for our annual family vacation. House was clean and tidy and laid out perfectly for all of us. The kitchen was my favorite space as it had such an open concept that we all were able to prepare meals together while making memories.

Everyone enjoyed their time at St. George Island. The size and layout of the house was perfect for our family.

This was our 3rd stay at Casa Del Soul. This home has beautiful ocean views and a great walk out/sitting area. This house needs updating. Kitchen and bathrooms are adequate, but at this price point it is a bit disappointing. The elevator is a fantastic convenience for the disabled and the elderly. However, the steps to the walkway are difficult if you have serious mobility issues. Again I'm beautiful views and location is what makes this house. Updates and some fixes would make it a five star house.

Perfectly located near the jetty for exploring. The house was well stocked with any pan you would want.

This place has it all. Perfect location, beach not crowed. Almost like you have your own private beach. The views are awesome. All the comforts of home. Maria was quick to help with any questions we had. We will definitely try this place again!!

The location and beach access was great! The house was nice but needed a few repairs. Nothing of a serious nature just routine maintenance. Also cleanliness could have been better. Having said that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. It was a very quiet, beautiful environment.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The kitchen and space allowed for some amazing shrimp and grouper meals. The view and boardwalk to the beach was wonderful. Would definitely visit again

We enjoyed having so much space in the house. We enjoyed cooking together in the huge kitchen, relaxing on the beach and balconies and just being together as a family. My husband said I chose well and he is ready to book again for next year!

Wonderful private beach setting with unobstructed views of the gulf. Super comfortable, family friendly space with room to gather and to make great memories. Highly communicative and responsive management fixed minor issues with lights and smoke detector battery the next day. Room to improve in some areas: a few appliances need to be upgraded (range and mini refrigerators in particular); some issues with outdoor spaces (screened porch where hot tub is in need of maintenance, storage room for beach items not orderly and contained numerous aged/broken items, no serviceable outdoor grill) need some investment to make them shine; small touches such as high end towels and some complimentary bathroom and laundry room items) would be appropriate in this price range. Don’t let the minor items deter you, but be mindful that a few aspects of this property need just a little TLC. Overall a very good experience.

This house was very roomy and was laid out well to accommodate all ages of our family. We had a personal chef for dinner one night and the kitchen and dining areas were perfect for an elegant dinner. There were some maintenance issues that were dealt with promptly. The hot tub was never functional which was the only disappointment, especially since we were experiencing red tide and some rainy days.

This house was exactly what we wanted. We had 6 adults and we had plenty of space to spread out, cook and watch the dolphins off the decks. We were close to the cut where we walked for the sunsets each evening. Communication with the property manager was easy. Would rent again.

Our family has been going through Saint George Island for 30 years, Mostly staying in the plantation. It had Everything as advertised and more. We would recommend it without reservation!

After traveling 9 hours, we arrive at the security gate to be told our information was not in the system and they could not provide our parking passes, but they would let us in. We arrived at the house & the code on all paperwork did not work. We called the emergency numbers to try to contact host many times before Maria finally answered, she yelled at us, told us she was at an event, gave us the new code that she had emailed that day, and hung up. We get in the door and up the stairs and the house is dark & a mess! Extremely misrepresented on the website. The house was filthy. Within 15 minutes of entering the house, I texted Maria that the house was unacceptable. No response. Within 1 hour, we killed a spider IN OUR BED, leaving blood marks, and another spider in the sofa. Cockroaches in the kitchen. Stains on the sheets/bedding and long black hair, like someone had slept in the bed. Long black hair in the shower as well. All bathrooms and & kitchen were dirty. The drawers that held the flatware, dishes, cookware, etc were nasty. MANY of the lights in the house would not even come on, whether it was bulbs or electrical issues. Even the lights on the stairs wouldn’t come on…not safe at all! There was missing electrical plates and sheetrock patchwork throughout the house and it looked like maybe a painter had started “cutting in” around the trim but only here and there. The floors, which appeared to have been replaced not long ago, were so dirty. There was no way it was safe for my small grandchildren to play on. Went to the wet bar area and the ice machine had mold/mildew and full of condensation ice buildup. We went to open a door and could not get it open. Blinds would not go up to see the view. It was going from bad to worse fast. Nothing in this house was even remotely close to safety and COVID protocols. Took pics! ZERO response from Maria. I have multiple myeloma cancer…it’s a blood cancer and I’m on full time chemotherapy. My immune system is severely compromised. When I rent a place, it must be generally clean. It’s the same standard VRBO has listed on their website. Maria never responded to my messages and made NO effort to contact us to correct the situation. We had no choice but to find alternative accommodations for ourselves, late at night, holiday week. Thankfully, God provided. We packed up and moved to the new house. We had been up nearly 24 hrs. We were exhausted and upset. Maria sent a nasty message 3 days later. SHAMEFUL!

Great open floor plan for family of 9. Well stocked, up to date kitchen. Gorgeous floors and interior. Comfy beds. Beautiful swimming pools and hiking trails. Location close to town area and restaurants. Fun fishing! Lots of beach toys and chairs furnished. Shelling!

Overall we loved out stay. The room layout was perfect for us, just the right number of beds for 15. The elevator was such a help for moving in and out and for my older dog who doesn't do stairs well. Bumper pool was a huge hit and the double ovens and two refrigerators were a definite plus for a large crowd of eaters. The downsides to me were that there were no working smoke detectors and several of the blinds did not work so the views were a little obstructed. One of the kayaks was damaged and did not work and we did not have access to the golf cart that was advertised. Overall, our stay was fantastic and we are looking forward to going back to the Island again in two years.

Fantastic house is you love spaciousness and beautiful views. Great beach walkway and seating area. The elevator is a must for handicapped folks like me. The house needs some updating, but a perfect spot for families that aren't too "picky" about stuff like that. Great for families with pets (like us).

We loved this house. It was spotless upon arrival. The kitchen was fantastic and HUGE! Two full refrigerators was awesome to have as we do a lot of cooking for our large family, and let's not forget to mention the double ovens, separate bar area and icemaker, mini fridge, tons of pantry space as well, so many extra details that make this house special. Maria was super responsive and great to work with. The views from nearly every room are stunning. We've been coming to SGI for 12 years and this by far is our favorite house.

The home is absolutely beautiful and it's huge, so we had plenty of room to spread out and not feel like we were tripping over each other. We appreciated the king-sized beds in 3 of the bedrooms, although it's a tight squeeze in two of them. The bedroom on the west side of the house could use a more substantial curtain, as we had lights in our eyes at night from the neighboring house. The kitchen and separate bar areas had everything we needed to cook and serve. I will say I've never stayed in a rental house where there were sharp knives for safe cutting and slicing and this one did not change that track record. There were plenty of chairs, toys and games for fun on the beach. There isn't a sizable umbrella or shelter, however, so be prepared to rent one if that's a necessity. The location could not be better - private, just steps from the uncrowded beach, with gorgeous views of the sunrise. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived and the welcome gifts were so thoughtful. Maria did a good job communicating with us before and during our stay. Overall, our stay was pretty perfect. I've already recommended this home to a friend! Thank you for a great vacation!

From the moment we booked this place till the time we reluctantly left, we had a fantastic experience. Maria was incredibly responsive, helpful and knowledgeable about the island. The house is fully equipped for a large family or a group of people. Lovely little touches made the stay memorable. We have been coming to Saint George for 15 years and this was by far the best house we’ve stayed in.

Casa Del Soul has a wonderful view of the beach. Quiet and peaceful setting. The house is quite large and has everything that is needed for a family, including little touches like puzzles for a rainy day. The owner was great with communication before the trip and throughout our stay. We were very happy with our stay there.

The property management team was responsive and stayed that way to make sure we were safe during the storm. Great customer service. The house itself is really nice, if showing its age just a little. With the craziness of 2020, out plan was to hang out on the beach and eat in as much as possible. That means we focused a lot on the house itself. Nothing was wrong or bad. Just a little dated.Once the weather cleared the beach was amazing. Direct access and plenty of space between houses made distancing a non issue. The water is beautiful and the shell hunting was top notch after the storm. The hot tub is a nice touch, and we also visited the community pool, which was top shelf as well.On the whole, 5 stars with a few nit-picks even during a hurricane!

Our family had a great time at Casa Del Soul! This house had a great living space and the kitchen is great. Large island was a great place to sit while the chef(s) for the day prepared the evening meal! Lots of fridge space too! The elevator and walkway/sitting area is a real plus for anyone who is disabled (like me!). The views from the house were great too. My family and I all agree that we had a wonderful week. St. George Island is gorgeous. P.S. Lots of dolphins to watch! Maria was very responsive during the booking process too.
