This is an amazing property, beautifully maintained and well equipped for a family. Awesome kitchen and game room. Definitely a must stay. The hosts were extremely helpful and made sure we had a nice vacation. Definitely booking again. One of the best experiences we have had in this area.

House was as advertised. Great location, wonderful fishing right off the dock. Water was is no-wake at this point so it's a great place to bring a boat and tie up. Owners were responsive, though they had repairs and services to be made while we were at the facility and those were interruptions and/or threats to interrupt privacy that one expects when vacationing. Communicate with them prior to check-in to ensure you know if and when they expect people at the house while you are there. They definitely did their best to make sure the experience was great.

We have been coming to Holden Beach for over a decade now, and this was our first time being on the intracoastal. This house exceeded all of our expectations, and by the end of our stay, we were all reluctant to leave. We especially loved the wildlife (we saw a family of otters and a pod of dolphins!) and the various boats. The weather wasn’t the best, but we hardly noticed as we enjoyed the gorgeous interior and the lovely screened porch. We’ve booked it again for next year’s trip. We can’t recommend this house enough!

Light filled main and top floors were perfect for a 4 woman retreat with yoga, meditation, massage and painting purchased from Holden Beach Massage. We used the 3rd floor daybed sitting room as the 4th bedroom (no bathroom or privacy for the queen bed in the bottom floor game room & the 4 loft beds have no privacy). Loved the furniture, blankets, kitchen, elevator & hot tub. There are plenty of bed pillows. (Bring your own spices, paper towels, oil etc; bring or rent sheets/towels.) Lots of special touches: good kitchen knives with sharpener, card table and folding chairs, puzzles, tasteful decor, folding step for kids sink, surfaces/shelves to put stuff. Deep garage is nice but narrow (door controls on wall look like square flat lights). Winter beach was walked but too cold for screen porch or dock. Saltwater Shanty ice cream and Old Ferry Seafood market were great. We brought our own towels and sheets, toilet paper, and dish detergent. There were laundry and dish washer pods but maybe from prior renters. Food Lion is 1.5 miles. Lovely light on the intracoastal waterway, boats go by so close, beautiful sunsets beyond the bridge, and the ocean is just a few houses away. Everyone was delighted with the home and the setting. As an experienced vacation renter, I was pleased and also found Adam quick to respond to his cell phone or texts. VRBO messaging was not effective but it did send the correct entry information a few days in advance. I would definitely rent here again and we are already talking about making this an annual event.

Beautiful home in perfect location! Elevator was a life saver for seniors and was great for moving luggage and supplies in and out. Thank you!

Excellent location!
The property was ideally located on the island. Several places to ear within walking distance. Private dock off the back. Short walk to the beach. Great screened porch for breakfast or relaxing after a day at the beach. Extremely well stocked kitchen when it comes to coming utensils compared to many rental properties. Very few downfalls on the trip. Most didnt involve the house (intersection coming off bridge to acces Island and other drivers that had minimal courtesy). Only main issues with the house wqs the hot water didnt seem to last when you have a group trying to clean up and the hurricane doors were a bit tricky on the deck.

Wonderful Trip
We rented this house for a week. Everything was absolutely wonderful except for the check-in. VRBO never sent the code for check-in but the owner quickly resolved the issue. The house was just how it was described. Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be booking another trip!

Amazing Amazing Amazing!
Wow! Pictures don’t do the house justice. This house has tons of space, a lovely grassy back yard for kids to play, super close beach access and everything else! Bring your fishing gear, kayaks and boats- the home’s private dock on the Intercoastal is fantastic. The views from the porch overlooking the water are wonderful. The house itself is stunning and is fully stocked. Everything is the best of the best. Don’t love cooking on vacation, but when you’ve got a professional Viking setup, yes- it’s much more enjoyable! The hot tub is great, the large screened in back porch was awesome. We used the huge grill one evening to cook out. This house has everything. And if it’s not there, you don’t need it! We weren’t there 30 minutes and we were all talking about next time we rent the house for 2023 spring break.. Communication with the owners was easy and quick. Must note very comfy beds! You will sleep like babies. Make sure to RENT linens for beds. So much easier… we used Fun Beach Rentals as noted in the description- super easy, they deliver and pick up. And finally… we were an inter generational family ages 5-74, 14 of us.

Awesome location, beautiful home!
This was our second year staying at this property and we had a wonderful time! House is absolutely beautiful and leaves a lot of room to spread out. Location is perfect if you have a boat. Beach access is directly down the street. Really doesn’t get much better! We will be back!

Under construction
We found out on our way that the house was having some work done so we might need to use a different entrance. We were a little surprised when the crew showed up the next day. From now on, I will be sure to ask before renting. However, it was still a bargain because it is beautiful and convenient. We would definitely return pending construction status.

Fantastic Views and beautiful house
The ICW views from this house were great. The house is beautifully decorated and had great amenities. We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed every minute of it. We were visiting for the half marathon race and the location to the start/finish was perfect. Will be back for sure.

Had a great time!
Wonderful place to stay! Check in was a little tricky because the site didn’t send us the code to get in, but both Adam and his dad were quick to help us out! House was clean, dock was perfect for fishing and kayaking, easy access to beach and town. Overall just a great time.

If you like to fish!
Listed as 3 bedroom, 3.5 baths greatly under estimates the total package! Room for everyone, everywhere! Sharing house with 5 teenagers, wife and I (79 and 75 years) were concerned with noise pollution . Not a problem! I was able to fish everyday whenever I wanted....will be back!

Not really happy
Our staying wasn't how we pictured it. The house is really big and the location is great. As soon as we opened the door there was a very strong moldy smell. It seemed like the house wasn't aired for months. It wasn't easy to get used to it. The first floor was nice. Big livingroom and a nice kitchen. The second floor ????not good. One of the beds was broken so the couple had to sleep separately. The single beds were really small and very close to each other. They literally were a good size bed for kids younger than 10..They are too small...The bathrooms were good. The basement where the games are was dirty and the moldy smell was even stronger. The house wasn't cleaned. There was dust everywhere. Plus .....what made it even more disgusting is that there were dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets. I even took a picture of it but I'm not going to post it. What I said is more than enough to understand how much we "enjoyed" our staying. When I saw a big roach on the foor I wanted to scream but I thought about other people ....and let it go..We have been in other homes and never happened to right a review like this one. Not happy at all. SORRY.

Great family get away.
I booked this property for the Thanksgiving week and a party of 10 and we were all very happy with our stay. It was everyones first time staying in Holden Beach and they all liked it quite a bit. There was more than enough room in the house for everyone to have plenty of space for cooking, dining, visiting and relaxing. The elevator was very convenient for the oldest of our party and for moving all the luggage from the ground floor up into the main floor of the house.
The gas range and the large island in the kitchen made meal prep and cooking very convenient and there was a pretty extensive supply of dinnerware and kitchenware for our needs. The hot tub was nice and the back deck and dock were nice for relaxing and watching the fishing boats cruise by. There was lots of lighting and nearly all of it was dimmable which was a nice touch.
We're looking forward to visiting Holden Beach again and some of the relatives that stayed with us were interested in booking this property themselves at some point.

Great
The house looked just like the photos. We had some issues with the gas, however the Parkers were very accommodating in fixing the problem. It was short 5 min walk to the beach. The pier off the back of the house was great for fishing. We found a great little resturant over the bridge to eat breakfast every morning.

Beautiful home, great location, perfect vacation
We had 12 people spanning 4 generations staying together in this house, and everybody gave it rave reviews! The location was perfect - walking distance to the beach, candy shop, ice cream, and restaurants. Its location on the Intercostal Waterway made it quieter, traffic-wise, and we loved watching all the boats pass from the comfort of the screened-in porch. We kayaked, crabbed, and fished off the dock, which was wonderful. Everything in the house was very clean and tidy when we arrived, and everything "worked" - elevator, hot tub (fun!), kitchen appliances, grill, etc. The chef's kitchen was perfect for entertaining. The loft single beds are comfortable, but it's a bit loud if you have people chatting downstairs - just a consideration when you think of who will sleep there. It was great for our heavy-sleepers and kids. The basement also was a very nice lounge area for games or quiet time. This was certainly one of the nicest beach houses I have ever stayed in, and will be at the top of our list to consider next time. Thank you!

Awesome place, we absolutely loved it
We absolutely loved this house, it was perfect for our family. Nice place sitting on the ICW and can even see the Ocean from the house. This house is perfect for just about any family. We look forward to staying here again in the future, thanks so much!

My family had only the best things to say about this beautiful home!
We loved everything about this home. The location was perfect. My mother in law enjoyed watching the ships pass by from the porch. My husband and I were blessed to watch a family of otters play on the docks. The ocean was a short walk away. The rooms were lovely. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was awesome. I was told by the most fastidious of our family that the home was clean, immaculate, and that I did a good job choosing it.
Mr. Parker was very accommodating, polite, and easy to reach.
This was the best family vacation we have ever had and we hope to stay here again!

Great Home
We really enjoyed our weekend at your house. The porches were great to sit and listen to the music from the Days at the Dock festival. The dock on the ICW was a hit with my 10 year old great-nephew. He wanted to stay down there fishing. The walk to the beach was very short. We also walked to the restaurants. This is a home we want to stay in again. Only problem was with the elevator.

Holden Beach House
We had 8 people stay at this house for the majority of the week but had 10 people one night and still had plenty of space and could have even had more. This house is gorgeous & I would definitely reccomend it to anyone. It is great for people who like to fish as we had two boats docked all week but is also a short distance from the beach. Holden is great because it's not super crowded and very relaxing. Adam was also very easy to work with!

Wonderful family vacation
We come to Holden every year for a family reunion. The house I normally rent was not available so I found this house. It was wonderful, fabulous kitchen, very spacious living areas and beautiful yard. The kids fished off the dock, it was a short walk to the beach, and a wonderful restaurant right next door. This is a great house for families. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home.

Amazing family vacation home!
My family really enjoyed this house! We were five adults two teenagers, and three under six. It was the perfect mix for us. ..a short walk to the beach using the beach cart they provide and fishing right off the back dock. Not overly crowded at all but close to everything you could need. Owners very helpful and accomodating! Plenty of multiple "hang out" rooms in the house so everyone has their own space! Love the chef stove! We'll be back!

Beautiful Home, great location
My family of 8 enjoyed this home immensely- great location with intercoastal in back and view of ocean from front porch. The house was large, had lots of nice amenities and was well suited for large groups. Wonderful, relaxing place! Only down side was that previous renters had damaged the hot tub so we could not really use it.

Nice if you don't need elevator & other items...
I am writing this review with mixed feelings. Overall my family enjoyed our vacation. The house is attractive. The owner’s son was pleasant; but I was disappointed by the owner's lack of concern for things that were important to my family. On Saturday, I sent a text about a broken toilet seat/elevator/fan/light. The handyman came Monday; fixed the seat on toilet #1 and handle on toilet #2 but said that water might keep running since a part was needed; the other broken items required approval by the owner. The handyman never came back & the toilet kept running. Later, an elevator repairman came. After he left, the elevator still did not work. I sent another text explaining that a family member was disabled & had difficulty with stairs (I didn’t think I had to mention my 77-year-old mother & my sister-in-law with bad knees would also need a working elevator). Another repairman came on Wednesday. This repairman said the elevator manufacturer went out of business; to fix it would be very expensive. After he left, the elevator still did not work. I sent another text to the owner’s son. The elevator remained broken our entire stay. My ailing family members had to painfully climb stairs to participate in this long awaited and possibly only family reunion. One evening the refrigerator was 59 degrees. We quickly rushed the food to the refrigerator in the garage & wondered if everything had spoiled. I read in the owner’s notebook that the refrigerator would not stay cold if overfilled. We did not overfill. I did not bother reporting the faulty refrigerator since the owner apparently already knew. After our vacation, I sent an email to the owner describing our disappointment. He replied NOT with an apology or an offer for a refund; rather he accused us of having 8 additional people (as reported by neighbors), which is completely untrue. If the owner would have greeted us, done a walk-thru or stopped by to see if everything was OK, he would have seen that we had not exceeded the number of people that was discussed. If you will have elderly or disabled guests, be warned that if the elevator remains broken, there is no way to get to the main living area except by the use of stairs. Read an earlier review by renter who commented that the elevator was broken during their stay. I wish the owner would think more about his renters & warn of the broken elevator since families like mine might count on it & he should replace the refrigerator before someone gets sick.
