This is such a fun place in such a great location, but it would be nice if the owner cared a little more. First and foremost, there's no mattress in this unit - there's a king size 6-inch-thick foam pad on top of box springs. The pad is quite old (it's made by a company called Bragada that's been out of business for years), and when you sit or sleep on it, you can feel the wood rails of the box spring underneath. There were also some cleanliness issues. There were cobwebs in the lamp shades, the blind, and the ceiling fans, and the bathroom sink was clogged. I texted the property management company about all of this, and they fixed the cobweb and clogging issues the following morning, but could only let the owner know about the mattress complaint. The last bit was, as slight as it seems, the toilet paper. The unit had that single ply, tough, scratchy industrial toilet paper that hurts instead of anything comfortable. While that's such a small detail, combined with the no-mattress bed on a bed frame with a broken footboard, it feels like the kind of the place where the owner expects to put zero effort or money into it but get your money out of it. If they fixed up the issues, it'd be a great place and an easy five stars, but for now, I'd look elsewhere.

So clean, cozy, and best location. With a balcony and on top of a coffee shop!!!! Walk downstairs, get java and walk one short block to the beautiful Southport waterway.

This little condo was a perfect location and set up for my wife and I. The condo has everything we needed and was within walking distance from everything in Southport! We highly recommend this condo!

Perfect little getaway to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary! We had a great time. So close to restaurants and cute little stores. Everything is pretty much in walking distance!

This property was the perfect location for our visit to Southport. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Southport. Port City Java right below the apartment had the best coffees and breakfast choices. Apartment was clean and well stocked with a cute balcony overlooking downtown. Highly recommend and would definitely book again for next trip.

We loved the apartment and enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking Howe Street. The unit itself was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Nice high ceilings, and just the right amount of space for the two of us. We will stay here again!

The Port was the perfect place for our little getaway! We love Southport and the location of this place is absolutely perfect, right in the middle of all of the best restaurants, shops, etc. The home was well appointed and very clean. Nice, well-appointed condo over Port City Java. Take leisurely walks throughout the town and enjoy the gorgeous homes and gardens. In early mornings and late afternoons watch the Ibis fly through in flocks to and from their nesting area and hear the Singing Gulls screaming overhead. So lovely!

My husband and I enjoyed a great long weekend trip to Southport! The location of the condo is perfect, within walking distance of many great restaurants and shops!

Celebrating our 25th annaversary, we were in the perfect spot to walk the entire town, run downstairs for morning coffee, and sit on the deck to people watch.

The location of this very comfortable place is in the middle of small shops, Restaurants and only block away from the water front. My favorite feature is the balcony which allows a wonderful view of the downtown day/evening activities, with an amazing breeze. A special note regarding the assistance of staff at Southport Realty. The condo is downtown near all the shops and a short walk to the river. We took long walks in Southport every day. We found the condo very comfortable and enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings. Wonderful weekend getaway!

Spacious Condo located in the center of beautiful Southport. Short walking distance to restaurants, shops and waterfront. Loved the huge king bed, and it was nice having 2 bathrooms. And the views from the second floor balcony were awesome. Looking forward to coming back!

For us that location was good because we like walking, trying different restaurants, and shopping. If you were a beachgoer this is not a good location. There were several inconveniences like towels being ragged, parking was a daily issue, and having four remotes To figure out. The most disappointing issue was cleanliness. When we arrived there was laundry in the dryer and washer, the floors had not been swept or mopped and the bathroom have not been cared for. We contacted the realtor and within 30 minutes the cleaning service arrived and within 10 minutes they had touched up everything. They left the clothes in the dryer for us to fold. With the COVID-19 pandemic being present in our country one would have thought that cleanliness would’ve been priority one. Our suggestions would be: First find another cleaning service. Second a fresh coat of paint on the marred walls and doors. Third upgrade the furniture.

This was an outstanding property located in the heart of Southport. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Port. It was a beautiful apartment in a very convenient location to downtown Southport and all the restaurants and shops. We brought our bikes and rode all around beautiful village of Southport.

Centrally located two blocks from waterfront, this one bedroom condo above Port City Java is bright and we’ll appointed. Walk anywhere in Southport and wonderful coffee downstairs! Two night minimum, but cannot beat this property for the quality, comfort, price or location.

Check-in was easy and welcoming. The condo has a wonderful balcony with table, chairs and a spot to watch the world go by. The location is an easy walk to the riverfront, restaurants and shops. For a little while, we felt like natives.

If you are going to visit Southport you really MUST STAY here! The location is perfect but really the condo is very full sized, beautiful, bright~ the bed very comfortable and the bathroom in the bedroom terrific. There are two bathrooms 🥰. Very clean and you will feel right at home. Thank you thank you thank you 🥳
