again issues with transportation. either it’s free or it’s not free. there it was free…but only one way???? you have to chose between coming or going. but they tell you that when you get there….booking needs to check if free means free, or free one way or not free. if you advertise free…it should be free both ways

the quiet location ….free courtesy car journey to next destination would have been picked up from airport but didn’t notice their contact until after we had already left. requested a chilled bottle of wine in our room which the management duly obliged….although it was not a very nice Pinot Noir 😊

Breakfast were very good, the pool was nice . The staff was rapid to help us when needed. The size of the room was great. The location is a bit out of any good spot but it was very quiet.

Wifi is unreliable, (we have lost connexion nore than once for 30 minutes or more) so do not go there if you think working remotely. There is no cornerstore nearby, so make your provisions before if you do not rent a car ... At the bar, they sell regular bottles of beer (330 ml) but you cannot buy only a single glass of whisky , you have to buy the whole bottle....

Staffs are so accomodating and helpful.

Hotel Gabriella was our home for a week. The location is very convenient and easy access to the highway, ICM Malls, and restaurants. Rooms are CLEAN! Relaxing in terms of quietness (you don’t hear any noise from cars/trucks passing by the streets. Staff at the reception desk were friendly and approachable.

Suggestion/room for improvement: The hotel needs a more secure and bigger parking space; opening the trunk of the vehicle (SUV) to unload stuff is not safe because either the front or back end of the vehicle would obstruct the street from passing vehicles. They also need a person to assist with parking. I would suggest having a visible security guard especially at night; they have CCTV but it does not apprehend or prevent crime from occurring unless there is an operator monitoring the CCTV 24/7. CCTV is only a tool to aid an investigation after an undesirable incident occurred.

It’s stylish and modern boutique hotel , cosy and comfortable in the Dao district close to Tagbiliran so not far to travel . The rooms are clean and comfortable with good aircon and large bathroom . The room was equipped with large fridge , kettle and microwave while the 24/7 reception could be contacted to provide extra aids such as ice , cutlery etc . There was room service until about 11 pm every night and they provided good and cheap meals such as pizzas and some Filipino dishes

Nothing . They had a facilities management led approach to the building repairing small wear and tare defects such as loose floor tiles . The pool was cleaned twice daily . In terms of the surrounding environment the local government were improving the roads and drainage and there seemed to be moves to upgrade the broadband as I saw vans coming and going in the area .

Basically everything was fine, except for what is described in more detail below. We stayed as a family together with my brother-in-law and his wife in this hotel in two 4-bed rooms. The included breakfast was sufficient and reasonably varied and typical Filipino. For me as a European, there were two pieces of toast instead of rice and in addition to spoon and fork also a knife. The hotel restaurant offers typical Filipino food at an acceptable price. The food tastes really great. A big praise to the kitchen! The dining room is nicely furnished with a view of the pool and is weakly air conditioned. The beds are good, the rooms very spacious. The split air conditioning in the rooms worked great and very quiet. We enjoyed the hotel's own swimming pool. The hotel staff is very nice. Our requests were always met if possible. It is about 3.5 km to the city mall. Easy to reach with a tricycle at a price of 30 peso per person (you have to negotiate the price with the driver, they can also charge 80 peso, but 30 is normal) Right next to the hotel there are some Sari-Sari-stores. There you can get many small things for daily needs. We were all very satisfied with our stay and had a great time.

The Wi-Fi hasn't worked most of the time. The explanation of the hotel management was a typical excuse as the Philippines always do when something does not correspond. Likewise, the question of whether payment can be made by card, I received in reply that the setup of the card terminal is in progress and if it is available at check-out it can be used. Of course, it was not available at checkout and the bill had to be paid in cash. Important in-room utensils are not available, such as the ability to hang wet bathing suits and wet towels. There are only 2 chairs and no table in the 4-bed room. The vanity was very loose. The brewing equipment in the room is half defective. The free toiletries were only available at the beginning of our 7-day stay and were never refilled. Towels were exchanged on request. The entire hotel lobby was not air-conditioned although air conditioners are available. So it was very hot and humid from the hotel entrance to the room. The water in the pool was not crystal clear as it should be, but slightly greenish, but still ok and refreshing. The showers in the locker room were defective. The stone table top of a table next to the pool is broken off on one side and sharp, you can easily injure yourself. The pool jacuzzi is meant well, but the seat is rough and not tiled but the walls. In addition, the jacuzzi was never put into operation, even if bathers were there. In the same way also the pool bar. It was never occupied, although the entire hotel was occupied by hotel guests. As it is in many hotels and condos in the Philippines, these hotels and are very poorly maintained and much is really done without reason. If a hotel is new, everything fits at the beginning, but the facilities are no longer maintained and so you will find a 2-3 year old hotel as just described here. Too bad!

I like the location, is not crowded, the staff are very nice and attentive, and also the have a nice pool, which my nephews enjoy swimming, the place is clean and very spacious, the bed is comfy.
