The Captain's Quarters exceeded our expectations. The layout and design of the house is perfect to take advantage of the location which has wonderful views to the harbor and surrounding hills. The home although large and spacious feels very warm and welcoming. We didn't want to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Captain’s Quarters! The property is beautifully appointed and very clean. Plenty of room for our family of four (our boys loved the loft space!). Absolutely beautiful views of the harbor and all the way to Mavericks on a clear day… we can’t wait to visit again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Spent a wonderful relaxing 21/2 weeks at this comfortable modern apartment. Ab is a great host and the apartment is clean and well equipped. There is so much to do in the area - hiking, golf, good restaurants. We will be back!

My daughter was married 4 doors down from this awesome home., at Mavericks House. We had friends and family coming and going, working on floral arrangements, and getting ready for the wedding. The home was awesome and Ab the owner was so accommodating. Neighborhood is up and coming with outdoor venues with live music just a block away. A++

Very comfortable, clean and spacious for a family of 4 and possibly up to 6 or 8 even. Ab was a wonderful host, friendly, communicative. It was lovely waking up to the sea lions and pelicans and sounds of the waves lapping on the shore. Good easy biking nearby and plenty of beaches to explore. The harbor is perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding too. We didn't want to leave!!

We had such a great weekend here! There were several restaurants that had patio or indoor dining, and all had take out. We hiked up to Pillar Point Bluff and enjoyed a picnic at the top. The home is very cozy. It was spotless! The attention to detail was everywhere. The decor is well thought out. And it's comfortable. You can spread out and not be bumping into each other like in a hotel room. The couch was a little too soft for my back, but that is minor. It was really great to hang out on it and watch TV, play a game, or read. The kitchen is set up to prepare a full meal, or, like us, make our coffee and tea (provided) in the morning. The bathroom is thoughtful and the shower is really nice. The pressure was good. We slept so well with the high quality bedding and excellent mattress. We had a few things we didn't love, but it didn't take away from the great time we had. The view - while the water is so close and is viewed from the patio, there is a building directly in front of the home which is in front of you if you're sitting outside on the patio. Not private, but that was okay with us. We knew before we reserved the space this would be the case, but the upside is the water is so close and it is visible from all the windows. And the toilet paper was one-ply. The whole space consists of high-end, expensive furniture, appliances, and decor, so the one-ply doesn't belong in such a nice place. And lastly, the wifi was very slow. We tried to watch the musical, Hamilton, on TV, and couldn't, which was unfortunate, but not the end of the world. We would definitely stay at Captain's Quarters again. And Ab was communicative and prompt. Thanks for letting us stay at CQ!

We just returned from a wonderful two day stay. This property is amazing. It is immaculate! Ab is wonderful to work with as he is very flexible for check-in times, etc. We love to cook, and the kitchen it wonderfully equipped. A ++++

this was the best stay we've had in a long time. coordination was super easy, the property and location were absolutely lovely. would come again in a heartbeat.

Great place and location. Walking distance to Mavericks beach and all the cool restaurants in the harbor. Super clean, well stocked kitchen with everything you need for cooking any meal. Ab was easy to work with and ver accommodating. Highly recommend.

The property was sparkling clean, well stocked, and the layout of the flat was perfect. Ab was a great host and responsive. Would certainly considered staying here again in the future.

This vacation rental was really nice. The house was really clean and had everything you would need for your stay. There was only a couple down falls. One being we had read about the seals barking all night but did not read any mention of the horn that went off all night and into the morning every 60 seconds. My kids and I have never slept so poorly. We had someone follow us on the beach and one of the neighbors yelled at us because of dog mess that had been left from previous animals(some of which was ours we had only been there not even 12 hours) The owner of the property were very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful large 1 bedroom, all new, modern and updated. Awesome view with sea lions, ships and kayakers. Close to restaurants, shops and brewery Great trip with beaches nearby.

Very comfortable & clean! View of Pillar Point was enjoyable...especially for seal watching. Seal barking was not intrusive...at all, added to the charm! Exceptionally well stocked kitchen! Owner had bagels, cream cheese, coffee, & cream waiting for us! Wish list: second bathroom; lamp in living room; rug or some sort of lighting the stairs down from the loft; more patio furniture. We actually used the grill & would have enjoyed eating out on the deck ;). The online pics were representative of the condo space. The Half Moon Bay Area was quaint...so fun! We ate at Sam’s Chowder House, Mezza Luna, & Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. We bought groceries at the Sav-a-lot grocery store 15 minutes away. Truly a memorable experience!

In town for only a few days and stayed at Captains Quarters. The place is immaculate and furnishings and finishes top rate! It is located in a nice little town, where you can walk to several restaurants, small shops, and the beach. Love the location and hope to visit again next year when we are back in town. Thanks Ab!
