Notre maison au bord d’un lac est située à quelques minutes du centre-ville de Blairsville, à proximité du parc national de Vogel, des chutes Desoto, de Brasstown Bald, d’Helen Georgia, du centre-ville de Blue Ridge et du casino Ace Sweepstakes à Murphy, en Caroline du Nord. En outre, l'expérience de conduite chez Porsche dans les Appalaches est nouvelle dans la région. Dans la région se trouvent 8 cascades et de nombreuses randonnées, notamment le sentier des Appalaches.
Après une journée de divertissement sur le lac ou après avoir exploré les nombreuses cascades et sentiers de randonnée à proximité, rentrez chez vous pour un barbecue sur le gril, admirez la vue depuis le porche, détendez-vous dans le bain à remous ou jouez au billard!
Bien que notre quai soit situé en eau profonde, le lac est contrôlé par un barrage. Après la fête du Travail jusqu'en mai, le niveau de l'eau sur le lac est beaucoup plus bas que pendant les mois d'été, mais reste très profond.
Le niveau principal dispose de grandes fenêtres donnant sur le lac. Le salon avec télévision par câble est ouvert sur la cuisine et la salle à manger pouvant accueillir de nombreuses personnes. Trois chambres sont situées à ce niveau avec deux salles de bains. Dans les chambres de ce niveau, vous trouverez un lit queen-size, un lit double et une chambre avec deux lits jumeaux. Vous pouvez monter sur l’un des trois porches couverts pour passer l’après-midi dans une chaise longue, un hamac ou un bain à remous.
Le niveau inférieur est un endroit idéal pour se divertir! Il est équipé d'un bar, d'un billard et d'une grande télévision par câble. À ce niveau, vous trouverez également une chambre avec une immense douche à l'italienne et un lit king confortable. Sortez vers un porche couvert avec un grand bain à remous.
Si vous n'apportez pas votre propre bateau, vous avez la possibilité de le louer à plusieurs endroits le long du lac. La ville de Blairsville et Blue Ridge sont toutes les deux très charmantes et offrent de nombreuses options de restauration et de divertissement pour votre commodité. We could not have been happier with our stay.
We were two families (4 adults, and three middle schoolers) who enjoyed every moment of our time at this beautiful location.
We found everything we needed in the home including many wonderful places to rest and relax.
We were all sad to leave and hope to return someday.

This was our second time staying at this property and it certainly won’t be our last. Shirley has everything you need at this home! We rented a boat to keep on the property which was a big hit with the kids. Definitely a must stay with your family to create some amazing memories!

This is our 3rd time staying here and we will be back! Plenty of room for our group of 7 adults and two little ones. Shirley provides everything you could possibly need and more. Love the dock and the screen poarches are a favorite. Spent alot of time on front porch rocking grandbabies and watching the deer. Perfect for afamily get away

We rented this adorable lake house for the Memorial Day Weekend.
The kitchen couldn’t be more stocked with everything you could possibly need. We had our 4 grandsons ages 4-8, and our children/spouses. Everyone loved the hot tub, pool table, foosball table and fire pit! We rented a pontoon boat and spent days enjoying that beautiful quiet lake.
The decks are fabulous!!!!
We loved this house and will keep it at the top of our list!

The house well very well appointed and decorated for the season. We all very much appreciated the little touches like the “tool chest “ full of snacks, coffees, condiments, extra coffees around, a kitchen that has all we needed for our girl’s weekend. The bedrooms were very comfortable and perfect sleeping arrangements. Very clean. We very much enjoyed the screened porch to relax and take in the view. It was also nice that all the light switches on the walls were labeled as well as fans. This was a beautiful home we could easily rent again!!

Loved the property and location. Everything about the cabin was nice, very roomy, with plenty to do for entertainment. Liked the screened in porches and beautiful flowers and plants on the front deck. Plenty of room for parking. Lots of stairs but no one in our group had any issues. Didn't get to fish as much as I wanted but still caught a few bass from the dock and even lost a bass close to 5 pounds. Also seen deer at the cabin every day sometimes multiple times a day. Most everything was 10 minutes or less away so very convenient. I would definitely like to book again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay over Labor Day. There were 7 seniors(60+) in our party and we had plenty of room and things to do. None of us had any issues with the stairs but there are lots of stairs in and around the house and down to the lake. Everything was as pictured and we enjoyed all the different levels and porches. The house was clean, the kitchen well stocked and all the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. The lake was not crowded and very enjoyable. Thank you Scott and Shirley for sharing your beautiful home.

Our family had a great time together, the house, the dock, the water was everything you could ask for! So much room for everybody and so clean and well stocked! We will definitely come again ! Thank you Shirley for everything and for the early check-in , that was a plus for us!

We stayed at Shirley's lake house for a week and had a wonderful time! The house was comfortable and clean with everything we needed for a fun vacation! Right on the lake, comfy beds with room for all 4 of us. All of the porches were a nice bonus! Grilled and ate outside almost every night. The dock was perfect for our rented pontoon boat too!

What a fun, family vacation! We hiked, boated, swam, played games, grilled, and ultimately chilled. We LOVED the three screened in porches. They were perfect for playing games, napping, and relaxing in the hot tub. The kids enjoyed the downstairs so much- pool table, darts, foosball, and their own tv for video games and movies. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake house. Can’t wait to come back!

Our family really loved this home. We’ve summer vacationed a couple years at Lake Nottely and this was by far the best lake home we’ve rented. The screened in patio’s, fire pits and lake/dock areas were highlights for the entire family. Can’t wait to rent again.

This lake house is one of the best I’ve ever rented. The host went over and beyond to make our stay special. Everything was well stocked, very clean and comfortable. The dock is amazing! Great experience and a great getaway. Highly recommended!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It is perfection. Our group consisted of my husband and I, his parents and our two young boys (3 and 1). The accommodations for children was especially nice. There was a pack and play on site with a mattress and sheet all ready for us. Additionally, there were two booster seats for the table, an adorable kids table with two little chairs and a box of children’s books. This was all so nice, as it saved us room in our very packed car on the drive there and back. The kitchen is probably more stocked than my own with anything you could possibly need. We cooked all our meals on site and never once found ourselves lacking cooking utensils, appliances, etc. There are 4 porches or decks on this house and we were in love with each of them. There is one that shoots off from the kitchen (fully screened) with the grill and a large table/chairs. That was our favorite place to have our meals. So perfect. The dock was enjoyed every day for fishing. That was probably my 3 year olds favorite part of our whole trip, catching the little blue gills off the dock. What fun! The bedrooms are all nice sizes with comfortable beds. The recreational area downstairs was especially enjoyable after the kids went to bed to shoot pool, play games and watch TV.
We would 100% return to this location. It truly couldn’t have been better and there’s nothing I would change about our stay. The host was so kind to check in on us via email and make sure everything was going smoothly. I was blown away that she messaged us before our arrival to say we could check in early and also prior to our departure to say we didn’t have to rush out that morning. That was so appreciated, as we were traveling with our young kids who sometimes make timelines a bit more difficult. Thank you for that!!

Our entire family enjoyed this stay! The home is beautiful and we loved all of the little details that the owners included. The men enjoyed the fishing and caught brim, catfish, crappy and bass. The morning views of the lake were beautiful. The entire family enjoyed the game room (especially the giant uno cards). We will definitely be coming back to this property in the future!

This house was great! It was exactly as described in the posting. It was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. The grill area was great for grilling and eating outside. The lake was beautiful and the dock and swimming area were so nice! We also enjoyed the evening sunsets and firefly shows! This is a beautiful property with great hosts.

The Lake
We loved this home, stocked with everything you could imagine. This is one of our favorite lakes to visit, and we would definitely stay in this home again. Hot tub, screened in porches, spacious rooms, games and wonderful lake access. We had a great time, thank you so much for letting us stay.

Cast your cares on the water
Where do I begin? Pulling into the driveway was best scene ever. You're literally surrounded by water and serenity. The place was stocked with everything you could imagine. This was the best birthday in a while for me. There was plenty of space for alone time but the set up just lended itself for family fun time. The host was amazing and was quick with responses. She gave us boat rental suggestions and go to places for food. A++ Host and place. The only down side was the fish weren't biting but that's the luck of the lake. Highly recommend this one

We have stayed in several VRBO’s over the past few years. This house is by far one of the best. We had 8 adults in our group. We lacked for nothing! The kitchen was so well equipped. We loved sitting on all of the various decks and watching the lake. We will return!
