Affordable Beach Front Living that is Dog Friendly. Classic Beach House
Twin Peaks est le bungalow de plage à l’ancienne, parfait pour votre famille et même vos bébés en fourrure! Laissez les dauphins être votre divertissement pendant que vous bercez vos soucis sur la véranda surplombant le golfe. Faites un plongeon dans le surf et le soleil à quelques pas sur la promenade. Il y a deux Master Suites. La suite King dispose d'une grande salle de bains avec douche à l'italienne et double vasque. La reine dispose également d'une douche à l'italienne. Le grand salon ouvert et la cuisine complète avec bar à petit-déjeuner et salle à manger formelle créent l'atmosphère pour une escapade en famille! Nouveau pour 2018 est notre paquet de linge de bain! Si vous avez besoin de deux fois plus de serviettes, choisissez ce forfait et nous les aurons à votre arrivée! Nous pouvons également organiser le nettoyage en milieu de séjour, il suffit de demander!

Malgré les dégâts, nous mettons tout en œuvre pour que les réparations soient terminées afin que vous disposiez du séjour parfait que vous attendez de Twin Peaks. Malheureusement, les dégâts sur le Florida Panhandle étouffent les réparateurs et les projets ne sont pas terminés aussi rapidement que quiconque sur St. George aimerait. Sachez que la maison est sécuritaire et que la plupart des réparations majeures ont été effectuées. Sachez aussi que St. George est "opérationnel" et n'attend que vous pour venir vous détendre. Malheureusement, à ce jour, nous n'avons pas réussi à faire réparer le porche blindé et les éclairages Turtle sur la plage. Des réparations plus sérieuses ont désormais la priorité. De plus, les fenêtres des deux côtés de la cheminée devraient être réparées en août.

This is our second visit to this house. If traveling with dogs, it is the best.

There are some very nice features about this property. We especially enjoyed the full length deck/porch where we spent a lot of our time. You get a good first impression when you walk through the door. It’s bright and spacious and has a wonderful view of the water.
The biggest drawback was the poorly designed steps to the beach. There are several levels to navigate just to get to the wooden walkway to the beach. Some of the major appliances needed repair (refrigerator and microwave) which we reported and were not corrected. (Communicated with the owner but never heard from local property manager. ) And bedspreads could benefit from a deep cleaning.
Despite the criticism, we did enjoy our stay and would consider coming back again.

Very nice, spacious house. Screened porch is great. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable furniture. Public beach access wasn’t a problem, just set your beach stuff up early. Caught fish, but no keepers. Not the fault of the property! Wife loved the place. Would consider booking again. Overall very good.

We have been coming to St George for 24 years. All but two of those years we have stayed at Twin Peaks! We've already signed up for next year! We are in our eighties now and an elevator would sure be nice!😊

Twin Peaks never disappoints! It's in the perfect location - the home is well appointed with everything you need and Sammy is the perfect host.

This was the perfect place to just chill and relax. The fireplace was an added benefit for the chilly days. We loved the porch which was great for happy hour. The location makes it easy to walk to the store and restaurants. Twin Peaks has the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen for a rental property. They even had iron skillets - made cornbread to go with vegetable soup. Thanks for a great place for birthday celebrations and Valentine’s Day.

We love St. George Island! It is not as crowded or commercialized as a lot of beach locations. Twin Peaks is on the beach, clean and has plenty of room! We will be back!

Way too close to public access. They all came in front of the house. Exhibitionist on beach. Pretty much nude all the time and hit on my girlfriend. Almost called police. Terrible location.

We have come to St. George for 5 years now and love this location on W. Gorrie. Close, but not too close to the town center. The only issue location wise for this property is that it borders a public access, so the beach is more crowded than other spots. However, this just means that there are people 20 yards away instead of 40. Still plenty of beach space for everyone.
The property itself was as advertised. It needs to be renovated, and I believe there is a plan to do that soon. Even so, it has a terrific deck (partially screened), nice sitting area and everything you need in a beach house to have a really nice stay.

Prefect beach front stay!
Looking for the prefect beach front vacation rental look no further! This is our second year staying at Twin Peaks and it is prefect for our family of 8 plus 2 dogs!! We will be back next year!

Love the porch!
This house was perfect for our family getaway for 6 adults. Relaxing on the porch in the rocking chairs just a few steps from the beach was our favorite part! The house is spacious with ample seating. The AC and all appliances worked well and the kitchen is well stocked. The only somewhat negative part of this house was that it is located right next to a public beach access. It never really got too crowded, but we love quiet beaches so this was an unexpected surprise. Overall, this was a wonderful house and we would rent it again!

Beautiful beach week at laid-back St. George
My husband and I, my parents, and two dogs stayed at Twin Peaks in late October and loved the casual, quiet vibe of the island and the big beachfront porch at Twin Peaks. Although there was red tide the first several days, making going down to the water a little less desirable, we were able to sit and enjoy the view and the sounds of the surf from the porch. We had an issue with one of the toilets, but George got someone right over, and they came and fixed the problem without fuss in about half an hour. My mom was impressed by the amount and variety of kitchen utensils and equipment. Really comfortable home, with eating space inside and on the porch, and a nice living room where we could enjoy movie nights. Look forward to coming again!

We love the island and this property is what other reviews state, great location way outta date.
Arrived little early Sunday to find the house not cleaned. So, we cleaned the house sanitizing what we could with what we had. We were reimbursed cleaning fee but…well I’ll leave it at that. Great location on the island with spectacular views of the gulf. There is a block of wood on the screened in porch that needs to be removed. My wife tripped over it blacking her eye really bad. The dryer timer didn’t work on any of the cycles we used but it did dry clothes. Our kids did complain about the beds in other rooms but we slept fine on master. Hard to find 3 bed 3 bath on the gulf which this place is. We will consider this place again mostly due to the location! Can’t beat the gulf and laid back area.

Great beach!
Great location, comfortable house! The problem was the house had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. I called and texted property manager. He eventually texted back, and said a cleaner would come the next day( we had already cleaned, and washed all sheets and towels) The cleaner never came! There was an issue with the refrigerator door. A Kevin Brown was supposed to come and fix that, he never came.
I am now waiting for a refund of the cleaning fee!!!
Other than those issues and the difficulty communicating with the property manager we had a great week!

We enjoyed our stay at Twin Peaks. We love SGI and all that it offers. We love biking around the island and brought our dog & he loved his first trip. The view of the beach and convenience of the home was a plus. Plenty of room for our family. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect, with one exception.
We love Twin Peaks. We have come here with our small family and dogs many times, and will continue to do so.
The only issue we had this time was that the property management appeared to be overwhelmed and the house had not been cleaned when we arrived (at 7:30pm).
It took a few correspondences with the manager, and a few hours, before someone made it out to clean.
That was very stressful/frustrating after a long day of driving.
That said, the house is great, the location is awesome. We absolutely love drinking our coffee on the covered back deck in the mornings, and to be able to walk directly onto the beach.
The other stuff can be remedied.
Still love this place.

Family beach vacation
Wonderfully relaxing week. Couldn’t ask for better weather! House had all amenities and was very dog friendly. 2nd time at twin peaks and already booked next year!

Great beach front location.
We have 30+ years going to SGI and love being on the beachfront. This pet friendly house was adequate but due to issues with current management and apparently short staffing we found the place very dirty compared to standards we've found at other SGI properties. Glass patio doors were covered in hand prints, rug was sandy, black grime around faucet, pet hair on the furniture, gritty floors. Also were missing some promised amenities which were subsequently delivered. We were refunded the cleaning fee after some delays in getting in touch with management. But with all the issues we had to deal with we still enjoyed the island and being directly on the beach. Nice open covered porch overlooking the Gulf as well as a screened porch may get us back there some day. I appreciate the owners willingness to make things right.
