The retreat is exactly as shown in pictures, but BETTER. Every little thing you could want is here. The cleanliness and comfort better than any 5 star hotel. We could not think of anything we might need that was not available from the luxurious tub with bubbles looking over the bushland, the outdoor spa, the bbq and outdoor decking all of the best quality. Our fur babies loved the forest walks and snuggling by the fireplace. The personalised welcome sign and birthday bottle of wine were a lovely touch. The information available on the surrounding area was great. Thanks Lee and Sam.

For a couples weekend away in the forrest, this is an excellent place to stay. The additional hamper we ordered was fantastic and everything way set up prior to us getting there. The property is well appointed with all that we needed. We will be visiting again and highly recommend.

Fantastic chalet
My husband and I stayed here for two nights we brought our dog too. The chalet was clean , comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The finishing touches and little extras made our stay so special. Thank you Sam and Lee I would definitely recommend

Comfortable seclusion
Great place for a getaway and got to bring our dogs, which was lovely. Knew before going that there is no wifi and little wifi reception, which was completely fine. However wasn't told till just before the trip our dogs were not allowed in the bedroom or on the couch, which didn't leave a lot of other space for our dogs to be with us indoors (they are indoor dogs). Was also disappointed that the fireplace was not working as we were looking forward to that.
Pros: Lovely place, comfortable and clean, thoughtful touches, beautiful bath and outdoor spa.
Cons (just small points): Maybe consider leaving dogs behind as not a lot of space for them indoors, and check if fireplace working if that is something you really wanted.

Cosy getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we booked there was clear communication, on arrival there was a cute welcome sign which made us feel at home. Being able to bring our dog made the stay even more enjoyable. We definitely plan to stay again.

Short Holiday with our beloved Pooch
Staying at this property was a dream. No fuss with checking in, the place was perfectly maintained and exactly as advertised. My partner and I absolutely loved the outdoor spa and the bath. The hosts were amazing in their communication and their willingness to go above and beyond. Only downside was the sparse internet and phone signal. 10/10 would stay again

We loved it!
The chalet is spacious but still has a cozy feel, and has absolutely everything you need; it really is a home away from home. Our favourite thing was sitting in the hot tub looking out into the forest in the afternoon. Being able to bring our dog was especially special for us. Sam and Lee are the perfect hosts and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful, from the spotless chalet to answering questions on local spots and attractions.

Excellent stay
This was a perfect location for us for our mini honeymoon. This place is so secluded and surrounded by the beautiful bushland. We loved both the outdoor spa and the amazing bath tub. They have everything you need and it is a clean modern place. We really enjoyed our stay and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thank you Sam and Lee

Seclusion
Amazing stay. Peace and quiet of the bush surrounds. Beautiful wildlife and we loved waking up to the birds singing and watching them through the bathroom windows while soaking in the tub. Still close enough to town to grab everything you need. Can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful stay in Margaret River
This is a lovely property very well located for easy access to Margaret river. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Very cosy wood burning fire and great bath tub for relaxation!
Sam & Lee are very kind hosts with lots of great recommendations for local eateries. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.
Only improvement to be made is if there was wi-fi. Then it would truly be perfection.

Serene and sublime
Me and my fur babies enjoyed 3 blissful nights at Rosa Glen. The chalet was beautifully appointed and was well stocked with everything you would need. We were greeted by the lovely Sam, who showed us to the chalet. It is secluded in its own patch of forest, but only 15min from Margaret River. A highlight was the generous bath and the hot tub. Nothing better than soaking with a glass of wine and enjoying the tranquillity. The fur children loved our morning bush walk around the well sign posted and well maintained track around the property. We will definitely be back!

Stayed there for 5 nights, although a busy time of year the place was very well kept, completely peaceful and only a 10 min drive to margeriet river. Awsome that we could bring our best 4 legged fur baby there to holiday with us too!

Fantastic stay! Highly recommended
We had such a wonderful stay here and I'd highly recommend it! The chalet itself is beautiful and in a stunning setting. We were able to bring our dog which was a real treat and made our stay so much more special. I loved sitting in the deep bath with a glass of wine and counting shooting stars from the spa. Sam our host was very helpful and lovely, even bringing us extra firewood when needed. I have nothing at all negative to say about this place. You won't regret staying here, that's for sure!

Total Seclusion
My wife and I booked a chalet here for two nights and it was the perfect winter escape. The retreat is situated at the end of a long unsealed driveway off a quiet country road 15mins south of Margaret River. We were welcomed on arrival by the incredibly friendly and bubbly Sam who guided us down to our home for the next couple of days. We're both clean freaks so one of the first thing we noticed on arrival was that the chalet was spotlessly clean, perfectly organised and well maintained. The only (minor) issue we had was that there wasn't any cooking oil in the kitchen, but other staples such as salt, pepper and milk were included. It's possible that a previous guest took it home by mistake. It might be an idea to bring your own essentials just in case.
One thing that wasn't clear to us on the listing was that there are only 2 chalets at the retreat, set well apart from each other with a thick patch of forest in between. Once we checked in, the closest we came to another person was smoke rising from a distant chimney and the only thing we heard were the birds singing outside the windows. We've never stayed anywhere with such total privacy. An added bonus (for us) was that we couldn't get a mobile signal without stepping outside of the chalet, forcing us to disconnect completely and lap up the seclusion.
The whole experience was a total stress killer and we're already planning our next stay. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Relaxing and stunning retreat
We had the most amazing stay at this property, with the only downside being that we didn't stay longer! Not only are Sam and Lee lovely, friendly people (with the added bonus of very cute dogs), but the property was fantastic for a retreat from city life.
The furnishings are simplistic but natural, relaxing and luxurious, leaving the space feeling much larger than it already is. The wood fire, though tricky to keep alight at times, was amazing to sit by with a glass of wine and a cheese board. The kitchen was so well stocked (and very clean) with any utensil or dish you would require when cooking, and the cooking facilities were clean and with no faults. However, our favourite part of the house was the bathroom with not only a huge shower but also a giant bath(!!!), complete with a stunning woodland view, candles and champagne bucket.
Lastly, the location of the property itself is remote, which may deter some who like having WiFi or at the very least more than a bar of mobile reception available, however we found it refreshing to put our phones away and focus on relaxing and de-stressing, till we went out each day to town (Margaret river being less than a 20 min drive away and with free WiFi). Hence the property really lived up to the "retreat" aspect of its name for us. Overall we found no faults whatsoever with the property, its location and the lovely people who run it and thoroughly recommend visiting this beautiful location for a refreshing and relaxing holiday.

Stock up on supplies before your arrival and get ready to settle into the outdoor spa with a glass of sparkly or in front of the wood fired stove with a good book.
The property is beautifully maintained,very clean ,with a very comfortable bed.it has an outdoor BBQ and well equipped kitchen.
