Shauna's place is gorgeous and even bigger than it looks in photos! We had a party of 12 and we fit comfortably. Lovely kitchen for making breakfast and lunch, plenty of lawn space for tossing a frisbee. Shauna was super communicative. We hope to stay again!

Perfect farm for the kids (and dogs) to run watch the horses, see sheep and enjoy the swing in the front. Spacious kitchen, dining room and living room for our family of 8 plus toddlers. Easy and scenic drive to lakes, parks, Stockbridge and Lenox. Perfect week for everyone in every way.

Gorgeous house with a fantastic open first floor layout - perfect for a large group. We stayed here for three nights for a Butternut ski vacation. Ski area was just 5 minutes away from the house. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen, cozy wood burning fireplace, very comfortable living area, and beautiful setting - it was so nice to be surrounded by horse pastures instead of just a bunch of other houses in a standard neighborhood. Made it feel like more of a real getaway. Property manager was very responsive when we contacted her with questions. (Heated kitchen floor was an unexpected bonus!)

Shauna and Erik's house was perfect for our two family ski weekend. Enough space for everyone to spread out and very well equipped. Convenient to Butternut and Catamount. The kids loved seeing the horses and sheep roam around the property. Would recommend!

The house was beautiful. Our favorite rooms were the kitchen, dining room and family room. The fire place was so warm and cozy. We loved the yard to throw the frisbee and football with the kids and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit .The horses gave it a special farmhouse aura. Perfect location, so close to Butternut and Great Barrington.

Home and property were fantastic. The home was beautiful and everything was as described. The property was exceptional and the all the animals (horses, sheep, chickens, cats) added to the fun for our grandchildren. The owners and caretakers of the horses were wonderful . Everything we wanted to do in the area was convenient. Overall we had a fantastic stay at this property and I would highly recommend it. Communication with the property owner was easy and very friendly.

Everything about our experience staying in the New Marlboro house was outstanding. The house is beautiful, spotless, and in the perfect spot to enjoy all the attractions of the Berkshires, including outdoor activities, cultural venues, and great eating opportunities. In addition, the owner is extraordinarily gracious. We had an absolutely wonderful week thanks to our stay in this New Marlboro house.

This 5 bedroom property was perfect for a family reunion of 9 adults and a toddler. The welcoming committee consisted of two chickens, who seemed to think they are members of the family, and the horses and sheep also provided entertainment. The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for people who like to cook, which was very helpful with a large group.

Stayed on Shaunas property with extended family for a long Easter weekend. The house was clean and accommodated our 3 families perfectly (6 adults 4 children aged 7mos-5yrs). The kitchen and large island was perfect for cooking Easter dinner and gathering together, and the living room was so cozy, especially the big fireplace! I loved the eclectic and unique style of the furnishings and decor and art. The horses on the property were amazing, the kids loved to watch them- just be careful of the electric fencing (she’s fine!). We had a great time exploring the property and the creek across the street, and especially enjoyed all the hiking the area has to offer. We hiked Campbell Falls at the CT/MA border, Bish Bash Falls at the NY/MA border, and Benedict Pond Trail, all within 10-40 minute drive and all very manageable for all ages. The town of Great Barrington looked very cute, however we did not get the chance to explore town much. Shauna was a responsive host and made everything so simple for check in and check out. My only critique was the house advertised a treadmill and eliptical in one of the bedrooms, which we did not find. It wasn’t a big deal for us and we didn’t inquire about it. However, if that is a factor in your booking consideration I’d reach out first to confirm about the exercise equipment. We would highly reccomend a stay at Shaunas property!

We were a family of 10, coming for the weekend. The house accommodated all of us comfortably, and was an open design so that we were always together. The best part was the kitchen, which is gorgeous and equipped with absolutely everything you can think of. The host was delightful and the weekend was perfect!

Perfect friends trip with small children. The property is beautiful and close to orchards, breweries and town. The house is clean and large - plenty of space! We really enjoyed our time!

Large spacious house with air conditioning. Plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen is well stocked with dry goods. If you are allergic to dogs do not stay here. They allow pets and the living room rug smells like it. Lots of cleaning supplies and you will need them to clean the place. Owner did respond while we were staying there.

This is a beautiful, spacious, modern house that is well located near lakes, arts, etc. Great place for a family gathering. The hosts are flexible, friendly, and very helpful.

Very relaxing stay at a great property. The house is well-appointed and owners are very accessible for questions. The location is really great - you feel a bit 'off the grid' but are only 15 minutes from Great Barrington. Great proximity to excellent hiking and biking. I particularly loved Beartown State Forest.

After two days of torrential rain which of course cannot be helped the property proved itself to be perfect for our small family get together along with our 2 dogs. It was great to wake up to horse’s neighing and 2 hens wandering the expansive property. The best thing was the quiet.

This was a great spot to get together for a few days with our kids and grandkids to celebrate a special birthday. It was the first time we had been together for a year so we were mainly focused on hanging out with each other. There was plenty of space in the house and a good yard for the children to play.

The property description and amenities are as advertised. Very inviting kitchen loaded with ample gadgets, cookware, silverware, spices etc. Most of Berkshire is within 25-30 minutes from here. We had quite a bit of rain so spent a lot of time inside the house and thoroughly enjoyed it.

My family and I had a great holiday here! The kitchen was well equipped and great to cook our thanksgiving meal in! We appreciated the gourmet range for sure. The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. The kids loved exploring the farm and hiking around the area. We got take out for dinner on Friday from the Barrington Brewery 10 minutes away, very good! The only issue was the WiFi, which probably wouldn’t have even been an issue if the weather was better during our trip- we had rain and cold the majority of our stay. Shauna was a great host with a great house. We will definitely stay again!

Needed a new environment to work at home due to covid-19. House is beautiful, clean and very welcoming. A few issues, but the owner was right there communicating with us to help resolve some things. We were there during the storm/hurricane and lost electricity overnight as did everyone else. Playing games with candlelight was fine. I look forward to going back at some point. The horses, sheep,chickens and cats made it even more ideal.

This house was spacious and had everything we needed for an amazing weekend away. The kitchen had everything we needed, the lawn was huge and we were able to play lawn games and grill outside. The cats on the property were so friendly, Biggie Smalls hung out with us on the back deck while we did morning yoga. We stayed during a heat wave and the downstairs air system worked, but never quite seemed to blow cold air. But we talked to the property owner and she was able to help us get it circulating air, which helped. If you stay on a clear night, definitely spend some time outside, we saw the milky way and several shooting stars! Will definitely be wanting to stay here again soon.

Our family had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful mini farm for the month of June. We are animals lovers and got spoiled getting to see horses, sheep and eating fresh eggs from the chickens everyday! Shauna is a warm host and was always reachable and responsive to any questions we had. The house was clean and as represented in the pictures. It’s 15 mins to downtown Great Barrington and there are many delicious restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our time and would recommend staying at this house, especially if you have children who love animals. We are all missing the house and our experience and would love to go back!

We came as three families to Great Barrington to ski Butternut with our young children. This house was exactly as advertised and more! It was spacious and roomy and the fully appointed kitchen had ample room for 12 of us to sit and eat (kids around the bar and adults around the table). As three families, all of whom enjoy cooking, we found the kitchen not only spacious but well equipped and easy to work in. The house is 10 minutes from Butternut. As someone who has rented many homes near mountains and been snowed in on vacations forced to face tricky weather, we were excited to see that this house has a flat driveway! When we had questions, Shauna responded almost immediately either via email or text. She is a gracious "host" and we appreciated her quick responses. While most of our time during our 3 day stay was spent on the mountain, the horses and barn animals were a lovely treat for our children to look at and talk about. We hope to come back again!

We had a group of 9 staying here and the house fit us all very comfortably! The house is well equipped and the horses were a lovely extra touch. Just a warning that the wifi was not very strong/reliable, especially with a big number of people all trying to access it. We also had some challenges regulating the heat -- some rooms were really hot and some were sort of chilly. But overall we loved our stay, and the location was easy for us to get to surrounding towns.

Great property. House was clean and modern with a nice open kitchen. The horses and sheep were a highlight for everyone. The surrounding fenced fields make the stream harder to access than expected. Great country setting with nearby hiking and brewery's.

The house was spacious, clean and modern - perfect for our group - and the property was very close to Ski Butternut and downtown Great Barrington.

We had the best time at this house! Very comfortable and spacious. We loved to hang out in the large and well equipped kitchen as we cooked our meals. Lots of windows all around the house. It was so nice to look at the fields and the horses. The kids had a great time outside, running around and playing in the snow. The house was very clean, organized, and had all we needed to make our stay pleasant. Overall a great experience, we highly recommend for a family/friends stay. We'll be back!

Very comfortable house with one of the best kitchens so far (and we have been renting in the Berkshires and VT for our Thanksgiving family get together for 25 years!). Some rental homes have so little furniture it's hard to get comfortable in the living room (perching on old sofas or moving hardbacked chairs into the room). But this house had a nicely furnished living room with a big fireplace. We were all able to either read or play games (either on the game table or by the fire) together. All and all this was an excellent home, comfortable, good location, outstanding kitchen, very CLEAN. Only suggestion is another reading lamp in the living room (we are a family of readers).

Our son got married at Cantina 229, 3 miles from the house. This was the perfect house for the immediate family, spacious, and lovely setting. It was great to wake up and hear the horses in the morning.

We stayed for a long weekend with adult kids and grandchild. This home checked off all the boxes: clean, attractive, spacious, exceptionally comfortable and well-equipped. Shauna could not have been a better host. We highly recommend this rental.
