Cette cabane au bord du lac a un excellent accès au lac et est à une courte distance en voiture du rafting, du vélo, de la tyrolienne, de Cherokee, de Bryson City et de Robbinsville. Vous avez votre propre section privée du quai. Regardez les bateaux passer depuis notre grand pont ou tout en vous relaxant dans le bain à remous. Apportez votre bateau! Pendant l'été, vous pouvez l'installer à côté de notre quai et l'attacher immédiatement. Pas de gaspillage tout l'après-midi à chercher un bateau pour se mettre à l'eau.

We enjoyed the deck looking out over Lake Fontana for hours! Quiet & peaceful with very little boat traffic. The house was convenient to rafting the Nantahala, visits to Bryson City, & site seeing in the Smokies. This was a great retreat for our family. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Great Family Gathering place. Lots of room. Easy to contain 4 children from 1 -10 years old. Easy to communicate with the owners. Close to the grocery store and lots of activities. Loved the easy access to lake via golf cart.

This property is nice and secluded with beautiful views of lake Fontana. We enjoyed our stay there overall, but the home and the hot tub are both in desperate need of a deep clean. We also had difficulty accessing the dock which was about 20+ feet away from the shore and had not been pulled in for guest access. We contacted the property manager who then called the marina to come reel it in for us. Good place for a quiet, calm getaway, but we were somewhat disappointed by the state of the property.

We enjoyed our stay on Lake Fontana! The kayaks were fun and the hot tub was relaxing. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The property manager was available for any questions we had. We would stay here again, and would bring our kids next time.

Great house on Fontana Lake. It was well stocked with household items including paper towels, toilet tissue, laundry detergent, garbage bags etc. I have stayed at houses where these items did not exist or were minimal. Kitchen was well stocked and house had plenty of seating inside and outside. Very comfortable beds and I loved that it was 2 Kings and then a room with 2 queens. Not a large or fancy house but very comfortable with a wonderful deck area and gorgeous view. Dock area was very nice and we did use a boat for the lake from there which was really nice. We had something come up on our original dates and we were able to change our dates to another available week. We would definitely rent this house again.

Our family enjoyed our long weekend away in the mountains. The cabin was well equipped, spacious, and in a peaceful, beautiful setting. Our kids loved the kayaks and board games and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was amazing and was exactly what it was depicted online. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful with recommendations for restaurants. We are definitely looking to visit again soon!

Enjoyed the deck! Beautiful beautiful Lake.
All in all it was a nice stay. This house is down a gravel road. Unfortunately, the housekeeper was still cleaning when we arrived at check-in time. We came back an hour later and she was still not done but almost so we started unpacking our things. Access to the house is easy.
The deck is wonderful. It has a great view of the lake below and has plenty of seating and dining area. The grill was in good shape. The master bedroom and bath was a nice size. The bed was comfortable enough but I thought the sheets and towels smelled a bit musty. There were very few hangars available. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.
Unfortunately, we could not use the boat ramp. There is a considerable hill to get to the dock and ramp and we did not feel comfortable navigating it with just a regular pickup truck. It’s gravel and steep and there were a few ruts. The “ramp” itself is not concrete and there was some debris we would have had to clear away. Given all these negatives, we opted against unloading our boat there. Good thing because just taking the boat back up the hill from the house we had to gun the truck to make it up the hill.
The dock itself was in decent shape, with lots of chairs bolted down on it. Having use of the golf cart was great. It made it so much easier to go back and forth to our boat at the dock.
We didn’t have any communication with the owner so I can’t comment on that.
The lake is absolutely beautiful! We found a few places we could tie the boat up and hike - and we found a waterfall we could sit by on the boat. With the mountains surrounding you, it's just stunning.

We arrived at night and had a hard time finding 25 Oakleaf. We need a sign at the top of the hill at the Y. Had a great time, easy location to Bryson City and Gatlinburg, Tn. Would stay again!!

Thanksgiving Getaway
This house was amazing. The views of the lake and mountain were awesome. Lots of glass to see the beautiful outdoors. We prepared Thanksgiving there and the kitchen was better equipped than I could ever expected. We had a small issue that didn't affect the house but George came and corrected the issue on the holiday weekend. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. It was easy and wonderful vacation.

The View
Definitely a house with a view, we loved being on the porch and in the hot tub!! George took all things mentioned to him and responded right away with fixing them or relaying to his cleaning staff!! The dock, fire pits and kayaks were absolutely amazing and the golf cart to get down to them!! Make sure you check on water level in the area in the winter months but it is still so beautiful even as it is lowered!! We will definitely come back again!!

Lovely and relaxing!
We are so glad that we chose this place! It was spacious, clean, and the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked. We enjoyed having the golf cart to take things to the private dock and spent most of our time there. We were able to dock our boat also and that section of the lake is lovely. We certainly plan on returning!

We loved staying on Fontana lake, wonderful property, great location! The jacuzzi was wonderful to come back to each night, loved having the dock, the kayaks and having my morning coffee on the deck!! Would definitely recommend!

Great secluded property with a cliff view of the lake
This was perfect for our long weekend family vacation. The house was clean and tastefully appointed - with some nice touches like board games and the golf cart. The kitchen had everything we needed, we cooked all our meals. You can take a short stroll among neighboring houses, but you will need to drive 15+ minutes to get groceries etc ...

Amazing views and lots of outdoor space
We were four adults and one teen and had plenty of space in this house. The outdoor deck is amazing and the photos don’t do the size justice. George was excellent to work with and answered all questions right away! It is important to note that you must take all of your trash with you when you leave, and the dump site is several miles away. If this was in the description of the house, I missed it. If it’s not in there, it should be added because upon leaving it could take someone 20 minutes in the wrong travel direction.

A great quiet spot on Fontana Lake
The property was perfect for our family of four (son 10, daughter 4). We had plenty of room and the property has everything you need to enjoy the lake, including dock access for a boat. This was our first trip to Fontana Lake and it was absolutely beautiful and the location on the lake wS perfect. The golf cart and kayaks were. Great bonus that we didn’t expect. George the owner immediately called me when my gps had trouble locating the exact house (which we found easily with his directions). Do not hesitate to book this property as I imagine it will always be a top spot on Fontana Lake.

Summer vacation on Fontana Lake
We loved our stay here! The location is gorgeous and we especially loved the huge wrap around deck. Fabulous to sit, day or evening. Half covered so you can even cool off enjoying a good downpour and thunderstorm sipping a glass of wine on the deck. The house was clean and nicely furnished, beds were very comfortable and that's always a big plus for us. I don't really have serious criticism. It could use a few upgrades but nothing that hindered the enjoyment of our stay there. Golf cart comes in really handy as the way down to the Lake was a bit slick due to the rain and here and there a bit steep. Even my 80 year old in-laws could enjoy soaking up the sun on the dock. Recommend it!

Location, location, location! Envy of the neighborhood! This was one of the best, most relaxing vacations our family has been on. The house was clean, beds comfortable, and we had everything we needed! We will definately be booking at this lake house in the future, as long as it is available!
