This is the third time my family has stayed here at Pine Place, and we have every reason to keep coming back. The location in the village is outstanding and the unit layout is comfortable and well suited for our family. Peggy is a great host who communicates well, has great recommendations for things to do, and truly cares about ensuring we have a great stay in Lake Placid. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back next year!

This is the 3rd of 4th time we have stayed. We intend to book again next year. We love this property. Comfy beds, great location, lovely flat snd great host. Couldn’t be better.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay here at Pine Place in Lake Placid. The apartment was so cozy and comfortable; it was beautifully decorated, very clean and supplied with just about everything you could possibly need. Peggy, the host, was very kind, responsive, and was a pleasure to do business with. We will definitely be going back to this wonderful serene place!

My husband and I completed our New England fall foliage tour with 4 nights at Pine Place in Lake Placid. It was AMAZING! The house felt Like a quaint cabin and was walkable to the many shops and restaurants on Mirror Lake as well as the Olympic Center, and drivable to incredible hikes. The owner visited us on arrival and provided excellent suggestions for where to eat and hike which were spot on. We hope to return and stay here again!! Highly recommend.

Great, cozy location in Lake Placid. Nice living space for 6 of us and a couple more visitors to celebrate daughter’s engagement. Would have walked to Main Street but hill and 16 mile hike left us too little in legs.

Good place to stay for skiing and walking to restaurants and bars

The homeowner thought of every detail. The home was cozy, well-equipped and a lovely setting for a weekend in Lake Placid. The location is ideal, as it is within walking distance to downtown but is on a quiet street, surrounded by trees.

We loved the house and its location. Short walk to many local attractions, and a short drive to the rest of them. Peggy is a great host. She greeted us with a details overview of all the things that Lake Placid has to offer, which was very appreciated and helpful. We are definitely looking forward to returning to Lake Placid and staying at Pine Place again. Thank YOU!!!

This is our 3rd trip to Lake t Placid. . Peggy’s place is ideally located for all the things we like to do. We are 20 minutes from Whiteface as well as 20 minutes from the Nordic centers. Main Street is less then 5 minutes by car & is a gem. The apartment feels like home. Already booked for next year!!!!

This property worked great for our several day stay for cross country skiing. In a quiet neighborhood, downtown is within walking distance but it is also easy to get out without town traffic. Many pluses and only one negative. The apartment comes very well equipped. Nothing has been overlooked in the kitchen, bedrooms, storage, comfort, etc. Nicely decorated and plenty of room for four. A unique plus for us was the gas fireplace. The owner lives nearby and it was great to have a face-to-face relationship (very personable, conscientious, eager to assist or advise). The only pause was the pricing policy, which, admittedly, is a personal preference. We appreciate an advertised price that covers the cost. At the price this property was advertised it also said it could sleep six. But at checkout we were charged significantly extra because we were four people, not two. There was also a non-refund policy (standard or time-unique?) that caused us to hesitate. But, all said the positives way out weigh any personal preferences and we had a wonderful time. We would recommend this place and next year may well see us returning.

Spent a lovely few days at Pine Place while we attended events at the World University games. Pine Place was perfect for us - a clean, well-equipped unit within walking distance (or an easy drive) of all that Lake Placid has to offer. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again in the future!

We loved the large open living room area. Rooms are not that big but just what you need for sleep and storage. Very quiet street. Very close to main street and mirror lake. Easy check in, Peg had the house open before our arrival. House has everything you need just like home.

I've stayed at dozens of VRBO places and Peggy's place is up there with the best of the best. Very clean when we got there, and conveniently located a few minutes walk from downtown Lake Placid but still very quiet and peaceful. Lots of parking and conveniently close to a semi-arterial road but, as I said, very quiet. Best of all, though, was how well equipped the apartment was, it had absolutely everything we needed for the four days we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and more, all the dishes, utensils, etc. that I can imagine ever needing. There was lots of extra bed linen and towels, soap, shampoo, etc. plus some very thoughtful touches, e.g. a USB charging plug on the bedside table in the master bedroom. I don't think I've every stayed in a place that was as well equipped. We really liked the decor in the apartment, pictures, skis, etc. representative on the many activities available in that area. Chairs, beds, etc. were very comfortable. And Peggy was great, too, friendly and accessible and responsive and helpful. And knowing that we'd be bringing bicycles that we didn't want to leave outside, she set things up such that we could store them inside, such a helpful and thoughtful touch. And speaking of bicycles, that big jacuzzi bath tub was just what the doctor ordered after some challenging rides! All in all, a superior rental experience, I absolutely recommend it. Hope to be back sooner rather than later!

Stayed at Peggy’s lovely home for a weekend of hiking. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and a short walk to the Main Street. Peggy was a wonderful host and reached out prior to our stay with hiking suggestions. Would return in a heartbeat!

This our second stay at Pine Place (we stayed for 5 nights last August as well) and we had another great experience. Location is fantastic, host is friendly and communicative, and the property itself is clean and well-suited for our family. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others!

This property is great. Check-in was easy and communicate fast and accurate. The house is within walking distance from all the shops and restaurants (5-10 minute, depends on your pace). The house had everything you need, clean and cozy. Overall strongly recommend to all, visiting the Lake Placid.

Property is awesome - Peggy helped us with our hiking adventure. I completed 2 more peaks of the 46'ers and my daughter completed 5 peaks - had a wonderful time and perfect weather!

Lovely large living room with great Adirondack decor. Great facilities, good blinds for a good nights sleep. We had a great time here and will definitely come back when we return to lake placid. Peggy was great- couldn’t be better in all counts.

We just enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Peggy’s property. Very clean and all the small accommodations were there. Good communication and no down side at all. She even helped recommend additional cross country ski areas which worked out great. I highly recommend this property.

Coming here is the best!!!! We stayed here in Aug 2020 and returned this past weekend Jan, 2020. Both winter and summer seasons have many activities to offer. Already booked our trip for next year for Feb. Can’t wait!!!! Planning activities already!!!! Accommodations are clean, comfortable, & feels like home!!!! The fireplace was really safe and easy to use!!!!!

My family of four (two adults; two teens) had a great stay at this property. It was very well stocked and the location near town was convenient to walk. The owner, Peggy, was attentive, welcoming, and easy to work with. She really tried to think of everything to make the stay pleasant! I would recommend this property to others and stay again.

The rental process was easy, communication with the host was clear and concise. The house was exactly as advertised, close to everything we wanted to do. The house was spotless and well equipped with everything you could need. Check in and out process was efficient. Would definitely stay here again.
