We loved our stay at the cozy cottage. There are many amenities we were able to enjoy during our stay. The lake beach and pools were clean and nice and there were many places to fish.

Everything we needed. Great place and great area. My grandkids had the best time! Enjoyed our stay!!!! Will be back!

Easy to find on Google . Info of closest town if needed anything etc. Great place to rent. Fireplace was good too.

The host was lovely and communicative. The place was very rundown. Has not been improved for many many years. Left early.

The house is clean and cozy. It has everything you might need for a short getaway or a longer stay. We did enjoy the fireplace and BBQ grill on a terrace. Mattresses are comfortable and give you a good sleep.

We were in the area to ride the rails to trails. The house had a very worn feel. The screen door fell off the hinges as we opened it to enter for the first time. The only light on the second floor was broken. We reported it and Gail came right over to address the issues. The community was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the deer joining us at the fire ring in the evening.

A cozy cottage indeed! Gail was very communicative, and the community amenities were lovely. House has all the essentials as well as a grill, fire pit, and fairly ample parking to take advantage of. WiFi slowed down a bit with multiple devices, but the area has good cell service. Great host and a cute, rustic house!

Place was clean. Overall it is dated. Needs maintenance to update the cottage. Dinning area window has a leak. From inside the right upper corner. Roof is damaged just above the window. We arrived during a storm and we saw the water inside.

To say we were disappointed is an understatement. I'm not sure I could find the words to accurately describe the level of disgust and dicomfort. We arrived late on a Friday night after 5 hours on the road, and the outside of the house looked promising. Upon entering we were greeted with a screen door falling off the hinges and old, dirty, and very used furnishings. The kitchen utensils and cookware were bent, scratched, and warped. There was not a paper product in sight (except toilet paper), and a couple stained and ripped dish towels. I can say that the refrigerator and sink were clean, and the bedrooms were neat and tidy. However, the floors throughout were gritty under our feet. In the dark bathroom hung one lone towel, and the tub had a stained sopping wet mat in it. I know for the price we weren't getting a 5 star resort, but I at least expected a clean home from this decade. We left and returned home the following morning. So grateful that we packed our own clean blankets and towels to make it through the night.

Nice and quiet. Beautiful with the snow. Saw plenty of deer. Not a whole lot to do during winter months, a lot of places closed.

We stayed for Christmas for Christmas and it was the best decision.. Beautiful scenes, wonderful wonderful home, great fireplace.. And the area couldn't it be any better!! Thank you Gail.

Host had great communication. The house is cozy and comfortable. The appliances are dated but work well. This is our 3rd year staying at this property and really love it.

Recommend this cute cozy cabin. Owner was accommodating and area was pleasant. Will definitely come back in Spring or Summer when more attractions are open.

I met Gail briefly when we went to use the boats. She was very nice. The property itself had pros and cons. It wasn’t exceptionally clean, especially given the cost of the cleaning fee. It was run down in general, which was a suspicion I had from the pictures. But based on the price and the other rentals in WLE I assumed it’d be nicer in person, just out dated/not trendily decorated. It was basically a rustic cabin. It was to come with linens but only had 5 wash clothes for 2 night stay for 7 people. There was very limited kitchen supplies. A pro was the beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets. The house and some of the blankets smelled a little of must. The other drawback is we chose this rental because it was listed to have boats and indoor pool and clubhouse access but most of those things had VERY limited hours and we couldn’t use them during our stay. The boats were nice but we had to put them in and out of the water- this could be a seasonal issue but we did check before renting that they would be available. Overall Gail seemed nice but I feel obliged to share some of this info because I wish it had been available to me when I researched which home to rent.

First Id like to thank Gail for letting me rent her Cozy Cottage which it is Very Cozy!!! Communication was great. Gail leaves a binder on the kitchen table with everything you need to know. Cottage was clean and it is very peaceful for a nice escape in the woods. Restaurants and supermarkets are about 10 minute drive away which was easy. Plenty to do if you want. I recommend Claws and Paws to visit. Cottage has all the channels you want if you love your TV shows and my dogs loved the deer walking around the area and in the backyard. Overall it was just a nice get away for me and my dogs and i will sure to return next summer. Thank you Gail

Great cabin rental -- a perfect ending to our summer vacation! It was neat, cozy, and comfortable, and Gail was a friendly and attentive host who responded promptly to my questions. Hopefully next time we can stay long enough to enjoy some canoeing and swimming on the beautiful lake.

I had built a home & sold it years ago in WLE. I love it there. The house was just what size expected. Comfortable & Clean. We swam in Beaver Lake & relaxed on the deck. Will definitely return.

This is our second July staying at Cozy Cottage in WLE. We have been coming to this area for 30 years, starting when our kids were very young, and now just us. This little house in the woods is perfect for us!

We greatly enjoyed our visit. The hosts were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The home is on a beautiful property and had everything we needed.

A little smaller then i expected but comfortable it was just what we needed. We had one little issue with a leak that was addressed very quickly. We spent a lot of time out on the deck very quiet. House was clean and so much was provided from dishes to board games. (which were used bc of weather). To be able to bring our dogs specificity bully breeds was awesome. They enjoyed it as much as we did. Lots to do if the weather cooperates and will book here again.
