Location was perfect! Very peaceful lots of fun things to do and convenient to everything. I really enjoyed the environment,vacation vibe with a downhome feel.I cant wait to come back! "Living On the Island" truly lived up to its name! Thank you Carl & Lisa!

We enjoyed our visit at the cottage. It was comfortable for a weekend. It could use some minor repairs.

The cupboards and dishes were not clean. We had to clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, appliances and cupboards upon arrival.
The shower curtain was about three inches too short which allowed water to flow out of the shower unless the user wrapped it around themselves. There was a crack in the shower floor and the bathroom faucet leaked,
There were large dust accumulations throughout and the windows were all dirty. A small upright vacuum and a decent mop would benefit long term guests. There is a gap below the rear door which allows access for insects.

No TV for 5 days,we normally watch am and pm news,folks replaced the Dish remote but still no luck,called called the guy never called or come back.Bed,mattress needs to be replaced,we rolled to middle of the bed,we are not large or fat folks.Toilet is too low for old folks,dangerous sitting and tough getting up.Every thing else nice including the grassy areas to walk our puppies,overall location,overall quiet.Next visit we'll give u a call to see if available just not cabin 1

Remember that it’s a cottage so basic accommodations and small. (It could be nicer, in my opinion, with paint touch up’s and attention to details.)
We experienced weak wifi if that’s a must in your life.
Like others have said, it’s walking distance to the bay and lots of restaurant choices. A very short drive to a clean cheery laundromat. Active pickleball community in Rockport just minutes away. Great golf course about 30 minutes away ( Northshore) that offers short term memberships.
Host always very prompt in responding.

Cute cottage, great location
Overall we had a great stay, the cottage was a great size for two of us. The location is close to great restaurants and a short drive to the rest of town. Parking has the potential to get tight but most of the time it was okay. Carl was super responsive when we had questions which was greatly appreciated! Nice place to settle while in town.

Perfect vacation spot
My wife and I stayed for a quick weekend get away. It is the perfect place for a couple to relax and escape. We weren’t at the house a whole lot because we wanted to explore but we were able to come and go without disturbing anyone or being disturbed. Will come back.

A great getaway!
Our cabin was within quick walking distance to everything in Fulton. Cabins were clean and had everything we needed during our five day stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Cute.. not terrible but not great
This is a very simple place. Bed wasn’t too comfortable. Way too many dishes/pots/pans for the size of property. No hair dryer or dust pan but there was a iron? Pull out couch could be updated as well. On the positive side it was dog friendly and affordable and conveniently located. Easy to walk the dogs and get coffee at the cute little coffee shop.

Great Christmas Stay
We stayed here because my parents had rented one of the other cabins for an extended winter stay. It was great to get to spend time with them for Christmas. The cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was very well appointed and was actually bigger than we had expected from the pictures. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.

Cozy place
I had some trouble with the renting at the beginning but the owner communicated with me well and was able to fix everything. The place was very cozy no issues on the cleanliness of the place. We hardly were in the hoke but the little time we were there we enjoyed. My only suggestion would be getting a thicker mattress for the pullout couch it was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that great peaceful place

Very Nice for what we needed. I would suggesting having a working fan. The one in the room did not have a power cord. But other than that, it was very nice.

2 1/2 month stay and loved every minute
I lived here for 2 1/2 months while I looked for a house to buy or rent. I loved the neighbors, the neighborhood, the night life, the friendliness of other guests! I loved the people the worked on the property. I got to know them and the owners were very responsive when there were any issues. I made lifelong friends and will forever remember my 2 1/2 months here! It was the best!!!!

A perfect place to stay for the weekend. Although my only issue was there was food left on the utensils and the bathroom was a tad small. We loved the cottage other than that!

This was a very nice little place for the two of us. It had all we needed and it’s location was perfect and very centralized. We enjoyed our stay!

Relaxed
Great location, very quiet. I was very relaxed. Room was nice and clean, bed was very soft. Bathroom is very small, but that can’t be helped in the layout. Don’t expect it to get COLD, the little AC did the best it could. I was always cool-ish but during the summer heat, just don’t expect an ice cold room. I will stay here again.

Great value for monthly stay
We have stayed here for a month now 4 different years. Always enjoy the Rockport-Fulton area and our cottage. When we are not exploring the area, we like to sit on the deck and visit with other guests. WIFI system is great. Talking to other tourists we meet when out and about, there are a lot of complaints about weak signals, etc.

Friendly community
I enjoyed my time in the area, but it had nothing to do with the cottage. It is run down and dirty.
On the plus side, it's inexpensive and convenient to the water front and restaurants.
