Beautiful property and staff was very friendly

The WORST experience of my life. I got the recommendation from the Michelin Guide for Hotels so I thought it was a charm & clean place.
After a 12 hours flight I was chocked to see some BED BUGS in my bed. It was more than midnight when I noticed the bugs and it was a completed mess - luckily I founded a last minute clean hotel in downtown Austin, but unfortunately I had to drive 45min until there and paid a high rate.
I spoke with the person in the front desk at Ruby, and the guy was sorry and offered me another room. I didn’t accepted another room and received 100% of refund after a few days.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The room is a good size and there is a nice view of the river from the balcony. You can walk to several bars and restaurants yet the hotel is extremely quiet and peaceful.

Very comfortable bedding and beautiful view on the creek. Large room with balcony, Fun and different decor. Very close to restaurants.

Get the corner balcony king room with private balcony overlooking cows on the opposite bank and Brushy Creek herons and egrets. Bring your birding binoculars. Brushy Creek trail within walking distance for a pleasant nature walk. Also within walking distance is historic Round Rock downtown with RR Donuts - download walking guide from RR's municipal website to see the sights. Hotel is situated within quiet and old time RR residential neighborhood that is a slice of 1940s Americana.
Shower lines with pink tiles has slippery floor. Cocktails and wine were decent but hotel's food was average. Lack of sophisticated restaurants nearby - you have to drive to Austin. Open plan hotel in modern concrete is well-ventilated but can get quite cold if there is an icy snap - dress accordingly.

The door did not latch properly, and took a while to get closed.

Quiet, extremely comfortable, well appointed with a gorgeous view of a beautiful full moon from the balcony overlooking Brushy Creek. The best kept secret in Round Rock, Texas. Not to be missed!

I had ROACHES in the room!! The manager was not pleasant but very condescending, and answered with a "ya, you can call booking and handle that" Mayra could care less!! . She said they have Booking.com blocked to not answer their calls. She never called me back when I was trying to get a refund. Booking Rep called and never had The Ruby Hotel answer their calls either. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND DESIRE TO HELP FROM MAYRA THE MANAGER. I managed to kill 1 of the 4 that were in the bed....GROSS!!!!

on the creek, beautiful views! staff is GREAT, rooms and overall design of this place, simply fantastic(especially if you love mid-century modern).
the pool needs a little more attention to maintain clear water. hard to do in the heat and with all of the pollen!

The bar and restaurant exceeded my expectations. If I lived in Round Rock, I'd go there with close friends often. The pool was the right size for the space. Kept us cool in the heat of the day.
