We take our dog on a 2 week vacation every year, this year he chose San Jaun Island. The ease of being right in town and close to Sunken Park and the water front was perfect. Most restaurants being dog friendly is also a plus. We found multiple places to hike and enjoy the scenery… It was an awesome 2 weeks!!!

Really easy to get to and from the ferry terminal, as well as other destinations within Friday Harbor. Being so close to the port, it's a bit noisy at times as folks are going about their early morning deliveries.
It is very walkable and spacious, I would stay here again.

This rental was very clean, with beautiful amenities throughout. The location is wonderful in downtown Friday Harbor allowing you to walk to most places you want to go, however, there is one big problem... I urge you to read the listing VERY carefully.It is advertised as sleeping 4 people, however, there is a large king bed to sleep 2 adults comfortably and the only other sleeping arrangement is a blowup mattress that must be only full-size because my teenaged son and I had to share that mattress, and although it was as comfortable as an air mattress can get, it was not large enough for 2 adults (my son is basically adult-sized). I paid a lot for this rental, which was quite expensive, and I would’ve appreciated knowing that the air mattress was not going to be large enough for 2 normal-sized adults.The other thing you should know is that the quarters are very close together and must not have great insulation in between the walls because there was a noise complaint by someone next to us when 2 of my teen girls were watching a movie. They claimed we were having a “party”. And these 2 teenage girls are bookworms, honors students (not typically loud teens). It was a very strange complaint to receive because they are usually very quiet. So I think them just talking & laughing about the movie must have been loud to the neighbors. Just be aware that you need to be fairly quiet here.I do not recommend bringing 4 people, like it says you can, unless 2 of them are small children to sleep on the air mattress. It was a big disappointment for us immediately.Would not rent this place again (for 4 people).

I took myself away for my birthday to the islands. The conservatory was a perfect getaway. In town close to restaurants and stores, quiet enough to feel like you were all alone. The room was large and clean,and the jet tub was the star of the show. I was lucky enough to see the wild fox out at near American Camp every day and took them up on the 15% off whale watch trip. We were on a family of orcas within 15 min of the harbor and spent the next 3 hours with them. All in all it was a wonderful birthday getaway.

Instructions were super clear. Loved the smell of lavender from business next door when going thru main entry. All condos are upstairs. Ferry traffic noise was really not an issue. Would hear a truck engine now & again, but not that noticeable. Great set up & space, very convenient.

This is our second time staying at this property (two different units) and we have really enjoyed it both times! The only downfalls we’ve experienced are that parking is very tight and we don’t love the glass block between the bathroom and the living space (it lights up the bedroom if anyone turns on the bathroom light in the morning or evening), but other than that the space is perfection! And those two issues aren’t enough to keep us from coming back. The cleanliness, large open space, and excellent location more than outweigh those minor inconveniences. We couldn’t recommend this place more, it’s wonderful!

We loved our stay on Friday Harbour! We arrived by boat and were so happy it was an easy walk from the marina. Perfectly central location, steps away from the market, shops and restaurants. The condo was very clean and comfortable. With the exception of salt and pepper and coffee packages, there are no other cooking staples in the kitchen, so come prepared.

My wife and I had never heard of Friday Harbor until a friend mentioned it a month ago. The friend made the vacation too good to be true. We decided to book a last minute vacation, and it ended up being our second favorite trip of our 35 years together.
The apartment was within a block of walking off of the ferry, a few minute walk from the harbor, great food, rental e-bikes just across the street and delicious ice cream next door. Our only critique is that the queue for the ferry begins right out the front of the property at 5 a.m. each morning. Made for some early wake ups, but once the ferry was loaded it was back to bed for a couple more hours of sleep.
The apartment is beautiful. The king bed is firm but very comfortable. We loved having a full kitchen, washer/dryer, gas stove in the front room and a nice full bath with shower and jetted tub.
We would stay here again on future visits to the beautiful island. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Found this condo after looking eveywhere else. Great find. Walkable to everything which was excellent as we came by boat. Well furnished, spacious and comfortable. Very user friendly kitchen (Market is about a block away) with all the appropriate dishes, pots and pans. As added perks there's an ice cream shop below and the brewery is a couple of blocks away ;-)

This was perfect for the 3 of us that stayed at this location. The air mattress worked fine for our teenager. Super close to ferries and seaplanes and in the middle of town. It’s a huge room and so much more comfortable than a regular hotel room.

Perfect Location
My wife and I stayed for six nights on a working vacation. Location is fantastic, right in the heart of Friday Harbor. We really enjoyed the shops and restaurants in the area and started to almost feel like locals by the end of our stay. Although in the hert of town, the unit was quiet enough to sleep well and to work, with a good wifi connection.

The conservatory was the perfect spot for us to stay as we worked on our property on the island. Spacious, well appointed, and right next to the ferry line up making access on and off the ferry a breeze. Situated right downtown, restaurants and grocery are easily within walking distance. The room was plenty big for my husband and I and our bulldog who enjoyed his time on the balcony in the sunshine. We will use this property again as we oversee the building process of our new home.
