Everything about this cabin was amazing. The location was perfect for visiting Yellowstone and it had amazing views at the cabin. The host was phenomenal and couldn’t have asked for anything else.

No problems at all. And mentioned we were out of firewood for outdoor fire. They stocked us up before we returned home from fishing. Very responsive!

Beautiful cabin beautiful scenery would stay here again

No TV upstairs, no hand rail leading into the house. Wasn’t great for elderly parents trying to get in and around. Not enough pillow cases for pillows. Bathroom tiles missing in the shower. Didn’t seem like the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed.

Lovely home, fabulous location and quiet stay. Deer passing through the property accompany the spring birds' songs. High-tech lights, fans, outlets and heating provided some challenges, but were quickly resolved with great communication with the host.

Overall it worked great. We found cat/dog food in the kitchen drawers upon arriving, and crumbs of all sorts stored in the couch cushions. The double doors were a little tricky to deal with, but we figured it out. The biggest complaint is that there were so many mice. Every night they were coming out of the walls and running around the house. We could hear them working away in the walls at night. It made it hard for many of our party to feel comfortable sleeping anywhere in the house because there were mice spotted in every bedroom and bathroom. There were no mouse traps to be found so if you are bothered by the mice then I suggest not staying here OR bring your own set of mouse traps and peanut butter! Otherwise it was an okay place and worked okay for what we needed.

Location was amazing! Million dollar views. Beautiful home. Large enough for all of us. Just a few items that need to be addressed by owner. There was literally 5 drops of dish soap, only 1 dishwasher pod. The door on the fridge has a malfunction that makes it diffucult to close. The locks on the doors are extremely confusing. The kig room bathtub drain needs to be looked at, it drains super slow. We werent anle to enjoy the firepit or the horseshoe pits out back because the weeds were too tall. In all fairness. There has been a lot of rain lately. The one thing we thought was unfair was that we were required to take all our trash to the dump. Which is about 15 miles away. And a minium of $3.00. I believe that should be included in our stay. Also needs to be checked. The toilets in both upstairs bathrooms run constantly, you have to make sure to jiggle the handle or it wont stop. On a more positive note. There were plenty of things to do. Basement well stocked with movies, games, and fun things to do. Plenty of bedding and towels. It truly was a beautuful place to stay and I would recommend it.

Overall the place was really roomy. I felt like the picture didn't do it justice. It was a really nice cabin. It was well stocked. The kitchen was great! The beds were really comfortable. The game area for the kids was amazing as well. We even used the fire pit in the back and they had plenty of wood for us to use. But the longer we stayed there, the more we noticed that things were broken or not working. Some windows didn't open and they had tape holding them up. Tiles in some of the bathrooms were broken. The doors had a really hard time staying closed. We did enjoy our stay. These things are minor, but overall it was a great place to stay for 5 days.

Better than expected. We stayed here over Christmas with our family and close friends. Plenty of room for both families and kids to play in and around the property. We were able to watch the kids ride snowmobiles around the property during the day and play games in the cabin at night. It was -27 degrees the night we arrived and the property owners made sure the house was warm and the fires going. Previous reviews state issues with a few minor things but we found no issues with the cabin. Doors work great you just have know how to use them... I would not hesitate to stay here again and look forward to another vacation next year.

This cabin is a really great place to stay with a large group of people. The view is spectacular and Yellowstone is only a short drive away. We had a lot of fun during our stay. However there are some major issues we ran into and would not come back unless certain issues were addressed. Safety Smoke detectors with missing batteries or no detector all together. The laundry room has open switch panels with exposed wiring. The door locks are confusing and are all secured by bungee cords. Likely because people can’t figure them out and the wind blows the doors open. When the water pump failed, it filled the laundry room with a delectable burning plastic smell. The bunk-room smelled like damp mildew and the window is broken. Not ideal for people with mold allergies. We got around it by using the many fans provided. Rodents We found a single mouse in the kitchen and downstairs. He was very cute, we named him Washburn after Mount Washburn, I highly doubt other parties would feel the same way about a mouse in the house. There were mouse traps in the Boiler room but they were not set. [4:58 PM] Water We got a call right before arrival about a lack of hot water, only to discover upon arrival that there was hot water? Then suddenly on our first morning there was no water at all. The owners were responsive and sent someone out to fix it multiple times. However we still had water issues until our last full day there. It took a lot of our time and energy to work around that. Lighting The lights in this house are controlled by a very outdated and proprietary computer system, It took us an entire evening just to figure out how to turn everything on and off. It was a bit of a funny challenge that we enjoyed but still a minor inconvenience. Laundry The dryer barely works, we gave up on the idea of laundry after one load. Cleanliness There is dust and cobwebs around the house. Not that big of a deal for us, but it may be for people with higher standards or severe allergies. If you want a clean, seamless, hassle free cabin this is not the place for you. If you are a large party of Goblins like us and just need a place to crash while exploring Yellowstone, this is the perfect place for you. We would love to give this place 4 stars, but upon looking at past reviews a lot of these issues are not being addressed. That on top of the water issues we had, we give this place 3 stars.

This is a beautiful log home that needs a good cleaning, furniture replaced and overall attention. The furnace did not work the week we were there. Fortunately we did not have severely cold weather. The owners sent the gas company out 3 days after we checked in and he was able to get us hot water and he also got the gas fireplace working. There was dust, dirt and cobwebs all over. The doors going outside are all tied shut with ropes or bungee cords. The electrical panel and furnace wires were exposed in the basement. A serious hazard if there had been children. We did receive a partial refund from the owners after 2 weeks.

Loved the location, very quiet, plenty of space for 6 of us. The house was well stocked, it could use some attention but was fine for us. Ran into some issues but the owners were responsive and easy to deal with.

The setting of this property is gorgeous and super peaceful. The outside of the home is beautiful too. The kitchen is well stocked The furniture inside is very worn with tearing in fabric and should be replaced. The carpeting has tack strips out on the floor which the kids stepped on and got hurt. The smoke detectors are all pulled out which is concerning. The water for a shower was hot one time the entire week we were there, even the first shower of the day was chilly. Looks like there was some sort of major leak downstairs so the downstairs is still under construction with paint on half of the bathroom. The ping pong table was held together by a piece of duck tape which broke immediately. We were really excited for this property and it’s not cheap so we expected more. We wouldn’t come back, unfortunately.

We loved the cabin during our visit to Yellowstone Park!

The location of this house is great and it has a beautiful setting in valley near Henry's Lake. There are countless things to do in the Henry's Lake area as well as venturing into Yellowstone and this house provided the prefect home base for our 3 family group of 17 people. The house itself could use a little fixing up. We experienced complete losses in water pressure during heavy water usage multiple times (maybe the pump flow can't keep up?). There were exposed carpet tack strips leading into the two upstairs bathrooms that poked a few of us in the foot. Probably the most annoying thing was that the 3 double doors on the rear of the house could not be latched and had to be secured with ropes to keep from opening from a heavy wind. There were other minor things like burnt out lightbulbs and chirping smoke detectors. The house has many modern amenities (including a touch screen panel), but there is no "manual" to explain how to do anything that you might see at other VRBOs. In fairness, the owners were responsive to text messages when we had questions and even shipped us something we left behind. Making some simple repairs would go a long way to make this a 5 star rental!

Beautiful large cabin in gorgeous location . Owners are very nice people. It was such a pleasure we didn’t want to leave after a week of remarkable sunsets, lounging on the deck, sharing laughter over dinners and game playing. We had ten people who had beds and five on couches or floors. Unfortunately, the couches were not hide-a-beds, one was very hard, the other very soiled. There was food and things stuck under the cushions. I new hide-a-bed would have helped with comfort! Those who had the bedrooms were comfortable! Beautiful bedrooms! Also, fixing the lock on patio door would help with security. Hopefully, fixing these things would make this beautiful home earn the stars it deserves! We would gladly return to enjoy this lovely home on a beautiful location.

This was the email I sent 3 days ago and the hosts still have not responded. It gives you a good Idea about what needs to be done to the home to bring it up in overall cleanliness.... "Hey there! This place was beautiful in so many ways and we overall enjoyed our stay. We thought it was well equipped and plenty of room. However, we were disappointed on the cleanliness and quality of the home. Below are some issues we ran into: 1) Excess dust in almost all areas of the home, especially the living areas. 2) The shower next to the room with the bunk beds did not work. 3) Only one burner on the grille was working 4) Unable to hook the hose up, made it challenging to safely put out our fire. 5) Expired food in kitchen. 6) Wet spots on the ground by the couch downstairs where it curves that remained there the entire stay. Might you have a leak somewhere? 7) Someone cut their foot on the rug in the master bathroom due to exposed staples. 8) Prior tenants socks and underwear were found under the furniture when we were cleaning up. 8) Most importantly many of us were experiencing severe allergy symptoms to the point where we almost went to a walk in clinic for one of our party. We are now in our 2nd rental in Teton and all of our symptoms have since dissipated, which points to the dust as the cause At the least, we believe it’s warranted to receive our cleaning fee back, as we had to do a lot of cleaning upon our arrival. I think it’s imperative for the safety of future guests to address the health concerns of the issues above. Not to overshadow how amazing your home is, but it can be even better if these issues are addressed. Thank you and we look forward to hearing back from you. Michele & Morgan

It was perfect for our family. The grandkids played ball outside each night after a long day in Yellowstone. We had bonfires each night with the wood provided. Then the kids went inside and had a blast in the rec room. The home had everything a family might need. Thanks to the hosts we had a great stay.

My family loved staying in this beautiful log cabin home in the stunning valley with sweeping views of God’s country. It was truly magical. So magical that I hate to even say anything negative, but in an effort to bring full disclosure I will say that cabin could use a good deep cleaning. It was a bit dusty, some of the throw blankets seemed like they hadn’t been washed in a very long time, and the couches had lots of crumbs. The back doors also need some maintenance because we had to use ropes to keep them closed and it made it difficult to enter and exit with ease. Lastly, taking the garbage to the dump could be a real issue for folks depending on their vehicle sizes and when they had to leave. Thankfully had time and space to handle it before we left, but it definitely made me question now some people would be able to make it work. The owners were very helpful though anytime we had a question and always responded promptly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We would highly recommend this property to anyone! It was exactly as advertised except you can’t put the breathtaking sunsets into words!! Our family couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Fun times at the cabin, great distance to Yellowstone and Henry’s lake. Lots of outdoor seating for family meals. Well stocked kitchen. The teens enjoyed the ping pong and fooseball. The basement rooms windows don’t open which made them very hot for sleeping.

Someone was sleeping in my bed….We arrived a few minutes before check in to find a truck in the driveway and 2 people sleeping in one of the rooms. All beds were unmade and kitchen was a mess. We contacted owner who said cleaning people (his children) would be finished soon. We waited 2 more hours! Owner was unapologetic for the inconvenience and did not offer any refund of cleaning fee. Not a great way to start the week. Outside porch doors were roped to stay shut and exposed wiring in laundry room is a safety concern. Nice location but house needs work and professional cleaners for its size.

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our stay and we appreciate the opportunity to stay there. The only items I feel the need to comment on is the upkeep of the property. Every piece of furniture was covered with heavy dust. We live in farming country and I could tell that this was not just a couple of days of dust. It was very noticeable on the furniture as well as the bathroom floors. We had small children with us and there were very large thistles growing right by the front door. It really needs some weed attention both in the front and the back. My son-in-law also almost slide into the fire pit when walking by as it's just a sandy slope. There is no real fire ring; which would be so simple and inexpensive to install. Even rocks and a level area would be a great improvement. When we got there the back lock box would not work (from the instructions). We tried to get it to open for about 15 minutes before my husband went around front and found another lock box above the bedroom window. The back deck and patio furniture were filthy. I had to clean the outside table and the back back french doors as soon as we got there because they were covered with dirt and grimy finger prints. The oven was just gross, but we needed it for some of the meals we brought. We also were not able to use some of the top bunks in the downstairs bedroom because of exposed wiring we were afraid of with small children. Overall we had a very good time and enjoyed the back deck every morning and evening.. But the property definitely needs some TLC and maybe a better cleaning crew...

The property is nice and the location is great for accessing Yellowstone’s West entrance. There is wildlife everywhere and Henry Lake is very nice. The town of West Yellowstone is nearby and has some places to eat as well as grocery stores.

This property was perfect for our family vacation .The home is large (4000sq.ft.) and beautiful .The nearest home is 400 yards away to the northeast , but looking out toward the north , from the rear porch balcony , there is a very large , empty , expanse of over a thousand acres that gives a sense of isolation , that is very welcome to those of us who live in large cities .Mountains are visible in any direction you choose to look .We had 3 Antelope walk across the yard , 2 in front yard , 1 in back , within 30 yards of the house .We also had a cow Elk cross the back of the property at a distance of 250 yards .The game room , with Ping-Pong and Foosball tables was a hit with children and adults alike .My family and I loved it .
