Was the perfect size for privacy and location. Close to the eating places along with the Diamond mine. They allowed dogs which was great since we travel with ours will stay here again if in the area.

We stayed two nights in April 2024, just looking for a cheap place to get out of the rain after mining and that's what we got. The location was not within walking distance to the Crater of Diamonds as advertised. The furnishings were dated and the place was in need of a good cleaning, especially the bathroom/shower area. The host was very friendly and accomodating, and the place is pet friendly, but next time I would spend a few bucks more and stay elsewhere.

Stayed 2 nights. Everyone is super friendly. Cabin was nice and clean.

The host was excellent, we were running late for our arrival and our host was at the property to greet us. He was genuinely concerned that something may have happened to us which it did we ran out of gas lol. He was friendly and helpful and the cabin was perfect. Highly recommend!

We arrived early Saturday evening. Unfortunately, due to below average temperatures the water in the cabin was not working. After a very quick conversation with the owner, Tim, he upgraded us to the brick home on the property at no extra charge. The bed was comfortable and everything neat and tidy. Great experience all around. Very friendly and courteous owner who works to make your stay great.

Small, clean and perfectly suited for our trip to Crater of Diamonds, less than a mile away and conveniently close to Lovejoy Diamond Screens where we rented our equipment. They allowed our two big and well behaved dogs. Great internet, hot water, and the best smelling towels we've ever smelled. Great stay-we look forward to coming back

Perfect in every way! We just needed a place to lay down after driving from WV so we could rest before going to the diamond park as well as getting cleaned up afterwards but Murfreesboro was such a neat little town we ended up having a great time walking around at the shops in town! Tim was an excellent host and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we can make it back when it’s cooler in the fall or spring! Lots of fun for everyone! The beds were very clean and comfortable and everything we needed was provided! Thank you!

This place was so incredibly convenient for us to travel to and from Crater of Diamonds park and the Diamond Springs water park. It was very cool inside with the AC on low, even though it was 99° outside. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again. It’s small, but the price and location make it a 10/10.

Pleasant spot close to Crater of Diamonds State Park. Clean, quiet and just outside of town.

The cabin was perfect for our visit to Crater of Diamonds SP. There was plenty of room for our family of four plus our 40 pound pup. Every basic need was available including a mini fridge, microwave, portable cook top, fire ring, picnic table, and grill outside. Bring a small pot or pan if you plan on using the cooktop. I didn’t see any at the cabin, but we also didn’t use it, so wasn’t really looking. The AC units were COLD and the hot water plentiful. I especially LOVED that there was provided mining equipment and chairs on loan.

The little cabin was perfect for our needs. I would agree with a previous review. The dresser is unnecessary and would move the table to that spot and put in a larger fridge. But other than that. The bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean. Would definitely stay again. Tim was available if needed and easy to contact. Thanks

We absolutely loved this little place!! It was clean along with everything being close and convenient, including the diamond state park. The owner was very responsive & informative about the area, in regards to recommendations!! The beds are super comfortable, which is always a plus when you are rock/gem hounding all day!! We had a blast and appreciate being welcomed into the home. Highly recommended..

We planned on spending a full day at Crater of Diamonds State Park and wanted to stay close by. This cabin is a mile or less from the park and they also provided some needed tools for mining. Fire pit and picnic table were a great touch. Very clean and perfect for our family of 5.

As the previous other reviews have said, this is a property behind another property but we came to Diamond mine and it didn’t disappoint. It had everything we needed and was so close to Crater of Diamonds and town. They did provide some mining equipment which we appreciated but we did rent some anyway. Thank you!

Stayed there to go diamond mining, didn't find any diamonds, but this place was a gem!

Easy process

Host very accommodating, in the freeze the pipes to the back house burst and he put us up in the less cozy, larger front house. In the end a satisfactory stay and most importantly, great host.

Perfect alternative to a hotel. Cabin was warm with space heaters overnight. Dish tv. Mini fridge was fine but we took an extra cooler. Coffee pot,microwave, toaster we there along with a few plates, bowls, utensils. Would stay there again if we go to Crater of Diamonds again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Not luxury, but many extra conveniences! We had two adults, two kids (6 & 10), and 2 large dogs. This property worked much better than a single hotel room. We didn't have to worry about disturbing hotel neighbors and it was closer to COD than the hotels. We were unsure of the check in process and had to call, but owner was very responsive and opens property right before guest to arrive and leaves key accessable with instructions right as you walk in. So it was easy just didn't know what to expect. Check out just as easy! Coming into town the first time the property is a bit hard to locate. Address takes you right to it, but it's in behind another house. When you're looking for what you see in the listing pic, you don't see that right away. It's in a residential area and in behind houses. It was nice to have the young ones able to sleep before adults were ready as it has a separate room. Supplied with plenty of blankets, pillows, and beds were comfortable. The twin bed was kind of noisy. It has a small but very welcomed kitchenette supplied with things like plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.. Also a coffee pot! Living space very comfortable with recliner, pull out couch, full dining table, TV with lots of channels. The furniture was aged, recliner coming unsewn at the footrest, but they were comfortable and met our needs. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels. The shower seemed a bit cheap, we were kind of afraid we were going to break knobs or something, but it gave us a shower and that's the goal. Fire pit available, but we were unable to get dry wood. Bought some at local gas station for $11.00 but that wouldn't work either. We build fires at home often so it wasn't the operators 😉. My son was disappointed. Maybe bring your own if you plan to use pit. Picnic table also there. Property had shovels, buckets, and some screens available if you're heading to COD. That was a greatly appreciated amenity! Overall this property was hospitable, clean, well supplied, any met our needs. We would definitely stay here again. It worked out well for us, the kids were ready to move in...lol.
