We love Brevard and all our stays offer amazing valley/mountain views. THIS home however is the first we found with water (river/lake) views and as mentioned in the heading....total solitude other than the sound of wings (hummingbirds) we first thought were bugs ;-}!! Some of the access roads were a tad adventurous but you get used to it quickly. The covered porch was the perfect addition and permitted incredible views in the rain and lightning striking the mountain tops many miles in front of us.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Arrowhead Point of View! The owner was incredibly accommodating and the house had every needed amenity and then some. The WiFi works extremely well, as well as cellular reception. In case you need to do some work during your stay. It’s is close to Pisgah National Forest, Brevard, Lake Toxaway, and Cashiers/Highlands. If you like hiking, biking, kayaking, good local food, and art, you will love being in this area.

We were so happy with our choice of property. The views were amazing and the home was beautiful. The host thought of everything to furnish the home with for our stay. There was even coffee creamer in the refrigerator, this has never happened in a vacation rental that I have stayed in. The home had plenty of room for 4 of us and it has such a cozy feel that we all felt at home staying here . We would definitely choose this home again for a girls trip. The host is extremely nice and very receptive to texts with questions. I would recommend this property to anyone. Thank you Debbie for everything, we loved staying in your home!!!!

This property is well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you need. Also, the basement has everything one needs: countless games, a foozball table, a nice TV, and plenty of room. The view is outstanding.

Amazing view, beautiful home and absolutely perfect for a mountain getaway. The host was great and provided everything needed to enjoy our stay. Highly recommended and we hope to return sometime in the future.

It's always nice when the online listing and the verbal description of the property manager are accurate and that was certainly the case for this property. The property and it's location was its main selling point for us: remote, quiet, views of the mountains but we were extremely pleased by the variety of Little Enhancements to the property that improved our stay. For example, excellent driving directions b/c GPS was misleading. And USB-A and USB-C compatible charging spots built-in to outlets. Good labelling of TV remote controls, light switches, and a good House HOWTO Book. An oversized grill with extra gas cannisters. Small luxury items here and there across the house to make my wife feel special. I could go on and on. The small enhancements gave the rental high value and we are very likely to rent it again.

The view of the mountains, lakes, and sky was truly something to behold. The home was very well appointed with updated kitchen and bathroom features. What a great place to relax with wonderful views from all 3 decks! We loved our stay here.

Fantastic house with wonderful view! The home was well stocked as stated. Plenty of extras in case you forgot something even a basket full of chargers. Great guide books available if you are not familiar with the area and recommendations of restaurants, stores and farmer’s markets from your host. She also had saving cards available for the local grocery stores. All in all it was a 5 star stay!

This is a beautiful property in a gorgeous area! The house is charming, comfortable and well furnished for your stay. The deck is so peaceful and the views are absolutely amazing! The location is secluded but there is easy access to plenty of shopping and activities nearby. Debbie is a great hostess who really wants you to enjoy your stay at Arrowhead Point of View.

What an amazing property and what a view! If mountain escapes are your thing then this is the place! Very nice amenities in the house as well which was a pleasant surprise. Very private and secluded, quiet, and a superb view! Would definitely rent again!

Debbie's house is the perfect mountain getaway. Three porches with the most spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Jocassee below. The house is very well outfitted and Debbie has almost anything you could need in case you forgot. Communication was excellent and check-in and out was very seamless. We're coming back!

The home is exactly as described! The owner was amazing to work with and answered all my questions ahead of time. The house was clean, comfortable, and had all the things needed and then some. The views are breathtaking and it is easy to sit on one of the porches and just enjoy the peace. Only "down" side would be to have to pay a cleaning fee, animal fee and then still have to clean floors before going. It isn't a deal breaker but it is annoying with a late check in time and early check out time in my opinion. The drive up to the property is a fun one and would NOT recommend doing in the dark the first time. The directions are spot on but it is a climb up the mountain...but that is what gives you the views so well worth it!! I would highly recommend the home and look forward to visiting again some day soon!

Words can't describe the beauty that surrounds this home. The owner has gone to great lengths to add personal touches & extras everywhere! The extra amenities are abundant. Coffee paper towels fully stocked kitchen and even laundry soap & shampoo. This home has it all! We give it 100 STARS!!!

We were instructed to vac. and mop the floor, clean linens and on and on the list went. The extra owner fee and dog fee should have been used to pay for cleaning, not pocket money for the owner. Did not use the downstairs or hot tub, not wanting to be charged extra. All the rules and regulations were offensive and made our stay unplesant. A very nice house and a wonderful view. The motel that we stayed in was a better use of our money and time, they cleaned the rooms, changed the sheets for only $100.00. If we use Vrbo again, we will do much more investigation.

Beautiful property in the mountains. Wake up to lovely views and then enjoy coffee out on one of the multiple decks. Not too far from Asheville but checkout Brevard or Hendersonville for shopping and sites.

Amazing views, hottub, well stocked and dog friendly. The perfect choice for us. The drive up (or down) the mountain 15 to 2o minutes. 30 to 35 minutes to Brevard or Cashiers. Very private. Place was very tidy with nice touches...such as lights at night easy to let dogs out before bed and see them. Everything you could want is there for you.

On-line pics do not fully show how spectacular the view actually is. Unit is very well appointed with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The other reviews said the view is great, and they were right. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The home is surrounded by beautiful trees with mountain and water views. Sitting outside at sunset watching the sun reflect off of the water was the best part. Hands down, you won't get better views than this. We also really enjoyed the home. It was well maintained with upgrades all around. What I enjoyed the most was even with the updates, the home still felt very cozy with a historic feel. With every level having its own balcony, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out to enjoy the scenery around us. The master bedroom felt like a retreat with a bathroom to die for. We also brought our two Golden Retrievers and I don't think I've ever seen them so happy. The yard was huge with plenty of space for them to run and explore. I'm sure if they could talk they would be begging to go back! The only "cons" I can say is, when you are cooking in the kitchen around sunset or sunrise, you will be blinded by the sun. I would suggest putting up curtains or shades to block the sun around these times. Also, the house is creaky and very open, so sound travels pretty well. Not a huge deal, but something to know if you plan to bring kids. Overall, we thought our stay was fantastic and would absolutely stay there over and over again. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing Thanksgiving vacation. I would highly recommend.

I’m sure the view from the property is beautiful all year long but seeing it is all it’s fall splendor was a blessing. The house itself has everything you need to cook, hang out and relax but the best was waking up to that magnificent view. There is some distance to get to town, but national forest and all the hikes and waterfalls make it the perfect place to get away, de-stress and enjoy the beauty that is North Carolina.

The solitude of this setting is astounding.The house is very adequate w/lovely decks, very well appointed kitchen, great baths, and comfortable bedrooms. Just pack your clothes, bring in some food & enjoy.

For star gazers, the upper deck off the master offers a panoramic view not found in many mountain cabins. The potted flowers and hummingbird feeder added a nice touch to the main deck. The hot tub on the lower deck was a welcome place to relax in the evenings and the water was perfectly balanced. (I know because I have a spa at home and brought a test strip out of curiosity)The gourmet kitchen's top of the line appliances made cooking a pleasure. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean and well-appointed.Debbie was easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating, even after our stay. Thank you!!

Super home on a quiet mountain with plenty of privacy. Home has great kitchen and bath. Porches with views for miles. Master is upstairs with a huge bath with claw foot slipper tub and large tiles shower. Kitchen has everything plus upgraded appliances too. We really enjoyed our stay!
