Beautiful place to stay and have fun in the lake. This was a once in a lifetime trip for us to be in this area but we would definitely stay here again if we have a reason to find ourselves at Lake Martin again. If you find yourself wanting Mexican food while you’re there, Burrito Corner is a cute little Mexican restaurant in an unexpected location. Highly recommended!

Our stay was amazing! The property was exactly like the photos. The kitchen was stocked with all essential items. Linda, our host was awesome during the whole process prior to booking and after. She replied promptly and was very informative. We celebrated two birthdays and had an engagement during our trip and the location and house were perfect! Our favorite part was the dock! We would throw a float in the water and just relax for hours. Linda’s home is absolutely beautiful and I am so appreciative that we were able enjoy our stay at Lake Martin there. I highly recommend this property and especially Linda!

This property was exactly as described. It was everything we needed for a family vacation. The driveway is intimidating, but it is not as scary as it looks! We would definitely stay at this property again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on Lake Martin. Everything you need is here to enjoy the natural surroundings. The home is located in a quiet cove and convenient to many area restaurants, Marinas and boat launches. The home is very well outfitted for grilling, cooking and relaxing! We will definitely be back. :)

Great place to stay

The stay was great, the driveway was exciting though and nearly burnt the clutch up on my Subaru

We loved this place - it was exactly as depicted and described - wonderful location on the water - near a boat ramp - we dropped our boat in and cruised over to the property - the dock was perfect - covered and easy to navigate in and out of. Plenty of space - and the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO we have ever stayed in. WiFi worked wonderfully - a necessity for the teenagers! Utilized the grill and the deck for morning coffee and an online meeting I had to attend - loved using the lake as my background :) Driveway is steep - but just ride that brake on the way down and don't let off the gas on the way out and you'll be fine. Thank you for a wonderful trip - we'll be back.

Beautiful location and home. My family thoroughly enjoyed this vacation. The weather was perfect for swimming every day. Very clean home a lot of room. This is the second time we have stayed here and hope to stay many more times. Thanks

A beautiful property. Everything was exactly like the pics and the home was stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful family get together. The kayaks were a definitely plus! We enjoyed getting out on the lake. There are several hiking trails nearby with varying difficulty levels. At the end of the day (and every morning for coffee) the whole family enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck. Linda was a great host! Answered questions quickly, even on the holiday! Great property and a great vacation for all!

I will have to admit that I was nervous when I got there and all nine of us were stuck outside for awhile because I couldn't reach the owner via phone or text message. We had the code for the keybox (which I texted via VRBO for the night before), but were never sent the alarm code and had arrived after the check in time. She did call back after about 15 minutes so we were then able to get inside. It would be nice to get both codes the morning of the day of arrival. The home was clean although one room did smell smoky and two of the mattress are really squeaky so every time you move, it wakes you up. My son slept on the couch one night because of how loud the full size mattress is. But we would stay there again because overall everything was nice and clean. The patio and the dock are awesome. Grill worked great. It was not at all peaceful when we stayed though because two sets of neighbors very close by were very loud and partied both nights late into the night. Keep this in mind if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing get-away. Don't forget to pack bathtowels, washrags, and laundry detergent!

Was all good and easy to access

We SO enjoyed our time at Lake Martin in your home. It was clean and roomy, and the scenery was BEAUTIFUL...very easy to get to the places we love on the lake. Thank you!

We needed this for lodging friends for a wedding nearby. It was clean, well stocked and at a good location. The appliances were top notch, the furniture new and comfortable. Linda was so nice and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend this stay on beautiful Lake Martin.

Very clean and loved the location on the lake. The drive was a little steep and scary at first but we got used to it. No towels and no water toys so be prepared to bring your own (owner does make that known). Overall great time and would definitely return!

Stay was great. Good location....close to union boat ramp, chucks marina, not too far from chimney rock. Place was clean, outside porch was nice & kitchen had what you needed. Only downfall was the driveway. Best way is to launch boat before going to the house. There is absolutely no way to bring boat down driveway and turn around! We left boat trailer at top of driveway also. We put truck and car in 1st gear to go up & down. Once you do it a time or 2, its no big deal!

Excellent stay

Awesome! Great Experience. We plan on going back. Nice dock for our boat. My wife and I had our morning coffee on the dock. It has a well stocked kitchen with plates, glasses, and utensils. The driveway is steep, but we knew that going in. There is ample parking at the top of the driveway for a truck and boat trailer. No issues checking in and out. The boat launch is close along with a marina with gas. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back.

We had a great weekend relaxing with family. We rented a boat for two days & the rain held off all weekend. It was a great time. Linda was easy to deal with & prompt with responding to my text messages. We overcame the driveway, brought our own towels & it was a good time for all of us. Would book again!

We loved our little getaway to Lake Martin. We had adult children who joined us from Birmingham and Auburn. The house had plenty of room for the 6 of us. The outside deck was wonderful and the views of the lake were so beautiful. We were there at the perfect time before the rush of Memorial Day traffic comes in. Thanks for opening your home to us. We would love to stay here again.

Owner was very accommodating and communicated well. we had a great time. patio and Gazebo were very nice, great view down the channel to big water. plenty of room for family and friends. the driveway is alittle steep but not really an issue for vehicles and the nice guidance provided on how to come down and turn around helped alot. would definitely recommend and come back again.
