All around comfortable and lovely

it's a non-descript place and I think it's being reno'd. but that's neither here nor there the view at the back is very pleasant, in the yard. it's basically a basement apartment, but the owner has refined taste, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I don't think anybody would be complaining at all. nice touches are the laundry and all the appliances. and very pooch friendly, helpful that there were coverings for the couch, oh yeah and the added touch of chips and tea and chocolates really says a lot about the people who are renting the place out. they care. thx

it's an understated dwelling with hidden jewels. walking around to the back I was wondering what I had rented but the view from the yard was super chill gorgeous view of the valley and Lake mountainside. the rental itself was extremely well appointed. thoughtful generosities such as the assortment of teas, and the bag of chips were very appreciated, just tells you that somebody's putting in that little bit extra and it really is thoughtful. the use of mirrors expanded the space comfortably. nothing was gaudy, nice choice of elevated appliances. no effort to go on the cheap here. bathroom is very comfortable. I didn't take any showers I just realized. the bath was a delight for me. the bedrooms were very comfortable and the fittings were also super comfy. it's a back basement apartment but there was lots of light. backyard is roomy and in the summer I could see people enjoying it with their kids. if you're here just to go about town you're going to be happy anyway. I mentioned that I had come from a stressful week and Jacqueline was super responsive always but on day one was asking if there was anything she could do to help. at no time was anyone in my face or putting themselves before my rest/enjoyment and that is also very professional. I personally prefer a harder bed but that's just me. it was definitely fine. I would say the TV could definitely be bigger but I say that about almost every place, and I had one with me regardless so my PS5 and I were quite content. thank you

It was a great basic basement suite for a working week in Nelson.

We had a busy and very enjoyable weekend stay at the Rosemont suite retreat. Our host Jacqueline was very welcoming, pleasant and easy to contact with quick responses. I brought my dog and was very pleased with how easy a transition it was for her. She is a rescue and this was our first time traveling to a new place. Jacqueline and her family are very dog friendly and dog welcoming, thank you. The suite was clean, nice and welcoming. We enjoyed the sweat treats and popcorn. Jacqueline, thanks for the tip on the little trail Kahlua really enjoyed exploring it. We will definitely be visiting again sometime.

This property was very accommodating. I brought my 2 kids out to Nelson for a few days. This property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is clean and modern and located close to Baker street. I highly recommend!

If you are looking for a place that has everything this is it! Bathroom towels, lotions and shampoo. Washer and dryer and they supplied the laundry detergent, Kitchen she did not miss a thing best equipped kitchen I have seen at VRBO. Beautiful linens on beds. Comfy comfy beds. Outdoor space has space for shade and space for sun. Equipped with barbecue, plenty of seating. When I return to Nelson I would definitely stay here. Great Hosts.

Nice place, however, if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. This is a basement suite and the access is on an incline with stairs and a sidewalk which is rather uneven. In the owner’s defence, the front yard is under construction so the sidewalk issue may be rectified in future. The suite itself is lovely, well equipped and very quiet. It is a bit small for 4 adults, but workable. Nice views of lake from back yard. Patio table and BBQ is a nice touch. Lovely place to have a drink or a meal.

The apartment IS adorable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable. Our hostess was very helpful.. But the best part for us was the private deck with the view below out toward Kootenay Lake. Overall a super VRBO exoerience!

Suite was very nice and well equipped. Host was very friendly and helpful.

The apartment was as advertised. It was the downstairs apartment with easy access. It had all the amenities that was needed. Great view of water and mountains. Quite neighbors. Nice for a two day rest. Only drawback was you can here the upstairs owner walking around. But at 930-10 all quite great night sleep.

Only stayed for two nights but overall impression was favorable. Seemed to be well stocked with the essentials. A little noisy in the mornings. Too bad the second bedroom didn't have an A/C unit or a fan as it was very hot during our stay. Not really walkable to the core of town. But overall enjoyed our short visit.

It’s a very nice place with very comfy beds. Few minutes away from downtown. Beautifully decorated. Everything you need is there. Great BBQ provided.

Up in Rosemont but walking into town is doable. Small but comfortable. Really appreciated it being cat friendly too!

Like new apartment, bright, clean, organized and expertly decorated and stocked. Quiet area an easy 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the centre of Nelson. About 25 minute drive to ski hill. A perfect spot.

Perfect choice for us

We spent two nights, the place had everything we needed and more. Close enough to walk to town for a coffee and also a nice quiet location. The space was great with little touches that made it feel personalized. Would definitely stay again:)

We were welcomed to adorable suite where it was clean, well organized and spacious. There was a basket with a few treats and coffee beans for our morning coffee. We were very comfortable with our stay and enjoyed being 10 minutes away from city centre. I would recommend this place to anyone who is travelling though Nelson. Thank you for making our stay very comfortable.

Jacqueline provided small thoughtful items that made us feel appreciated and pampered as a guest. The unit itself was very clean; the bed was comfy; the kitchen nicely stocked. Things to consider would be that parking was a little tight, and that as the unit is a walk-out basement, there was sound transference from main floor of the home. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

We had a great stay at this little property! Check in was a breeze! We arrived during the heat dome but the property was kept cool by multiple fans as well as the fact that it is in the basement of the house. That being said it is a walk-out configuration and the lighting made it bright and cheery. The location is only a 4 min drive to downtown Nelson and all that it has to offer. This has to be one of the most well equipped rental properties I have stayed in. It had EVERYTHING we needed to enjoy our vacation. There was a washer and dryer, beach towels, a full bathroom with shampoo/conditoner/body wash, all the appliances you would need for cooking (and then some), tons of kitchen utensils, etc. Having two separate bedrooms was ideal for our family; we were able to put the kids to bed and enjoy our evening watching a movie on Netlfix. The hostess was very knowledgeable and gave us advice on where to go/best beaches/etc. We asked to borrow a cooler to pack a lunch with us and she provided one no problem. The only slight negative is that there was some upstairs noise in the mornings/evenings but that's to be expected when you are staying with a family who has children. Having kids ourselves we definitely understood! We would absolutely stay here again. It was the perfect little home base!

The unit was clean, all of the home amenities were there. The outside eating area has a great view of Kootanee Glacier. Good coffee on site, last but not least, friendly neighbours.

It was quiet and no traffic noise to keep us up was a bonus. It’s a quiet place off the main part of town but q quick drive into The city or to the river / beach . Well kept and very clean and stocked with even shampoo and lotion laundry faculties . Perrrct for a small family.

We spent 3 nights in this lovely suite. It has everything you need and is in a lovely quiet location. Very easy to get Downtown.

The suite was exactly as described, and well appointed with everything you need to enjoy the stay. We stayed for two nights in July and the location was good - just a short drive to downtown, and a great view of the lake and bridge. The host was very nice, and the process was streamlined. There was some minor noise from upstairs, but we were traveling with kids, so we totally relate. We would stay again, and would recommend to friends and family.
