A propos de ce cottagerental
Cozy waterfront cottage with semi-private beach!

For us the location was perfect. We put kayaks in from the backyard and explored the area from there. The beach, a short walk from the front of the house, was clean but small, which wasn’t a problem as there were never many people there. We were there to enjoy a vacation on the water and we did.

Loved the location. Was a total bummer when we first arrived. 3 of us spent 45 min. Sweeping sheets of cobwebs and other debris from around the front door/porch and the back deck. This made a very poor first impression. Only silverware was plastic. Shower is what you might expect in a camper.very small. No extra blankets.

Spent my childhood summers on the little beach.
Came up for a wedding and wanted to stay in the neighborhood.
Great location to Jamestown, Newport and downtown Wickford!!

We loved the location of the cottage, which was in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood - granted it was mid-September. The nearby private beach was a gem. We enjoyed spending time on the deck overlooking the beautiful cove. The cottage was small, neat and clean, which was all we needed!

We came to the area for a wedding, but did not want to stay in the city. The location was quiet, and the cabin had everything we needed for the stay.

Stunning back view!
This lil cottage has everything you may need for basic accommodations.

We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was very enjoyable. All the kitchen appliances and items are in this kitchen. We went clamming, fishing, and mussel hunting. Everything at your door step. Golf courses were close by and Newport is just across the Jamestown Bridge.

We had a nice stay. The view is lovely. The neighborhood beach was quiet and the neighbors we met were friendly. The cottage is small, the shower is very small, but it was comfortable. We would return.

Just what we were looking for
My family was visiting Narragansett for the weekend and was able to stay at this gem. Excellent location and awesome views off the back deck. Check in and out was seamless and the owners provided great communication about the property. No bells and whistles with this property but it was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for the excellent stay!

September stay
A great little place for us; we enjoyed our 2 weeks. The cottage is rustic but had everything wee needed. I was able to use my kayak around the local area to enjoy some fishing; nice little community beach available and close proximity to the quaint town of Wickford.

Artists retreat
It's a second time we were staying in this house. We are a small family and we're enjoying proximity to everything.
We had accomplished all our plans, including inspiration from ocean waters.
We were staying in the time of hurricane Henry, August 2021 and it was fun to experience it!
We're planning to come back!

Little cottage in a beautiful and serene setting
Our second stay here in a year and we loved every minute. The cottage is simple and comfortable with a view of a serene Narragansett cove, and that's all we need when we are spending time with our family. The location is the star of the show here. The cottage is nestled on a grassy and wooded property and a two minute walk to a lovely beach. It is very close to Wickford and many other beautiful destinations. The host was responsive and very nice. We will be back!! Thank you!

Quaint Cottage
We loved our stay. Our 5 family members had a cozy relaxing visit together in this modest cottage with one bedroom and a curtained off second bedroom. The cottage is set amongst towering oak trees overlooking a beautiful Narraganset Bay cove, in a lovely neighborhood where we took many beautiful walks, and enjoyed the little sandy beach just a few yards away. The
cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable. The weather was chilly (even snowed one day) and the heater kept us toasty. It has a large front deck where we barbecued quahogs we dug locally and oysters from Potter's Cove.
The manager was friendly and responsive and we would like to come again soon!!
warm.

Nice Get Away!
We went for a long week end, 3 nights. Nice, quaint, cottage on an inlet. Beautiful views. Did not want for anything. Everything was there. Beds were made up and towels available. We brought our kayaks and kayaked around the cove and beach area. While we were there the water was very calm. Nice quiet area. Walking was great around the neighborhood. Did not have contact with the owners while there, because we had no problems. Went to Jamestown Island to see Beavertail Lighthouse and to Newport to ride the Newport Trolley Tour. Eat at a couple of great restaurants in the area. Wickford Village is a quaint town on the water to visit. All in all a great stay!

Ideal
My sister and myself stayed in this cottage. The location was so peaceful, it was just what we needed. Cottage is very cozy and has a beautiful view of a saltwater pond where you can watch the wading egrets. Owners are wonderful and very quick to answer any questions you may have.

Artsy family
For our small artsy family it was perfect place to spend our one week vacation!

My family and I really enjoyed this property. It was in a very quiet little neighborhood that made you feel away from it all but you really weren't far from anything you may need or want. The neighborhood beach was a hit with our sons and they had a blast hunting for hermit crabs and shells. The water was cool and calm and it was so nice watching the tides roll in and out in the cove. This was a much needed getaway with all the craziness going on in the world and my family really enjoyed our time here. We had one issue at the very beginning of our stay with the TV and the property owners/managers were so attentive and responsive. They checked on us throughout the stay.

More than a beach house
Staying here is not just a visit to a beach house, but also entering a beach life for your stay. The neighborhood is full of very friendly people and pets who will make you feel welcome. The house is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The beach is gorgeous and you will see something amazing in every direction. This home and this area is perfect for a relaxing vacation and for a boating and sporting getaway. A great value and experience. Many thanks and we hope to come back soon.

Relaxing getaway. Just what we needed!
A perfect vacation spot for our family of 4. What a gem! Simple, clean, spectacular views from the windows and deck. Separate "beach house" veranda was so helpful for hanging up wet suits, towels, storing lifejackets, shoes. Note: second bedroom is just cordoned off with thick curtains from the living/dining room, but this worked fine for us. This is the ideal location for making special family memories--every meal on the deck, relaxing environment. We went clamming, kind neighbors also showed us how, and ate unforgettable mussels and chowder that the kids harvested! Our kayaks launched easily from the yard as we paddled along coasts taking in beautiful views. We biked into quaint Wickford, a first for our kids to bike on the road--a wide bike lane all the way. We spent day and evenings on the quiet neighborhood beach 2 minute walk across the path from the house--shallow far out. Friendly people everywhere. If you want a place to take your mind off the world's troubles, this is the spot.

Marvelous Location
Every morning we awoke to the beautiful cove with Egrets, sea gulls, and ducks fishing for their breakfast as the sky turned pink and orange promising another sunny day. Fully supplied the cottage became home to us as we waited for our own house to be renovated. Thank you Charlie and Sandie for accommodating us. Sue and Rich

Truley a sweet little cottage.
Well located short walk to salt pong and beach and I do mean short. Home is well maintained and comfortable well honestly for 4. You could add more if u have little children. Owner is very responsive if you have any issues which we had none but she stays in touch with her renters. Looking forward to returning next year.
