We have rented this house for two years and love sitting on the porch in the morning, drinking coffee and enjoying the ocean view. While the house is older, you can’t beat the location.

We took the whole family including our 1 year old grand son. the house is perfect for a large family. The location is great, the beach is very quite and the small town of Fernandina Beach with lots of shops and restaurants is a 10 minute drive. Highly recommend this house for a great and relaxing time.

This is my our new annual place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, friends and family. This was our third stay, first one without a nor'easter or hurricane coming through. Caretakers are very attentive and personal. Space is perfect for getting away from it all and each other when needed. Convenient to biking to town for brunch or dinner. We love it.

Great location, beach view even better. House was very clean, an update on den furniture could make it even more comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable vacation.

This was our second year staying here. It is just a fabulous beach home. The screened front porch with the amazing ocean views never gets old. Our daughter got engaged on the beach in front of the house, so this home will always hold a special memory for our whole family!

We’ve stayed here 3 years in a row. Great location and great multi-family set-up. We really like this place but furniture is getting old, including living room furniture and beds. Updating that would really help this place. Just a suggestion not so much a complaint.

This is our second time staying at this fabulous beach house. We had 9 adults and 2 babies. Everything was great. The kitchen was stocked with all you need to cook with even a fryer and a crockpot. It is a fabulous house for many people. The beds were comfy, even in the July heat the air kept up enough for 11 of us. Under the house there is plenty of room for beach things and 5 trucks. They have 2 swings and a sand area shaded that was nice to play in for the babies. You are directly across from the most beautiful beach so walking back and forth for meals was easy. The screened in porch has 2 porch swings that were used a lot. Perfect place to have coffee in the early mornings. We love this house! We will stay again. Thank you to the owners for all your love and care that you put into the house. It is evident.

I started a tradition of having all my kids and their spouses/significant others or friends to join me the week of my birthday. My Mom was able to join us as well. She is 80 and we almost lost her a year ago but she has worked hard and was able to walk to and from the beach everyday!!! We also had some friends stop by for dinner. We had such a great time this week, as always it goes by way to fast. I am already booked for next year!!

A group of us have gone on an annual beach trip for 25+ years, and this was our favorite house across all the years! All nine of us enjoyed the ocean view and coffee on the porch every morning. We had a couple of questions, and the property manager responded immediately. The house is not new - and some of the reviews complained that it needs to be updated - but we loved it and hope to return next year.

A REAL BEACH HOUSE !! Across the short dune to the Atlantic—very comfortable— All 5 of us were very happy with the house, the neighborhood , the property manager, the cleaning service, and we have booked for ‘24 !!

We had a great experience at the Sandcastle. The rooms were perfect for the 3 families and grandparents that stayed here. The location is ideal. Walk to beach and a short drive to downtown Fernandina. There are too many cool amenities to list like the mini play area underneath the house for kids, the outdoor enclosed shower, and the rooftop deck to name a few. The only issue we had was we had a bad week of weather (it happens) but the main family area was great for board games and tv to wait for the rain to pass. We would definitely stay here again!

We have had the pleasure of bringing our family to this house 3 years in a row. Everything about it is perfect. Looking forward to many years to come.

We had a very nice stay on the beach, the house is very accessible to the beach with great views and a large outdoor screened porch space. Everything worked and was in good condition. The property is a bit hard to find at night if the lights are not on at the property. The area is really quiet and peaceful!

1. No instructions were provided regarding how to lock the keypad. We have all used them before, but this lock was a little different. We had to figure it out. 2. The house number is not visible from the street. Apparently, it was painted over the last time the house was painted. 3. The house was not clean. Some matress pads had stains; two had blood stains. 4. Nice house, great location, met our needs, but need more detailed attention.

I hate to say that because it might get totally booked. Last year there was a nor’easter, this year Tropical Storm Nicole. The property manager reassured us that we would be OK in the house and came and secured all the outside furniture. He was super calm and even checked on us the following day when the storm had passed. This is a perfect multi-family home. We come and stay for 2-3 weeks and have others come and go. Works perfect for that setup. They have plenty of chairs and beach stuff that makes it really easy to stay there. We were also able to bike to town several times for lunch or dinner, storing bikes in downstairs storage closets. We’ll be back again!

Found house on VRBO and looked perfect for family beach vacation. Had never been to Fernandina Beach before but loved it. Loved the layout of the home and the location. I

Crump Sandcastle is a gorgeous getaway. The house is thoughtfully laid out and has everything you may need. I usually bring some of my own cookware and knives, but to my surprise the kitchen was very well stocked with great quality items. We loved the screened porch and spent a lot of time feeling the ocean breeze. My grandkids loved the pirate, and named him Horace :) The 3 year old in particular had many meaningful discussions with him. My granddaughter celebrated her first birthday on Friday, and I couldn't think of a more beautiful place to spend such a momentous day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Stayed here our second year in a row because the house location and set-up for multiple families are absolutely great. Hope to return next year. Updated living room furniture would be nice, but overall the place is wonderful.

We have been coming to Amelia for almost 20 years for vacation. We saw this house several years ago & wanted to rent, but it was always booked. We now know why- it is the perfect beach home! We had views of the ocean from every bedroom. The screened porch with the 2 swings & abundance of chairs was a favorite of everyone. The hammock, swings, & play area under the house was such a nice treat. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. We created some wonderful family memories there.

Our family had such a good time. Great locations and right on the beach. We spend most of our time on the screened in porch. We’ll be booking this house again next year.
