We enjoyed a few days to celebrate another one of us turning 50. The home and property provided everything we needed to relax, grill, fish, swim and tube. Harris is a very gracious host and provided some advice on good fishing spots.

Our recent trip along that beautiful stream was amazing! The cozy, well-maintained chalet had all the necessary amenities, and the rustic decor added to its charm. The highlight was the fantastic fishing right at my doorstep, with the stream teeming with fish. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with nearby hiking trails offering stunning views. The host was fantastic, providing clear instructions and ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, this cabin is perfect for a peaceful getaway with great fishing. Highly recommend!

Visibly dirty pots, pans and utensils-especially the ones for grilling.

Beautiful location. Host was great but the house has a lot left to desire. One sink is roted out, the vent in bathroom was not properly secured.Can't open sliding doors where pool table is, cue ball is so chipped it doesn't roll right and the cleaning company that cleaned before we came didn't do a good job at all! Had I had access to cleaning supplies especially a high duster i would have been cleaning. Yes, i know it's the woods. I live in the country and clean houses for a living. The couch also came apart when you sat on it. Stuck in the house 2 days with rain was not pleasant. Also the water is fast, mostly for fly fishing not regular. In all was not impressed at all for the price

Was rustic, clean, well outfitted, spacious, great local hiking and fishing, close to every thing we were looking for. The proximity to moving water was just what we needed. The sound of a rain forest with no rain. Perfect nights of sleep and contentment. We would rent again.

When we first started looking for places, we came across this gem in a long list of available places. I cannot tell you how happy I am we picked this place!!!! The house was in the perfect location, right on the water and instantly created that cozy cabin feel you look for in a mountain trip but with all the modern amenities you need. The sound of the rushing water was constant and really allowed you to immerse yourself into the beautiful nature that surrounds you. A little waterfall even popped up on one of the days that it rained. The covered decks allowed us to drink our morning coffee and enjoy the sights and sounds of natures natural beauty. WiFi and service in the area was great. We didn’t have a single issue throughout our entire trip. Harris is super friendly and easy going! Stopped by when we first checked in and gave us some recommendations for things to do in the area. Quick responses to any questions we had before and during the trip. Could not have asked for a better weekend getaway! Will certainly book this property again without hesitation!!

Great property on the water that makes soothing sounds. Big decks covered and not. Great FIREPIT with wood included. It’s a great Poconos house, a bit dated but that’s what I expect. My dog loved it too

I booked this mainly because of the reviews on cleanliness plus it was on the river that I like in Bushkill from past rentals. Upon arrival, We were very upset on the non-cleanliness. We almost did not stay there due to the place was very dirty. I spent the first night cleaning the second floor especially the kitchen before I even brought my food in. I washed all pots-pans-dishes and wiped all surfaces thoroughly throughout the second floor. Wash all bedding and blankets. Cleaned inside and outside slider doors so I could see the beautiful surroundings. My husband calmed me down during all this by building a fire down by the river with a glass of wine. I slowly relaxed and saw the beauty of why we rented this home. The WiFi was not good. Once a day I would receive all my mail-text messages all at once. Then lose connection again. There was no Hot tub as advertised. I waited to express my concerns after we left to go home because I didn’t want to ruin anyones holiday. Owner was extremely nice!!!! Refunded the cleaning fee. Explained the circumstances of his cleaning crew situation. Overall I spent most of my time outside enjoying the surroundings which in turn was exactly what we both needed!! I enjoyed being with family. I would like to go back because of the outside atmosphere yet it needs a deep clean. I would’ve gave this review five stars if it had been clean. The river and privacy itself was perfect.

Property owner responded less than a minute He was extremely helpful with every questions we had . We check out on Sunday but because the home was available on Monday , he offer us to check out on a later time . I think that was something every property owner should consider. Our family will definitely stay again .

This was a beautiful property. Clean, and had pretty much everything we need to cook a nice meal. The stream is great.

Great Trails Great Location

While a little dated, this was a great place to stay for a weekend of nearby competition. The big living room and the pool table downstairs provided plenty of room for our players to interact and watch the baseball playoffs. The stream behind the unit provided for some outdoor fun.

Great rental. Lots of things to see in the area or hang out at the house and enjoy.

Loved the location and privacy of the rental. It did have a strong musty smell on first floor. Unfortunately, the house is dated and there are minor fixes and cleaning issues that need addressed. I feel rental is overpriced for what you get.

Spent the weekend at this property and had a great stay! The location is perfect and the view and sound of the creek is excellent. The house is comfortable and has everything needed to settle in quickly and start enjoying your vacation. The host was so helpful and communication was great. We hope to be back again.

The property was exactly as described and in such a gorgeous location. It was perfect for a week-long getaway There was plenty to do in the surrounding area and nights were spent by the fire listening to the creek. I hope to come back sometime.

We had a fantastic weekend! The location cannot be beat, it is right at the water so we played in the water, caught frogs, fished, grilled on the top deck and enjoyed the peace and sound of the water. The house is really great and the pictures just don't do it justice, it's such a cute place with so many personal touches for the guests.
