The house is nice, clean, and was in a nice location. The parking lot is large, which is nice to not have to park on the street. I wish i could tell the owners directly, I'm not sure they are aware, but both queen beds in each bedroom were broken, to the point of being very unsafe to use. You couldn't put any weight on either side of the one queen bed without it flipping off the broken box springs. The other queen bed was broken in the one side and you would fall off if you got to close to the side of the bed. The hide a bed was so bent we didn't dare use for fear of breaking it. We would stay again if the beds get fixed. There was also no cable or satellite TV only one remote that controlled the DVD player with streamingservice. We used Vudu for streaming and the few DVDs they had available, And it was fine.

The location was great! We had a great stay. The house does need a bit of work, but it is an older home. It had everything we needed.

Overall enjoyed everything however maybe add box fans for each bedroom and living room. Got cool through the night but w 100 degree temp it was hot for awhile.

There was someone else’s food crumbs in the bed sheets. A lot of them. The single air conditioning unit did not cool the whole house. Dead bugs everywhere

Everyone had a great time exploring the small town and relaxing at the hot springs. The house we stayed at was also fun. We loved the small house and it’s homey feeling.

Overall this place is amazing. Very clean. Some electrical outlets in bedrooms did not work, toilet leaked around the bottom when flushed. Could use more baking pans. Also a broom would of been nice to use while there. Thanks for a fantastic stay

Easy to get into, park and close to town

Place was clean and fine for one night. Some updates have been made but more needed. Couches in living room were very worn. For a quick stop over it was perfect.

The home needs some cleaning and updates, you can tell there is not a lot of pride in ownership. The home could use better cleaning after use. I found under the bed a travel bag from a prior guest, bathroom sink drains very slow, and kitchen drawers are full of crumbs. This could be such a nice place with some updates and tlc. The location is good, although it is an unhealthy walk for the elderly from downtown.

If you're looking for great location in Lava, this is great. If you hold cleanliness, at the very basic level, as a priority, this is NOT the place for you. Exposed tyvec (type) material in the front of the house, clogged sink and bath, unmaintained front and back yards, unfinished patching on walls, a lot of food crumbs in kitchen drawers, to keep it cool you have to open grimy windows and cills, light above stove burned out (not a biggie), throw blankets were not washed, and no coffee or end tables. My husband even said, "I'd call this unacceptable" and he'd sleep on an ant hill and not complain. Again, if you're looking for a great location and that's all, this is ALL you.

The little house is a work in progress. It suited our needs and was comfortable. Still needs some paint and a few spots needed finishing but all in all I would stay there again. I do wish there would have been a few cleaning supplies, i.e. broom, vacuum etc. Thank you for the wonderful time with family

The location was such that we was able to walk to where we wanted to go but at the same time it was quiet and secluded. Perfect for us.

Great place for a group always fun staying in lava

This was a nice place to stay in this cozy cabin. We did have to ask for snow removal to get into the property upon arrival. This should have been done, prior to our arrival as the property knew we were checking in and it snowed. The house was very nice. Although all the beds were uncomfortable for our party. The one bed with the futon was the only bed that didn’t hurt. Couches with cushions were comfy to sleep on. Plenty of warm blankets. We got more snow over night. We were plowed in by plows and tons of snow, we were unable to get out. We had to ask for snow removal to be able to get out. The snow removal was done a few hours later only upon request. For the amount of money to stay here the beds should be updated and property management should be on top of the snow removal when it snows. Overall a nice stay just the snow removal and the beds were an issue.

Perfect for our night exploring the town and visiting the hot springs. Easy in, easy out and exactly what we were looking for in between!

I was very disappointed with this DIRTY property. I had to sweep the front porch, door and windows before sitting outside. The kitchen sink was sour, and carpets were filthy. I will never stay here again.

The place was Sssoooo Pppeeerrrfffeeeccctt for our family. It had everything that we needed, even though we brought our own things but if we knew it was well supplied we wouldve saved alot of room in our vehicle . Very convenient location to everything. It was our family's first time in Lava and this place made our stay very memorable. Wish we stayed a lil longer. Even our other family that stayed at the campgrounds came over to have breakfast before we checked out. Thank you Naughty Pine for your beautiful home. We would highly recommend. Liufau's

Very nice

I liked how it was walking distance to all the hot pools. Plentiful parking. Lots of pillows, bedding, outdoor chairs, and towels provided. We ran out of hand soap in the bathroom and propane for the grill while we were there.

This place has a fun name that meets quality. It was relaxing, clean, and quiet. I was amazed at how quiet everything was in the house. You could be in the bedroom or front room and not hear noises from other rooms. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of amenities. Lots of hot water. Fast internet, fun atmosphere, and close to everything you would need in town.
