Good bedrooms. Layout good.

Oven did not work. No baking trays for oven. No barbecue. Bathroom windows not frosted leaving you feeling exposed to neighbour windows.

Decor good, plenty of crockery, nice outside space

No lock on the gate outside, not able to use the coffee machine as there were no cups suitable to go underneath. A nice area but a little far out from the centre of Byron meant we had to use Ubers after a night out. Unfortunately some areas had been missed when cleaning and we had asked for twin beds to be made into a double but this didn’t happen

We were looking forward to our holiday, our first time to Byron Bay. Our family members dropped us off to the Baby Blue, Perfect Stay accommodation, we were all mortified by the state of the property. We checked in around 3pm & left the property within 30 mins. We noticed the following upon entry: - Damp, mouldy smell - Multiple cockroaches both alive (flying ones)& dead - Pool of contaminated flood water outside the property blocking beach access - Stains on linen - Ant infestation in the shower According to the booking.com partner policies, it states that the partner/host has a goal to make guests feel confident that their stay will be as safe, clean, & comfortable as their own home. Cockroaches (pests), mouldy smell & stained bedsheets for example, are in violation of this. Booked accommodation must be free of known health hazards such as mould, pests, vermin, & should meet a high standard of cleanliness. Due to my cousin’s allergies & my friend's respiratory condition since recovering from covid, this is unfortunately an unsafe environment for both of them. Prior to arrival we also emailed & rang PS several times to ensure the property & surrounding areas weren’t affected by the flash floods & we were assured that everything was okay & that the property would’ve informed us if there were any issues. They also left numerous messages to the property managers for us. We were lucky enough to find alternative accommodation for 5 nights on short notice. I’m sure we would’ve found many other defects had we inspected the property thoroughly. We sent images & videos of the unsatisfactory conditions & the day before we left Byron, PS finally got back to us and offered a full credit for another property in future, which isn't good enough, we demand a full refund, we are out of pocket and PS advised they already had other guests staying since we checked out.

Key access was easy. Property was generally clean and beds were comfortable. For a family of 5 the setup was ideal. The back courtyard is also a nice place to sit and listen to the birds.

We found that a number of the plates and saucepans were dirty - it looked like the dishwasher had partially cleaned them and they were just put away part cleaned. The most frustrating thing however was lack of dishwasher tablets. This is very inconvenient when you check in around 3, do dinner and then realise you cant use the dishwasher until you go shopping sometime the following day. Just a tablet a day would make all the difference! Kitchen could use a few more utensils to make things a little easier.

A peaceful hideaway close to beach with a sweet little courtyard. Rooms with comfortable king beds.

Not as bright as pictured. Had a mildewy smell to it - soft furnishings and carpets all affected by this, felt like whole property needed deeper clean and more attention to detail this department.

Location close to Tallow Beach. Good size with 3 spacious bedrooms. Full amenities provided.

Coffee machine not working well, no toilet paper. The carpeting was very dusty. My son did huge allergy and obliged to go to GP to get eye drops for him... :(

Its proximity to stunning Tallow Beach is the best thing about this house

House has a musty smell and is much darker inside than appears in the photos
