Amazing location, very clean, easy check-in and friendly communication ahead of time.

You could hear lots of sounds of the house at night which did not make the night as restful as I had hoped. Barely any sound from the street though.

Sin duda lo mejor de este alojamiento es la ubicación, pues se encuentra muy céntrico, en una calle que nace de Main Street (la principal calle comercial de Gibraltar). Se trata de un edificio que anteriormente debió ser de viviendas y se ha convertido en alojamiento turístico; motivo por el cual no cuenta con ascensor (tipología tradicional de bloque de viviendas en casco antiguo). Nuestra habitación era de reducidas dimensiones pero contaba con una cama doble, espacio para colgar la ropa (no armario), mesa de escritorio y un baño (con ducha). La habitación era modesta pero cumplía con todos los requisitos que se pueden necesitar. El personal respondía rápido a los mensajes que dejábamos por booking; fueron muy amables.

La habitación volcaba a la calle y estaba en la primera planta, por lo que varias noches el camión de la basura/limpieza viaria nos despertó (el alojamiento es conocedor de ello y deja tapones como obsequio). El baño estaba vacío: no había bote de gel, ni de champú, ni pastilla de jabón de manos. Al principio tampoco encontramos el papel higiénico pero lo solicitamos vía correo de booking y nos trajeron en seguida; los encargados están atentos. Si llevas maleta el no tener ascensor es un poco molesto pero, considerando la ubicación/precio, creo que este alojamiento merece la pena.

Really enjoyed the stay! Great location - in the heart of city centre! The area is very calm and nice, the host is very friendly and helpful! The room was very clean and comfortable having all the amenities and facilities needed (and nice interior design). Thanks and recommend it!

We were allowed to access our room earlier. It was perfectly clean and very cosy, the room cleaner is a very nice person. The accomodation is located in the center, find it via map by searching the address, there is no sign that indicates there is a guest house.

I arrived early and was able to gain access to my room. The staff member (sorry I didn't catch your name) gave some really great advice about where to visit and where to eat. Also recommended the buses to get around, which I used and loved. Loved the M&S coffee that was in the room. My bed was so comfy and the shower pressure was perfect.

I would recommend earplugs. It is close to the Main Street and so noise at night is expected.

A cozinha poderia estar melhor equipada, com mais copos, pratos e talheres.

Great location, bed very comfortable, nice bathroom, kitchen good.

Street outside was a little noisy but didn’t prevent us sleeping.

If you want to be just off mainstreet, then a perfect location Earplugs are supplied.........

What a wonderful little hideaway for a break in the centre of Gibraltar. We picked Engineer Lane House due to its central location as we were visiting family. The property was small, great for a couple but very cosy. The hosts were fantastic from start to finish and made the entire booking stress free. The property was about a 30-second walk to Main Street and we had everything we needed within a few minutes walk. We would happily stay here again in the future when we look to return.

Due to the central location its to be expected that there was some noise, particularly during the later hours (due to the night-time economy) and early mornings (with people travelling to work etc.). This is out of the hosts control and didn't trouble us, but it's something to be mindful of. We came prepared with our own but the hosts kindly provided ear plugs so we slept fine.

Clean and cosy, easy check-in. The bed is comfortable, the linen good quality.

The shower room has no ventilation so everything smells. The towels smells horrible. Being hot and no AC, we was forced to let the window open so it was very noisy even during the night.

Great room, great location

Nice, big room, well equipped. Earpods against the noise of the streets. No A/C, just a fan, but was enough.

The check out time was way too early. It was my fault that I didn't check it before, but I wouldn't think that 10:30 in the morning is an acceptable check out time.

Great location first and foremost easily to get to the house from town or beach. I was pleasantly impressed to see the room/kitchen is so well equipped. Definitely a holiday saver. Very clean room and bathroom with own cleaning products provided. Love the mini booklet with some nice information.

I found the location ideal, close to the main shopping street and restaurants. The road can be abit noisy, but I was out at a wedding so I returned late.

There is nothing I did not like, the room was clean etc, the check was in abit confusing, but when I called the number and the lady sent me the details it went very smooth. One thing, a bigger ironing board.

Location, help from the owner to check in. It was okay to stay for one night. Nice Asian restaurant at the street level with excellent food.

No air conditions, the ceiling fan and an electric fan couldn’t cope with 30+ deg C and difficult to sleep. The bed was only double. Would have been nice to leave water in the fridge it costs only 30p.

The location was great. The apartment was comfy with everything we needed.

Ventilation for bathroom. We stayed on the hotest days of the year so far and it was the only part of the apartment without a fan or window.

The owners did everything they could to make the stay good.
