We had a family wedding on Wyndham Mountain and this house was a perfect place for our family to stay.

House was nice! Only issue is the description called out 2bunks and double futon. So we ended with one on the floor because of this. Otherwise very close to everything but away and peaceful. I would rent again

We enjoyed Chateau Bond very much. It was perfect for our 2 grandchildren along with the other adults. We had our son’s wedding to attend in the area, the space we had in the bedrooms and bathrooms were very accommodating for everyone to get ready! Lovely wooded location and the area is very peaceful. The price also is very reasonable ! The house was clean, very clear instructions giving and although we did not have time, the fireplace and grill were made available for us to use.

We had a wonderful time at this property which is about a 5 minute drive to Windham Mountain. The upstairs has a large bedroom and adjacent full bath with open kitchen, dining and family room. Kitchen is well stocked and fireplace worked great! My kids loved the down stairs bedroom and hangout area with video games. The owners are super responsive and communicative. I'd definitely stay here again.

The property is just as shown online. Very cozy. It was a great experience. We had 7 family members and plenty of room for everyone. Close to restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay again!

This property worked out perfectly for our little family. There was plenty of room. The property felt very "homey." It was comfortable enough to have a baby, a puppy, and a family gathering to watch the Bills. The fall time was perfect to see the changing colors and we were close enough to enjoy our family wedding. Thank you very much.

Great rental very near Windham Mountain
I rented this house with two friends for a ski weekend at Windham and Hunter. It was clean and comfortable, with three roomy bedrooms (plus another with bunk beds for kids), working fireplace, and plenty of wood on hand. It was a five-minute drive to Windham, and Hunter is about twenty minutes away. It was great to get to ski two different mountains in two days.

2nd annual trip
The owner was always in contact with information and updates. We enjoyed staying here and the beds were super comfortable. We love the neighborhood and the walks after dinner with the kids. The deck is lovely for cooking and enjoying the time outside.

Great place!
We had a great week. The house is fantastic. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. We enjoyed a week of relaxation, playing board games, playing cards, reading, hikes to Katterskill Falls, The Windham Path, Mountain Top Abouretum, The Escarpment Trail, and a trip to Howe Caverns. A week without emails and schedules was just what the doctor ordered.
We made great use of the kitchen and ate very well this week. I really appreciated the well seasoned cast iron and the bbq on the deck.
Be sure to check out the neighbors wolf! 🤣

Windham weekend
Owners were responsive and extremely accommodating allowing a late checkout so we could enjoy a good part of the day we were checking out. Location is excellent, close to town for fresh coffee, liquor store and well stocked food market. Interior of home is a bit dark . No AC but fans adequately circulated cool air. Recommended for family gatherings or getaway!

We had an awesome time at chateau Bond. Perfect location between Hunter and Windham mountains made morning commutes effortless. Plenty of space for our group to spread out and relax after a day skiing.

Birthday weekend getaway
The owners were super nice and great. They answered any and all questions and concerns we may have had and were available and responsive immediately. The house made you feel like you were right at home. Upon arrival there was a dusting of snow and on the day we departed we awoke to a small snowfall. It did rain unfortunately for the other day we were there, but the fire in the fireplace was the highlight of our celebration. We did encounter a small shock to find 2 rooms not cleaned to their full potential, however, we contacted the owner and she was apologetic and was able to assist us as to how to resolve the issue, other than that we had a good time enjoying ourselves for our short stay.

We came up for a family weekend away. We LOVED the house. The house is so close to so many great attractions. The house was clean and the open layout upstairs is perfect for families. The fireplace was a great addition! Would definitely come back again!

Get back to nature
Chateau Bond is a great location for you and your family to get back to nature. The downstairs of the house is ideal for kids, while the upstairs is perfect for adults. The fireplace is a wonderful feature, to warm you up after those long hikes in the nearby Elm Ridge Wild Forest. Deer, chipmunks, rabbits and squirrels romp around and drink from the tiny stream in back of the cabin. And the town and everything in it is located on nearby Rt. 23. Truly a great location for nearby skiing and getting back to nature.

Our overall experience at Chateau Bond was great! It was cozy! The location was peaceful and centrally located for the things we wanted to do and the house had everything we needed!

The house is so cozy and Sarah was so helpful, we had a problem with the internet (even tho there was instructionS on the fridge door ) she was so kind Directing us.

We had a nice time staying at this property. The view from the back porch was lovely and made it feel like we were deep in the woods. The location was close to many hiking trails. We were less impressed with the cleanliness of the home and had some issues with the WiFi.

Clean, Charming house in the Hudson Valley
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah and Steve’s home. Foremost, the house was extremely cozy and well appointed. We love to cook and they have a beautiful gas grill and lots of pots/pans/kitchen tools. The main bedroom has a great King Sized bed and lots of drawers. BOTH living rooms are really comfortable and we loved making fires in the fireplace. If you have a ton of devices, the internet can be a bit slow. Luckily, they have a landline phone in the home so if you don’t get great cell service, you can use their home phone. Overall, we loved our stay and we’ll be eager to return.

We had such a pleasant stay! The home was clean, sunny and situated on a beautiful property. The deck was a lovely place to sit with the dogs and enjoy nature! Sarah was such a pleasure. Her communication was amazing and sincere. We hope to stay here in the future!
