Le Tiltn Hiltn, une belle maison au bord du lac est l'un des endroits les plus proches de la ville pour votre commodité. Situé sur «l'eau la plus calme» de Big Creek sur le lac Norris, par rapport à d'autres locations de vacances. Profitez du porche couvert pour voir le lever et le coucher du soleil. Cette maison immaculée peut accueillir jusqu'à 14 personnes. Au niveau inférieur se trouve une salle familiale / de divertissement entièrement meublée avec télévision, lecteur DVR, WII et table de baby-foot ainsi qu'un canapé-lit et un canapé. Le niveau supérieur comprend une suite parentale avec lit king size et salle de bain complète donnant sur les eaux bleues claires du lac Norris. La deuxième chambre comprend deux lits superposés et un lit double, tandis que la troisième chambre comprend deux lits queen-size. Toutes les chambres comprennent une télévision. We had a great time at lake Norris. House was good. A few minor things needed repaired. (Toilet paper holders, fridge shelves and microwave handle). Not a big deal to us! Beds were comfy and had plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the hot tub! We love being able to walk down to Froggies and the marina! I would stay here again

I’m right now washing everything because I’m concerned about bedbugs as the place was so beyond dirty. We thought we had the wrong house because there was trash laying on the patio, the trash cans were overflowing in the driveway, there was a washer and dryer on the patio and one on the other side of the trash, there were stains all over the floors and walls, there was a napkin and qtip under the master bed. The tv and WiFi worked 1 time. The place is not at all like the picture. There were 10 vacuum cleaners in the corner when you walked in, every bathroom toilet paper holder was broken, the shower curtain was full of mold. And we spent $350 on a cleaning fee???? The place is DIRTY! We wore our shoes and looked away because we were concerned about the cleaning crew coming in while we were gone. I sent a complaint as I was leaving yesterday and still no response and also called, still no response. The bad reviews are all true.

The house met our needs perfectly. It was equipped well, and we liked the location. However, the floor was filthy, the toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned and there were chips left from previous visitors under the table. Everything else was great, but definitely need to have someone better do the cleaning.

The home has been beautifully remodled. 3 bedrooms upstairs plus bunkroom and downstaurs teenagers had all to theirselves with ouw lounging area that goes out to covered pirch and hot tub over looking lake and marina. You have own dock and swimming ( floating for me) area the kiddos loved. Close enough to marina to enjoy all the music. Great food there, we had burgers, po'boys and salads. We rented paddleboards. Close enough to let teenagers walk around as good lighting and can see everything from this lication. Kids would swing at marina late hours on front porch ..Great time. Its a golf cart, side by side area so bring your toy. Boat launch 1/2 block prior to house. Perfect location, short walk to house.
Now the downfalls cause you gotta have them right? No pot holders and old school Mr Coffeemaker ( i love but im classic) teenagers love their Pods..
We travel, we travel ALOT and the grandkids have already asked to stay here again So Whittman Marina and Bhavin we shall see you again. Awesome start of Summer with birthday and fathers day at the Tiltn Hiltn.

Upon checking in trash cans outside we’re still full from last family. Hot tub had not been cleaned. No safety railings inside house as you were going up and down the steps, a mildew odor in the basement bedroom bunk room. And the steps outside going down to the dock on the water covered in poison ivy, unsafe and worst of all did not go all the way down to the dock. As most people would be wearing flip-flops to get on a boat. I never dreamed the steps did not go all the way to the dock. The only thing you had to step on, were huge boulder rocks very slippery. If my son-in-law had not caught me I would’ve been hurt bad. We stopped in the marina and asked if someone could service the hot tub. No one showed up the first day the second day I inquired again a young kid named Isaiah went up, took the lid off of the drainer for the hot tub and took the lid with him so the hot tub could not be refilled without the cap. The third day I went back to the marina and asked if they were ever going to clean the hot tub. Isaiah left did not tell anyone he did not finish the job. He said that should be obvious and I should watch the way I was talking to him. When it’s 4 o’clock he’s done he goes home. I simply asked why didn’t you inform the crew that you had not finished your job he said that they should’ve now we will never be back to this property again. Poor management, and extremely lazy help

Property was steps away from the Marina, which was great for our large group to get to for a boat rental and dinner at Froggies Bar. Home was large and spacious. The dock is not the most easily accessible. You have to go down rocks and then jump over to it. We did encounter cleanliness and Maintenance issues that should have been addressed prior to a guest check in. It was handled finally during the stay though. If you’re looking for a place to hold a lot of people and use the marina this is convenient. I would not recommend for a stay where you’re wanting to sit around in the home and use the dock.

This house is right next to the Marina which is great since we rented a boat each day. The house was recently renovated which but there were some issues. I would stay here again though and everyone in our group agreed.

The house was nice and big for a large group of people! Great location right next to the marina. The stairs to the dock were worn down and a little sketchy. We just rented a boat for the days we were there. The air did not work too well, but seemed to be getting fixed. We had a great trip and even enjoyed some live music and food at the marina!

The house was nice. The stairs to the rock wall to the floating dock were a bit scary. I did not realize when booking that the floating dock was not connected to the stairs. Do you have to climb over some rocks to get there so if you’re not young and athletic, don’t plan on going to the dock.

Not the greatest stay we have ever had. We ran into quite a few issues. Trash was left at the property, things were already broke, and the swim dock was very unsafe getting to. Had to jump across to it after getting to it by rocks. My mom fell getting to it. Very unsafe, it needed stairs to the dock. Listing did not specify that…
Did not get a key for the house to lock it when we left until the last day.
Overall it was okay but not the best trip. A lot of issues.. not very happy about the stay. But the location was beautiful!

Our group had a fun stay at this VRBO. Great location next to the marina and bar (also owned by the renter).
Likely a great spot for adult parties looking to enjoy the lake and atmosphere. Great staff at the marina/bar. Conditional issues were my only concern with the property. Not because they detracted from our stays enjoyment as much as they generated concern we may have been potentially blamed for them.

We have never been to Norris Lake before so this was all new! I recommend hitting up the grocery store before you head to the house. This is out in the middle of nowhere and the outside of these houses look a little skeptical. Once you get inside, the house is beautiful and up to date. The view is gorgeous. You can swim & fish right off of the dock at this house, and just walking distance from the marina. Once you get to this house, walk to the marina to get the keys, and heads up there is no cell service, so remember this before you get their or there might not be a way to communicate.
Another thing that I would have liked to know before visiting...a local told me there is nothing to do at Norris Lake besides the lake, so I would suggest be prepared to rent a boat right by the marina & be on the water. There is also a hiking opportunity called "Devils racetrack" that has beautiful scenery.
This is a very redneck town but a hidden gem! We were sad to leave and would come back!!!
If you are looking for a coffee shop go to manahouse coffee and for icecream go to Mugs.

The inside of the house has been updated recently. It was very pretty and comfortable. Lots of sleeping space and a big island in the kitchen. All the appliances could use an update but overall it worked for us. Teens had a nice space downstairs while the adults and kids were upstairs.
You have to drop your trailer and boat at the loading area before you get to the house! Do not drive down the road to the house with your boat!

House was very nice. Plenty of room for the family. Would have been nice to have blackout curtains though in the bedrooms. The sunshine was awesome, but you was up with it every morning when it hit you. Also it would have been nice to know that you have the boat slips are right in front of you can't swim off the dock. We had to take the boat out just to swim in cleaner water. Other than that it was great

We've stayed at this house many times over the years (we love the location), but unfortunately it's in need of some attention. A bed with a broken support, broken stools at the kitchen table, clogged bathtub, no broom so the floors were pretty gross, and only 3 towels for 7 people (no hand towels or washcloths). Maintenance came and took care of the bathtub quickly, but there's some work that needs to be done to bring this home back up to an acceptable standard.

Just want to say a big thank you to the entire Whitman Hollow Team. Great people, team, and service. Rental boats are also 5 star. Great atmosphere down at Froggie’s bar. Only downside or upside for some is there was little to no wifi and cell connection. Overal 5 stars. Can’t wait to be back.

Tilton Hilton was a fine place to stay. The owner was easy to work with...we ended up showing up around 1am the night before and he was fine with that. We did not park the boat at our dock but parked it at Whitman hollow marina which is just walking distance away. You can hear the music at night from the marina so that was a surprise for us. The garbage disposal did have a funny smell when we got there so I’m not sure what that was about.

For the most part we were extremely pleased with our stay. There is no longer an air hockey table, and while the property manager said it was safe to swim off the dock there were signs indicating not to, so we chose better safe than sorry… but, other than those two things we were extremely pleased!

We were informed that we couldn’t check in until 4 pm. Arrived at 4 pm to find office closed. Finally found someone to give us a key. Informed that someone was living in the downstairs of house with a large dog. The master bedroom bed had been slept in & sheets not changed. Dirty used towels were thrown across towel rack in bathroom. There were no serving bowls, mixing bowls, etc. of any kind. The queen beds nearly fell in. I’ve seen better towels at the Goodwill. Very disappointed in the conditions that were left for us to use.
