Comfortable 2nd floor accommodations among the pines and residential neighborhood, full kitchen, strong shower, working washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, large shaded covered deck amenable to bird watching and listening, relaxing, and outdoor meals. Note; the stair steps are of maximum height and plentiful. The spacious public beach is easily accessible by foot and becomes wilder walking eastward. Pirate's Cove Bar & Grill is less than a mile down the road and Skinner's Seafood, 2 bird sanctuaries, and gift shops are close by. Cooking supplies may not fit everyone's needs and I was glad to bring my own. Internet access works well, the TV streaming options are limited, and the DVD player works fine. I contacted Joy once and she graciously responded within an hour. We would happily rent this place again.

The place is a little dated. Everything was well maintained and clean. The location is secluded and quiet. A little walk or drive to the public beach access. Overall, the rental surpassed my expectation.

The house is centrally located and secluded. Minimal traffic and very little noise (except some construction work on nearby houses during the week). The house is perfect for 2 people and is pet friendly. The yard has a fence but it is falling down in some places. Unless you have an off-leash trained dog, I would recommend keeping them on a long line to go potty. My husband enjoyed hanging out on the porch in the chair. Stairs are a little hard if you have mobility issues, but they are manageable. If you're just looking for a place to stay and don't care about the fancy frilly stuff, this place is ideal. We didn't need to pay extra for fancy stuff like at other places. The house fit our needs well and I would recommend staying there again.

The house is nice, and cozy. However to our surprise there was people going under the house. The cottage was booked most of our w week stay. Im sorry but that was invasive and no getting around it! The stairs go up to the back of the house! We never dreamed that people would be there and theres no privacy at all! We did our best to not make them feel awkwardly. The house itself was fine. A hottub would be nice! The silverware and kitchen utensils are cheap and very hard to cook with! I would say new pots and pans and nice silverware. The owner was nice enough, i would book again if suggestions were addressed.

Quite neighborhood closer to the Island and bars live it definitely cone again highly recommended thank you

A little disappointed in the condition of the fence as we had small dogs with us

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. It's an older home nestled among tall trees, and close enough to the public beach for very easy access. The home is well-supplied and the beds are very comfortable. It's dog-friendly. And the owner is always very kind and responsive. Although the house appeared to be clean there was a musty smell, especially in the bathroom. Perhaps a deep clean is in order?
