This was the perfect beach house for our family! Three generations, 6 adults and children 6 and 9. The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated and just enough of everything you need. Add good food, drink and great weather and a short walk to the beach and it adds up to the ideal summer vacation. Would love to come back. Thanks, Kathy!

Our weekend was great! The house is so cute and great for a group of friends. Location is excellent and the house was very clean. The home owner was extremely helpful and provided fabulous recommendations. We will definitely be back!

We (9 adults, 2 young children & a dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. 1 block from the ferry, and one more block to the beach. The house itself easily accommodated our large group, and we especially enjoyed the large living room area and the wraparound deck. Having a wagon, beach chairs & 2 beach umbrellas made beach life a breeze, and we were able to use the outdoor grill with no problem. Our host was easy to contact and helpful.
One downside for us is that my husband has mobility issues and the bedrooms and bathrooms all required him to climb stairs, which had railings and we knew this when we agreed to rent this house. He made the best of it, and I only mention it in case another renter has difficulties with stairs, or uses a walker like my husband.
2 other things to point out are no A/C in main living area ( all bedrooms DO have A/C) and couches were not comfortable.
Overall, I highly recommend this place- great location, friendly, helpful host, more than adequate beach supplies, well equipped kitchen (with 2 refrigerators!), and great outdoor living space with comfortable furniture. Would love to spend another week here!

Kathy was great and made check in and check out a breeze. House was exactly as described and we had an amazing stay at this house with a large group. Plenty of space and lots of fun! Will definitely be staying here again if possible!

Accommodations were sweet and cozy. Deck chairs provided a nice comfortable option in the evenings except for the mosquitoes who were uninvited.
This home is lovely but is in need of a deep cleaning or change out of rugs and slip covers. The pots and pans were burned / scarred and oven needed a good cleaning. The yard could also be more manicured and neat
Our host was lovely and accommodating however. She worked promptly with VRBO when our first day was overbooked and got us our refund right away. Just a few tweaks and we would surely return.

We had a great time despite some rainy weather! The house was beautiful and perfect for our Mom's 80th birthday gathering. Kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking together and hanging out in the open floor plan living room. We played games and shared meals on the big dining room table. Loved the decks and the short walk to the beach. Easy communication with the homeowner, too!

Stayed here with a group of friends all in our mid 30s. The house was lovely - plenty of space for all. The outside porch was awesome. Had everything we needed in terms of kitchen appliances and plate ware. We cooked a bunch, used the grill, it was great. The location is person - steps to the beach and steps to the ferry. We went “off season” after Labor Day but the island was still very much alive and fun! Kathy was fabulous with communication and asserting questions we had (grocery delivery, ferry schedules etc.) Great house, recommend !

Our family had a fantastic time staying her. The house had plenty of space for everyone and everything we needed. It was beautifully decorated and we all enjoyed our stay. And the location was exactly what we were looking for.

The house is clean, spacious, and was perfect for a stay of 10. Kathy was a great host even when we had an issue that was our fault, she was understanding and kind. Definitely recommend renting this home!

This house was perfect for our group of friends for a girls trip. Plenty of space, beautiful outside deck, great location. The manager Kathy was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. We had a great stay at her house!

Excellent Beach House
We absolutely loved our Memorial Day weekend stay at Kathy’s property for my bachelorette party. The house was clean and perfect for a group of 13 ladies all in their late 20’s-early 30’s. There was one minor issue upon arrival, but Kathy was quick to respond to our call and sent someone over to fix it within the hour. What more could you ask for from a host! The location was perfect distance from the ferry and the ocean… and the deck was the absolute best part! I’m a long-time OBP visitor and this house has BY FAR the best deck of any house I’ve ever stayed in.
I can’t wait to book another stay at Kathy’s Seneca property in the future. Thank you for everything!!!

Overall it was great.
Overall great location and nice space. Sunny deck was nice. Master bed was great - others reported beds were not comfortable. No beach towels provided. No hair dryer. No bath soap - only hand soap dispenser. Otherwise we were happy with it.

Great house true to photos.
Location was perfect! 4 min walk to Ferry, 5 minutes to beach, 3 minutes to Flynn’s and only a 30 min walk to Ocean Beach!!!
Rooms are spacious and cool with AC in each. All but the master are on the lower level. Living area on the main floor was perfect for my party of 12! Decks and outdoor seating on that level awesome. Master with it’s own bathroom sweet!
My only complaint is I wish there was AC on the main level but the ocean breeze through all the doors and windows kept it cool! If Kathy added a jacuzzi this place would never be available so not sure if I should make that suggestion.?!

Fire Island Weekend
A group of friends and I had a great time at this property. The house was huge and very nice on the inside, everything was very clean. Plenty of beds for a group of 12! Amazing porch with grill and 2 tables plus lounge chairs. No music allowed out there but that was no problem. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of cleaning supplies. There were tons of beach chairs and boogie boards. The location was just a few minute walk from the beach and ferry. The host was very accommodating and answered very quickly. Overall a great experience and would recommend!

Fun weekend away
Brought my daughter(15) with a few friends to celebrate her birthday. Also came with my other daughter (12) who brought a friend. Kathy was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed upon arrival. We truly enjoyed our stay and the house had everything we needed. Very spacious - everyone had plenty of space and the upstairs had a beautiful cool breeze!

Nice and roomy
The house came with more than we realized. We had gone to the Outer Banks in previous years and had to bring literally everything. Dish soaps, tp, salt, pepper, some spices, and beach gear all provided at this house, which was a nice surprise. There are nice, clean linens and lots of outdoor space to hang.

Perfect getaway spot!
House is exactly as pictured! The wrap around deck is perfect for a group to lounge and BBQ. Great location between the beach, easy walk to the ferry, schooners and Flynn’s! Kathy was a welcoming host that ensured we had everything we needed and very easy to communicate with and accommodating.

Love this house!
This home was beautiful. Very spacious upstairs area, and plenty of bedrooms. Everything was clean & stocked. My friends and I were able to use the beach chairs and wagon the home owner has. She was a pleasure, & answered any questions very quickly. I would highly recommend this house for vacation!

Ant infested
Unfortunately this very pretty house was infested with ants. All over the kitchen counter, the floors, the bathroom. We ended up leaving a night early. We have friends who stayed in another house & did not have this problem.

Pandemic Family Vacation
Kathy was so responsive to my many questions it relieved so much pressure for this trip. The property was as advertised and the location was great. There was an extra fridge so we did not have to keep buying ice for the cooler. We were able to have a great vacation at this challenging time.

Perfection
Beautiful home with great layout for optimum space. Owner is wonderful and attentive. This was my fifth trip to FI, first in this house. It was also the very first time there were no issues with appliances, plumbing, cleanliness, etc. Five stars all around, highly recommend 😊
