MAISON FANTASTIQUE et un EMPLACEMENT IDÉAL dans le DISTRICT HISTORIQUE. Au-delà de la porte arrière, vous pouvez marcher 60 étapes faciles pour entrer dans Carroll Creek et accéder à l'un des grands restaurants, pubs, boutiques d'antiquités, musées d'histoire, bibliothèque, théâtre, etc.!
Venez séjourner dans cette GRANDE maison en rangée 3BR 2BA et profitez de tout ce que le centre-ville de Frederick a à offrir depuis cet emplacement central. Profitez de l'un des grands festivals ou événements du comté de Frederick, ou en plein centre-ville de Frederick on the Creek. Idéal pour le voyageur d'affaires ou pour une escapade d'un week-end! Notre maison a été construite en 1860 et a des planchers en bois d'origine partout, un salon et une salle à manger formels au niveau principal et une cuisine entièrement utilisable. La laveuse et la sécheuse sont hors de la cuisine si nécessaire. Il y a une salle de bain complète au niveau principal et une salle de bain complète au niveau supérieur. A l'étage, vous avez 3 chambres de bonne taille et l'une des chambres a des lits superposés. La chambre arrière a un balcon privé donnant sur le patio qui est agréable (voir photos).
Écoutez l'un des événements Alive at Five directement depuis le balcon ou dans l'arrière-cour.
L'une de mes caractéristiques préférées est la cour arrière entièrement clôturée et dotée d'un grand patio. C'est un endroit idéal pour s'asseoir et se détendre et profiter de Downtown Living. L'arrière-cour ressemble plus à un cadre de type enclave qui recule vers Carroll Creek et Downtown Frederick.
De cet endroit, vous pouvez marcher 1 pâté de maisons vers le nord jusqu'à "Serenity" qui a récemment ouvert ses portes et est une épicerie / épicerie fine du centre-ville ... si vous avez besoin de quelque chose pendant votre séjour.
C'est également un endroit idéal pour apporter votre vélo, ou faire une longue promenade et explorer le centre-ville de Frederick, Baker Park, Shab Row, etc.! Un pâté de maisons à l'est de cette propriété est le Frederick Visitation Centre et ils ont beaucoup de littérature et d'informations sur tous les événements qui se déroulent dans le centre-ville de Frederick tout au long de l'année ou visitez leur site

A perfect location in Frederick. The Carroll Creek Canal is right behind the house and is beautifull! Aaron gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat. The house is older but clean, tidy and comfortable.
We did use the kitchen to cook and gave Aaron a few pointers to improve what he had for utensils. Overall, I would come back again. Thanks Aaron

The property was very well located and clean. It seemed to need some refreshing with peeling paint, missing knob, insulation stuffed in windows and limited kitchen equipment Bathrooms as mentioned by others were a challenge.

Really enjoyed staying at this property! I was getting married at a nearby venue and really enjoyed the proximity to Carroll Creek, the parking, and the house in general. It was a great place to get ready for the big day.

The location allowed us easy access to Historic District which offered many shops/restaurants/walking areas and enjoyed 2 parking spots. It would have been nice to have ice trays-some way to make ice, more towels (stayed 4 nights and was given 3 bath towels and "1" washcloth), and having 4 chairs around outside patio table (4th was broken). Owner was very responsive.

We had a wonderful time. Within walking distance to Baker Park where they had a festival and fireworks. Great location to enjoy all of Market Street too. We will be coming back soon.

Perfect location for a friends' weekend reunion. Steps out the back door to the creek with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. Extra bonus that there was a great artist fair along the creek while we were there. Definitely a prime location to be in the center of it all!

This is a super comfortable historic home in a perfect location to enjoy a visit to downtown Frederick! It is very well appointed and Aaron was a very responsive host. Especially enjoyed the two staircases, the comfortable living areas, the large private patio area and the Pacman game! Would definitely stay here again!

The property is in a good location for walking around downtown Frederick. Overall, it was clean. The bedrooms are fine and the patio was nice, but the bathrooms are a joke. So small! No wonder there are no pictures of them in the listing.

We stayed a week for April vacation, and the apartment was perfectly located for day trips to all historic locations. The house was very quaint and clean and the location next to Carroll Creek in downtown Frederick couldn’t be beat. It was just a short walk to all shops and restaurants, and we would definitely return. A perfect stay for Civil War buffs!

Girls trip to Frederick to see a performance at the Weinberg Center. The house is charmingly funky with tons of character and historical / original touches. It’s been recently painted / decorated. The location for downtown is perfect; it’s safe, right by the creek and it took about 4 minutes to walk to Isabella’s, the Weinberg Center and The Bakehouse respectively. The host is an excellent communicator and highly responsive. We’ve already decided to book here again. Highly recommend!

We were looking for an area that we could experience a bunch of microbreweries all in close proximity to one another and walking distance to the breweries. This home was exactly what we wanted! The Carroll Creek district is a fun, safe area that is within easy walking distance of many great eateries. We even were able to sneak away on a blustery, snowy Saturday morning to get some history in at Harper's Ferry a short 30 minute drive away. It was a perfect location for what we were interested in!

We had such a wonderful time here. It is just steps from Carroll Creek and S. Market St. where all the action is. House was clean, beautiful and we loved the 1861 built charm. 2 parking spots in the back are a huge asset as you are downtown and street parking is limited. There is a parking garage very close but who wants to tote your luggage that far? :) We went walking for festivities and then came back to the house multiple times for breaks and rest as it was so close to everything. We booked Fourth of July on our ride back because we were so impressed.

Yes, read the other mentions about the stairs. But if you’re reasonably fit it’s not any problem. And the back stairs have a railing that makes them quite navigable.
We never use the front door; we just went out the back door, through the lovely patio, and into Carol Creek and all the wonderful shops and eateries.
In terms of cleaning fees vs tasks the host requests you do before departing we were asked to make sure the dishes were clean and put away, to strip the beds and put all the sheets and towels in a garbage bag. Nothing more.
The beds were comfortable and since I love historic houses it’s a simple thumbs up for me. Because of the time of year we didn’t get to enjoy the back patio very much. I’m sure this place is equally delightful or even better in seasons other than winter

Very convenient to the area along the creek, including all the restaurants/breweries. Plenty of space for me and my sister, and having dedicated parking was great. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was incredible!!! Steeped in great history and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants made this the perfect space for our Fall family getaway. There was a minor concern when checking in- I was able to get in touch with Aaron and he was courteous and helpful, even followed to ensure we were satisfied!!! We will definitely consider staying here again!!!

This home is in a great location in Downtown Frederick. We were in town for a wedding and we were very pleased with our stay. The only thing to note is that the bathrooms are rather small and there is not much counter space in the kitchen. We would stay there again.

Cute Townhome in fantastic location to walk Frederick. As described - it is an old building - the bathrooms are tiny - so be aware if you are a medium or large size person. The owner was available for questions. Nice little place for a weekend in Frederick.

The location was absolutely perfect! We were right next to the water walkway and we were able to walk to dinner on market street. Only issue we ran into was check in but after reaching out to the host they quickly rectified it.

This is such a sweet place to stay. Don’t let the townhome detour you, it has all the charm, cleanliness and comfort and so close to the River walk with great restaurants and walking/bike paths. Our stay was superb!!

Weekend Getaway
The property was in a great location. Close to everything downtown. The house was as advertised and everything we needed. Had a beautiful enclosed patio out back. Homeowner was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to restaurants and bars, shopping
Great location to restaurants and bars out the back door, but from front door not as appealing due to social services offices on street. AC unit downstairs not working upon our arrival, and was replaced after 3 days, thankfully before it got really hot again and we really needed it as only 2 windows in house opened and there were no functioning screens in those windows. Advertised 2 queen beds, but the second bedroom was a double bed, unfortunate for our group. Fridge door was difficult to close correctly. We had difficulty figuring out how to lock door (no instructions, seemed to be new key pad) and we had to google instructions since we were trying to leave to explore and didn't get response right away (which was incorrect response when it came anyway). Construction right next door and in another building nearby, can't help it but it affected our comfort while at the house. Could use some updating with decor, sheets, light fixture coverings, and a deep cleaning. Overall we had a nice week long family stay, but it could have been better with just a few improvements.

Historic property in great location
If you want to enjoy all that the Carroll Creek Promenade has to offer, this is the property for you. Great location for enjoying shops, restaurants and breweries. Construction is currently going on near property so it was difficult to enjoy the spacious patio during the day, but great at night. No central air, but window units did the trick fairly well.
