Cette maison de 3000 pieds carrés sur la rivière Rio Grande est parfait pour votre grande famille ou groupe. Pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 15 lits. L'espace ne sera jamais un problème. Détendez-vous dans le bain à remous sur la rivière Rio Grande avec de belles vues sur la montagne. Promenez-vous sur la rivière sur votre promenade privée. Première chambre a un lit king size, ainsi que d'un lit double avec une télévision à écran plat. Attaché Salle de bain principale. La deuxième chambre a un lit King size et une télévision à écran plat. Troisième chambre a 2 lits queen / couchettes doubles et d'une télévision à écran plat. Une salle de bain complète est partagée entre la chambre 2 et 3. Il y a aussi une salle d'eau. La mezzanine dispose de 2 lits queen, table de billard et canapés. Surdimensionné 30 'X 40' garage pour hiver et d'été VTT, motoneiges, bateaux et bien sûr vos véhicules. Pas besoin d'enlever la tempête de deux pieds qui a chuté sur votre véhicule pendant la nuit.

Although the showers have been updated, it was clear upon arrival that the house needs some attention and tender loving care! This was our third time to stay at the house and we were surprised and disappointed to see there were issues that had still not been resolved since our last visit in 2019. I’m not comfortable posting them all here but am sending a private message to the host. Despite our disappointment with the house, we enjoyed our time in beautiful South Fork.

We had a wonderful stay at the Elk River House!! It had such a beautiful view of the mountains and the Rio Hrande River was right out the back door. We enjoyed fishing in the river and the kiddos enjoyed the hot tub and making smores in the evening. It was so relaxing and the weather was so comfortable to sit out on the porch.
We would definitely recommend a stay at the Elk River House!!

The home was pretty and conveniently located. It had plenty of room with comfortable beds. The hottub needs some attention, as not all of the jets work. But that didn't stop us from enjoying it.

Elk River House is amazing! It is in a beautiful location right on the river. Very spacious and it worked out for all of us. The decor is spot on for the area and that staircase is a work of art! The kitchen and dinner room is spacious and fully equipped.
We enjoyed sitting on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub and watching the river flow by.
JoyceAnn is a great host and communication was flawless. Noticed that we were out of propane for the BBQ the first night and they ran over to make sure we could BBQ our steaks.
I highly recommend booking this house! You won't be disappointed.

This house was beautiful and spacious. My husband and I along with my son and my in laws a total of 15 people had plenty of room. The view of the river is amazing. If you meet our little chipmunk friend he likes sunflower seeds, peanuts, and trail mix. You can’t get a squirrel in Texas to trust you like that little chipmunk did. We recommend and would stay here again.

Pictures don’t do this house justice. It’s beautiful inside and out! Plenty of room for our family. Garage is huge and has plenty of space. We used the hot tub each day which was overlooking the river. And it’s only 20 minutes to go ski! Might come back down in the summer to use the back deck and do some fishing. Definitely recommend.

First, I want to thank our host who was so quick to answer any questions we had and was amendable to some changes. Second… wow! What a fun place to stay for some kids and adults. We had a blast just enjoying the scenery and the cabin. Will be coming back!

We have stayed at this property several times and have always enjoyed. This time was no different except that the property definitely needs some maintenance. Dishwasher needs to be mounted, deck needs repair, window shade replaced and window in kitchen repaired. This really did not affect the quality of our stay but at $500+ a night I expect upkeep. I was impressed with new showers and the fire pit. The dog pen was a great addition as well. I also enjoyed the newly planted flower beds. The dog next door was annoying but I understand you have no control over that. Maybe the pooch will be moving because that property is up for sale. House heats up during the day but cools off enough to sleep at night but must keep the windows open. Kitchen was stocked well with utensils and cookware. Overal we really love this property it just needs some tlc on the outside and a few things on the inside. Also could use a good power wash on the outside. The hot tub wired fine but again could use a new cover and some maintenance to the surrounding box thing. We will stay there again.

This property was our family’s favorite rental. The cabin’s floor plan is well thought out for a large family gathering. Great area to explore with lots of fun activities within an hours drive. Hot springs, sand dunes, horseback riding, rail biking, fishing, hiking as so much more. Highly recommend,

My friends and I do an annual trip to Wolf Creek and the Elk River House did not disappoint! The beds were clean and comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was enough space for all of us and our dogs to have a great time without stepping on each others' toes! 5 stars, would love to stay here again!

Stayed here through Christmas with my family and couldn’t have been happier. A tree was decorated for us to use as well which was great. We have a big family so sometimes it can be hard to find places that accommodate all of us but this place was perfect. The kids had room to run around and play and the adults had space to relax and let loose. Highly recommend staying here

The home and scenery are beautiful. However the blinds are broken so you can’t open them to enjoy the view.
The home isn’t clean, dust and dirt everywhere. Light bulbs are burnt out.
At this time there is building of other houses going on around the home so it’s a little junkie that way. Neighbors are very close with dogs that bark.
The heat is terrible to deal with in the winter. It doesn’t stay a constant temperature. You go from being way too hot to way too cold. There is a propane stove, however there isn’t anything to protect and keep a 1 year old from getting burned on it.
There aren’t any provisions for babies, no pack and play no gates for the stairs.
We’ve stayed at many homes that offer shampoos, soaps etc. We had to buy TP and hand soap for the bathrooms and good thing we brought all our own toiletries because they don’t offer any. The home sleeps 14 but only offers 7 old, dingy, white bath towels.
The master shower has excellent hot water but the other bathroom shower is barely even warm. The toilet in the master bathroom runs constantly. We would turn it off at night.
We would have rather stayed at a nearby motel.

Perfect location along the South Fork of the Rio Grande. We enjoyed the hot tub, fishing on the river, and roasting marshmallows. Beds were comfortable. Property manager responded to questions quickly.

What a cool place! We had a wonderful time being right on the river. So many things to do. Loved the fire pit! We cooked hotdogs on skewers and sat by the fire watching the stars. House is super spacious and very accommodating. I half way expect places to be dirty since I'm such a clean freak and was pleasantly surprised, it was very clean and tidy. Lots of games and played the heck out of the corn hole set. If you are coffee drinkers, make sure you bring the cone type filters. No need to bring negativity, you will have tons of fun.

Family weekend in South Fork
Our family has one member that is in a wheelchair. The dock on this property gave him the ability to be close to the water without a great deal of difficulty. The property is conveniently located to amenities in town also. Truly a great experience!

This is just what we needed. The house is set up really well for (2) families to visit. The proximity to the stream, and Wolf Creek, made it a perfect location. All utilities and amenities were working and we sincerely enjoyed our visit.

Return visit for skiing!
This was our second time staying here. Its a great cabin and fits our family of 7 perfectly! The hot tub was fantastic! There was tons of snow while we were there and someone even came and cleared the driveway. It was so nice to have the garage to park our car in. The house was clean and beds were very comfortable. We had a minor issue with the thermostats not holding the temp but we text the host and and it was promptly resolved. We will be back next year!

Great Ski House for 11 people
My friends, family, and I stayed here for a ski trip to Wolf Creek. The house was very spacious, had a large kitchen, was well furnished, well-heated, easy to get to, and great for gathering. We enjoyed the hot tub and easy access to the resort. It was close to ski rentals and 20 minutes to Wolf Creek.
I gave it 4/5 stars only because of a few things that needed to be updated/fixed. The single bathroom toilet ran constantly, the garbage disposal was rough, the towels looked old and needed to be replaced, and the pillows were flat and also needed to be replaced.
We would recommend staying here with those things updated!
