We love this little house. It’s in the perfect spot, half mile from the boardwalk with a private beach area (which means no badges and dogs are ok!) and a gorgeous shaded courtyard. We have come two years in a row now and my only wish is that the house were bigger for our growing family. It’s true what people have said about the water pressure and the fairly noisy AC units, but I think the location makes up for it. The master bedroom has a nice alcove where our toddler slept one year and our infant the next when older sis moved up to her own room. Also, Aruna is very hospitable and welcomed us on arrival. We loved biking around town and up to boardwalk! A definite gem in Pt Pleasant. Just wish it were bigger!! :)

My family and I had a wonderful time. 11 of us: 6 adults, 1 teen, 4 kids. 4 bedrms. Parking for 3 cars. Best part: the sliding back door leads right onto the beach and ocean, just feet away. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of excellent, affordable restaurants in town or nearby. Plus, within walking distance is the Pt. Pleasant boardwalk, aquarium, and free fireworks on Thursday nite. The owners -- Aruna and Jay -- are lovely people. Very responsive. Hope to return next summer. Five stars!

We have rented houses in Manasquan, Long Branch and LBI. This home is very special.
It has an expansive, furnished outdoor area with several seating areas. Perfect for watching the sun rise, dining outdoors, and enjoying the sound of the waves.
The private beach area means it’s never crowded, and you will get to know the other beachgoers and their dogs.
Aruna and Jay were easy to reach and available for anything we needed during our stay.
You will have a wonderful time.

Lovely owners, adorable cottage. Amazing beach with convenient steps directly from the house. Impeccably clean house.Great grill, sofas and mattresses in excellent condition. Wonderful outdoor picnic and seating areas.Fireworks right in front of you! Best fish restaurant Point Lobster Company (BYOB)Things to know: very low water pressure, no ice maker, no trolley, no fire pit, loud but very good window air conditioning. Full bathroom upstairs has a very short ceiling shower--an adult male would not be able to use that shower.Families would benefit from and appreciate beach umbrella, board games, beach equipment. A lighter, pen and paper would be great to have. Since pets are allowed, garbage cans with lids should be available. Overall wonderful stay for our first time at the Jersey Shore

House was spartan, a true “beach house”. Water pressure very low, A/C window units very loud. We were unaware we would have to share seating area. A few amenities would have been nice, I.e. toilet paper, paper towels.. loved the easy/short access to beach

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beach house the accommodations were exactly as listed having access to the beach was a huge plus having a 15 month old with us being able to get all that is necessary to the beach , easy walk to the boardwalk

The property is beautiful. The outdoor seating areas nestled among the dunes, evergreen trees and all of the beautiful flowers and plantings made you feel like you were at the mountains and the beach at the same time. Amazing location. Loved the private beach. The hosts, Aruna and Jay were very pleasant.

Private beach & Outdoor space made our trip
I visited with my wife and infant. The immense outdoor space and private beach made the trip with the baby fun and easy. Our dog loved to run on the open beach. We enjoyed coffee and happy hour from the dune dock watching the waves crash and dolphins crest. Truly spectacular setting!

Peaceful, easy feeling
Our first vacation since Covid-19 pandemic hit. The house and surroundings are just as pictured on the rental site. What can't be easily expressed on the rental site are the sounds of the ocean waves and the clean smell of the shore. Lovely in all ways. We especially loved the firepit at nights. That's hard to find near the ocean in NJ. The house is updated but still has the charm of an original shore home. Location was perfect. Close enough to the boardwalk to walk there, but far enough away not to be bothered by the noise. The hosts were very pleasant and readily available if we needed them. But everything you could want was thought of really. We booked already for next year. Try the Poached Pear and Daniel's Bistro for superb dining and the Ark for the best burgers at the shore (or so they were voted). We thought so!

The house is in an amazing location. It is on a beautiful private beach and in a very quiet neighborhood. Yet it is still a short walk to the boardwalk and plenty of activities.The house was exactly as expected and extremely clean. My kids had a great time on the beach and on the boardwalk.

Wonderful location on the Atlantic
The property is excellent with a very thoughtful allocation of the outdoor space between the two houses. We never felt crowded or in anyway affected in sharing the outdoor space and beach front with the other visiting family. The fire pit (one for each visitor) and sitting area at the top of the dune was an excellent place to enjoy the sunrises, beach, water and evenings. We will be looking to return soon!

A slice of heaven
We loved our stay at this beautiful property. The house isn't big or extravagant but very well-kept and had everything we needed. The real treat is the easy access to the beach and the dune decks. We had our two small children with us (age 2 and 3) and they had a blast. We were able to put them down to sleep and enjoy drinking wine on the dune decks every night. The fire pit was a great addition for s'mores every night. We even got to enjoy fireworks from dune deck! Highly recommend this spot for vacation !

Location, Location, Location!
Our family of eight adults, one toddler and a happy hound dog enjoyed a wonderful week here. The highlight was the private beach (so peaceful - and just perfect for our dog). The outdoor seating areas nestled among the dunes were such a treat and the evergreen trees and all of Aruna’s beautiful flowers and plantings made you feel like you were at the mountains and the beach at the same time. We enjoyed breakfast outside every morning while listening to the birds sings and waves crash. The outside grill, dining table and shower were all great. We loved the sand dune fire pit overlooking the ocean but would highly suggest a second fire pit. The folks in the front house monopolized the fire pit and we only got to use it once. Another downside about the outdoor space was the extremely steep incline down to the beach - this was challenging for our 79 year-old Mom. Inside the the house, everything was very clean but a bit dated. The couches in the living room, and the fabric seats in the dining room were both stained and in need of replacement. Smaller dining room chairs would take up less space and be more appropriate in the the very tight dining room. The kitchen, while small, had new appliances and was well equipped. It could use some small size plates, and a few new pans. Bedrooms had plenty of storage and comfy beds - strange that there were no bed spreads or duvet covers, and not a blanket to be found. Washer and Dryer in basement were well used and appreciated! Overall, it was a lovely property and we plan to be back. It was conveniently located to boardwalk, ice cream parlor, and a great organic cafe and the bakery too - what more do you need?!

Point Pleasant Perfection!
I can't say enough good things about Aruna and Jay's property. The house was spotless from top to bottom. The kitchens and bathrooms have been recently updated and all of the appliances were new. We cooked most of our meals in the house (and on the grill) and enjoyed family dinners around the dining room table. All of the beds were very comfortable - we loved waking up to the sound of the ocean in the morning! The owners provided much attention to detail for renters - tons of storage space, room in the cabinets, and plenty of places to sit! The best part of this property is the location! The backyard is private, charming, and has views for days! The beach is clean and beautiful. Having private dune space was great for our multi-generational family to all be able to enjoy the beach. The town of Point Pleasant is just a short drive away and the boardwalk is an easy walk from the house. We liked our stay so much that we've already booked our next trip back to Aruna and Jay's! You really can't go wrong with this rental!

Another fantastic year!
This was our 4th year at this beach house. Once again, everything was perfect. Even the rainy, windy days were okay. They were cozy days...watching the ocean and reading, which are the major reasons we come here. As usual, Aruna and Jay were welcoming and attentive. Jay welcomed us with a mixed berry pie--so yummy. Because of injuries to both knees, I am unable to walk on the sand or go in the ocean. Happily, there are easily accessible seating areas not too far from the house where my husband and I could read, watch the ocean, and have meals.Overall, our visit was another slice of heaven. We have already booked for next year.

Perfect Beach home

Enjoyable family vacation
This was the second time renting this house and it was just as enjoyable as ever. Having the whole family access the private beach area gave us the flexibility to come and go whenever we wanted. Aruna and Jay are very accommodating and helped with any requests we had. The back deck and private dune seating areas are amazing and make this house the perfect summer rental. I’m sure we will be back in years to come.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house. There were plenty of dishes, plenty of towel racks in the bathroom, plenty of benches and chairs around the property, plenty of tv channels if needed, plenty of extra pillows, plenty of night lights on the walkways. None of these things would make it a horrible vacation if they weren't there, but they were added niceties that really made the stay that extra special.
We were late checking in because of traffic, but Jay was right there to show us around and answer any questions.
We had 3 generations there. My mother, who has Parkinson's can't walk in the sand very well. The dune deck was great. She could still see the ocean and her grandchildren (and husband) playing in the waves. The table right outside the door is lower so you can't see the ocean from it, but you can hear it. It was a very enjoyable place for morning coffee and evening gatherings.
Highly recommend this beach house. Having your own stretch of private beach was so nice not to have others right on top of you. Kids could play frisbee on the beach with no danger of hitting anyone. My father wants me to book next year's stay here already!

Wonderful vacation at the beach!
Our family had a memorable and relaxing week at the beach. The house was perfect for adults and children. It was immaculate and very comfortable. The location couldn’t be any better - walking distance from the boardwalk yet private and quiet. Being right on the private beach made it so easy with our 3 year old and 1 year old. We loved our week at the beach!

Great Vacation Beach House
Just had a wonderful week in Point Pleasant Beach! Aruna and Jay welcomed us when we arrived. They were very accommodating to us before and during our stay. The house is very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room listening to the ocean and especially liked sitting on the deck. We had a surprise one morning while on the deck. We saw humpback whales and watched them for nearly an hour! Overall great vacation week!
