Profitez de votre café le matin ou le soir rassemblements sur le pont ou dans le jaccuzzi privé fait par les terrains boisés adjacents. Tin Mill Cottage est une courte promenade à proximité de Lac Majeur pour la pêche.
Tin Mill Cottage est devenu une cabine préférée pour les familles qui cherchent un séjour abordable dans les Black Hills. Les deux chambres avec lits queen chacun et un futon dans le salon avec une cheminée électrique peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 6 personnes. Il ya une salle de bain avec baignoire et douche, buanderie, AC unités murales et de la télévision par câble ainsi que l'accès à Internet sans fil. La cuisine entièrement équipée (lave-vaisselle) et gril à gaz sur le pont aide à garder vos vacances à prix abordable en permettant aux repas à apporter «à la maison». My husband and I had been planning our trip to South Dakota for 3 years and staying at Tin Mill Cottage was like finding a "nugget" of gold in Hill City. The cottage was clean and had every luxury of home. It was nice after a long day of sight seeing to come back to the comforts of Tin Mill. The location was absolutely perfect for our plans - close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer Park and not far away from Rapid City. We had daily morning & sometimes afternoon visits from wild turkey & deer in the yard. We had a wonderful vacation! I would like to add a couple of things about comments I read previous to booking Tin Mill Cottage...there was a complaint about 2 hotels nearby and the train being so close. The hotels were there but did not create any noise and we were still on a hill with our own privacy. Yes, the train ran by a couple of times a day while we were there but never early in the morning or late at night. If we go back to South Dakota, and we would really love to..we will most definitely stay at Tin Mill Cottage.

Excellent location! It was so nice to be able to come “home” after a busy day exploring!! Location was close to the road but with the trees in the back of the home, we were tucked into the woods! Excellent communication throughout our stay as well. A+++

We loved our stay at the Tin Mill Cottage! It's the perfect location above Hill City so you're close to all the tourist attractions! We packed our days full of activities and it was nice having a home to come back to and relax before starting again the next day! The owners were very responsive and messaged just to make sure everything was going well! It has became one of our favorite VRBO's and would be the first one we would look for on future visits and recommend to friends and family! Thanks again!

This cute little house was perfect for 4 of us. 2 rooms and 1 bathroom. We didn't use the kitchen to cook but it appeared to be fully stocked should you need it. We rode the 1880 Train and walked to the station from the house. We could of walked to the main street with the shops and restaurants also but it rained most days… we didn't let that spoil out trip though. Hill City properties were very nice and attentive even sending me a text letting me know that severe weather was in the forecast. We appreciated this! And luckily we didnt get anything other than a thunderstorm. The house close to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse we even made our way to Deadwood and Belle Fourche. Beautiful drives and cute mountain towns.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin exceeded our expectations. We cooked on the grill, our backyard was a forest, and we overlooked the town. It was so peaceful and beautiful, we highly recommend this retreat.

The cabin was as described. Very clean and neat. Location was great. Close enough to walk to downtown Hill City yet not in the craziness of it all. The hostess was great and check in was a breeze! We would defiantly stay again.

We loved our family vacation at the Tin Mill Cottage. It was centrally located for all the Black Hills sites. The cottage was spacious and had everything we could want. The deck was a great place to have our morning coffee and watch the deer play. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was clean and good sized. The location in Hill City was perfectly placed to see all the attractions in the area. The Bennington were kind and easy to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, location, location set between Mount Rushmore ,Crazy Horse and Custer State Park in quaint little Hill City over looking the Steam Railroad., makes this place ideal for exploring the area. The cabin suited our needs 2 adults and a teenager. We saw white tailed deer one evening while drinking on the deck and one morning had wild turkeys on the lawn.
A couple of suggestions I would make is the outdoor light for the BBQ needs to be relocated as once dark you cannot see a thing and maybe some brighter bulbs in the bathroom .
I would fully recommend this property.

This was the perfect place for our family when visiting the Black Hills. It was centrally located and allowed us to visit all the nearby attractions we wanted to see including Badlands and Wind Cave National Parks, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, Mount Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, Spearfish Canyon, Needles Highway and Deadwood.
The cabin is on top of a small hill which allowed us to overlook part of the city, along with the beautiful mountains surrounding Hill City. We also had deer we could watch in the yard on several locations, which was exciting for our kids.
The owners also went above and beyond our expectations. Our family left ear buds in the cabin when we left. The owners were able to mail these to us which we greatly appreciated.
Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with the our stay at this property or the service we received before, during, and after our stay!

Family Trip to Black Hills Area
We had a great time on our vacation to the Black Hills area. The Tin Mill Cottage was the perfect home base. We enjoyed cooking dinners on the grill on the deck.

Dated, by very nice place! Clean, cute, and convenient! Plenty of room for our crewcab pickup with a 16’ trailer to park! Highly recommended by all 4 of us that stayed! Kinda cool watching the 1880 train come through just down the hill. Deer everywhere also.

I highly recommend this property. Central location in the Black Hills for everything you want to do. The property was clean and well furnished. The small touches made life pleasant (labeled light switches, etc.). The hosts are great.

Great location! Easy walking distance to downtown and the grocery store. We loved having a hot tub after a couple of days of hiking and exploring the Black Hills. It would be nice to have more light in the back since we got back when it was just about dark and we grilled out , just some patio lights instead of the spotlight. The decor could be updated but a very comfortable place to call ‘home’ for a couple of days.

Great location for all our activities
We had a great experience at this property! The location was a great central location for all of our excursions to Black Hills fun. My favorite features were the patio looking into the woods (saw a deer one day) and the hot tub. Thanks for a great stay.

This little house was the perfect size for my family of four - including two teenage boys. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s centrally located, and you can get to most of the major attractions in about 20 minutes. In fact, it’s located within walking distance of a market, sub shop and downtown area. Our South Dakota Stay
The property was just like the pictures . We lived it was in walking distance to Hill City, and pretty centrally located for all of our activities. The only bummer we had was that we didnt get to use the hot tub because it was too hot out!!! Our loss.

The house was exactly as described and had air conditioning which was great since it was warmer than normal. Kitchen had many pans for cooking and a nice gas grill. We tried the hot tub one night but the weather was too warm but it would be great for cooler weather. It's private since behind the house and there is a hillside and no roads behind the house.. We saw a deer back there once. The 1880 train goes right by the property so you have a great view of that. It stops running about 730 pm so the whistle wont keep you up at night. Close to the grocery store and easy to get to custer or the black hills. Don't miss the Needles highway or iron mountain road for great views. And we saw buffalo, pronghorn antelope, donkeys, and deer on the wildlife loop in Custer. Overall great location and while not the newest decor, it was very comfortable and had everything you need for a great vacation.
