The penthouse suite was perfect for our kids of 13, 11, 10, and 6. Diamond Beach sells itself with the easy beach access, huge pool, and lazy river. With this room being so close to the elevator, you are close to all the activities you need. Large, spacious room for our family of 6, and a great way to end the summer!

Everything was wonderful! First time to visit, condo was outstanding as well as the hosts! Hosts were easy to communicate with-no issues and we had everything we needed for a beautiful stay. Will definitely come back!

Quick family gathering for some swim time and rest with a gorgeous view . Enjoyed the lazy river and all the pools. Brought our stuff down and got a cabana and was there all day. Very well kept facility

This was our second stay at Vish’s condo at Diamond Beach and it was as great as our first! Vish was great to work with and with prompt responses to anything we needed. The condo is spacious for 8 people (5 adults/3 kids), well equipped and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and it has a beautiful view of the gulf with a nice balcony. My grandkids love the game room and the whole family love the lazy river. The entire pool area is beautiful! We also like that the facility near everything and is located directly on the beach. There’s no need to cross the busy seawall traffic to access the beach with small kids. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but no dangerous roads navigate. We are big fans of Diamond Beach in general and renting from Vish in particular. We plan to book again in the future and highly recommend it!

The condo itself was beautiful and spacious. The resort however was not what we were expecting. When we booked and even in the packet we received giving us our check in information, we were under the impression that there was an indoor and poolside bar for the adults and that there was a slide into the lazy river. None of these things were still in operation. The slide for instance has been out of commission for 3 years, yet is still listed as an amenity.

We had a wonderful stay in Galveston in large part due to the rental of this condo. It was very clean and had great pools and amenities. We would certainly stay here again.

Sadly, this property did not live up to its penthouse standards in size, working amenities, or overall stay. First of all, BE WEARY renting this property. We have rented units at Diamond Beach resort every year for the past 6 years and these property owners blamed us for breaking items within their unit, sent this to a property damage company that charged us hundreds of dollars for these repairs, when they had back to back rentals and had no idea who had actually done the damage and refused to reply back to my message to them on VRBO website, as we inquired about this accusation, clearly stating it was no one in our group that broke these items. When we arrived on site, the maid was still cleaning from the previous guests & when we informed the property owners about several broken items that we noticed upon our arrival (window shades, lamp, etc), they informed us that due to back-to-back stays they couldnt even get into their own property to see or fix these items, clearly indicating that they had no proof or reason to accuse our family of breaking more items. This is SKETCHY! Beyond thse awful accusations they made & not responding to us to discuss, the layout is awful. The sun sets right onto the balcony with extreme heat making it unbearable to go outside & enjoy the outdoor living space. Sweat profusely dripped down if out on the balcony. We missed the pool view that most units had and the shade that offered & they locked all the closets, so no where to hang clothes!

We all had a great time! Everyone had the choice of relaxing or being active! I think we all did a little of both. Would stay here again.

The extra space was well worth it! This was our 5th year at Diamond Beach. The beds were super comfortable! Could use places to hang bathing suits/towels in the guest bath. Loved our trip!

It was more than anything we expected even though we knew it was going to be nice. Everything every step of the way was perfect. I took my son, daughter in law, and 3 grandchildren and they so loved having the vacation. Thank you for the attention to detail. We’ll come again next year.

We enjoyed our stay in Galveston. Good, quiet location. Cold a few days during our trip but plenty to do in the area. The kids enjoyed the game room. The condo was clean and had everything we needed to relax and have fun on our trip.

As always, the condo was really relaxing. I noticed that overall at Diamond Beach and in the condo that things were cleaner and that there had been attention to details. Your condo is worth the extra cost because it's so spacious and relaxing. Security is really good too!

This is our fave condo in Galveston and our second stay here. Big and spacious and the views are amazing. The property is wonderful with so many things to do. The lazy river was a favorite for the kids. We will be back.

Great property with 3 rooms and beautiful views. Never had to leave as too much for kids to explore in one weekend. Had a couple of issues and owner addressed them immediately. However, cleaning service had to be called out for poor cleaning prior to our arrival. These owners deserve better and their renters deserve a better experience when paying as much as we did. We will return next year and hope that you will consider this beautiful property in your search. It is worth it!

Staff overall weren’t friendly. Slide wasn’t open, no working area to shower off after coming in from beach. Lazy river and pool was awesome. Our unit had issues but owner took care of everything promptly and apologetically. Easy access to beach was a big deal. No crazy traffic to cross with family. Overall I’d definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay this week at your beautiful condo. The house had everything we needed and the view was incredible. Our grandchildren are already talking about going back. Looking forward to booking again soon! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

My wife and 4 grandkids stayed here for a few days and it was all that we had hoped for. We all loved the lazy river, the swimming pools and the play room with foosball, shuffleboard and video game machines. Our room was fantastic and the close proximity to all of the restaurants and activities in Galveston gave us plenty of things to do. Would highly recommend!

We had the best experience here! The property was very nice and clean. We enjoyed playing in the pool and lazy river. The beach is a short walk and was not too crowded. The condo had all the comforts of home and was very relaxing!

Everything was perfect. The kids & adults loved the lazy river. The host was very prompt in responding to any questions. All of the staff was very nice. The view was amazing!!!

Pros: Nice building. Lobby is pretty and well-kept. Fitness room has a good amount of equipment. Kids enjoyed the game room (the video games are free to use). Beautiful view from condo. Quick access to a section of the beach which is not very busy. Main pool is huge and resort like. Lazy river is nice. Owners are responsive Cons: 1. The whole place needs a massive deep clean. I was disappointed in the cleanliness. Clearly the dusting is not done on a regular basis. Everything was super dusty. There were also black hairs in all of the drawers and even some in the fridge. We had to do a cleaning before we could unpack. I also found a dead bug in the kitchen cabinet and one very gross dying bug on the kitchen floor. If the place was cleaned properly I think these would’ve been found. Some of the silverware in the drawers was dirty and had to be re-washed. Windows are also very dirty. It kind of killed the view to be looking out dirty windows to see the ocean. 2. Keys/building fobs- they only provide two keys and two key fobs. The keys are what opens the door of the condo and the fobs are needed to get around the property. You need them to get out to the pool and up into the elevator. We had a group of eight with four adults and four tween/teens so we constantly had to make sure groups were staying together so no one was getting locked out or left out of the pool area. It would’ve been much more convenient to have at least 3 or 4 sets of keys/fobs. 3. Pool slide- My kids were disappointed that the slide was not open the whole time we were there. this is obviously not the fault of the owners but I wish they had given us information that the pool slide would not be open this time of year. The weather was very warm, upwards of 90 with humidity and it was over Easter weekend so the place was plenty busy. Other people were asking about it too. The lady at the front desk said that it was “seasonal“. I guess that only means it’s open in the summer. I think that should be better explained and put somewhere in the listing because it shouldn’t be promoted as an amenity if people aren’t going to be able to use it.

We enjoyed the ample space in the condo and building for relaxing and hanging out! Balcony and views are great, but it is windy!

Enjoying the sound of the waves from the balcony turned into our favorite thing about this property. It’s hard to describe but it’s definitely a feature many other Galveston spots can’t offer.

Great stay! My husband & I and our son, daughter-in-law and 3 small grandchildren traveled from Wisconsin to vacation in Galveston and visit additional family living nearby. The condo was extremely comfortable. The first morning we saw a dolphin from the balcony and lots of Pelicans flying past. The balcony patio was also a perfect afternoon spot in the sun to relax. We enjoyed the indoor pool with the children on cool days and the proximity to the beach was great for multiple trips each day when the weather was warm enough. The access to the seawall was also great for stroller walks. The beach and other amenities were never crowded. Our hosts, Kelly & Vish, were very responsive and helpful.

This condo was absolutely amazing! I loved everything about it. The amenities were great and the walk to the beach was so easy! Will stay here again in the future!

Beauty and style and gulf water views. Everything we needed.

We've stayed many times at Diamond Beach in various condos. This unit was particularly much cleaner and larger than the ones facing the pools. It was a great decision to have a different view and especially facing south due to the cold front that blew in. I would definitely book again.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in the condo. The view of ocean was amazing at all times of the day. The porch was great for some wine and watching the waves roll in. Our kids loved the game room and the heated indoor pool. We'll be looking to come back in the spring/summer to take advantage of all the outdoor pools.

We loved our stay…the place was even nicer in person that the pics. Very well appointed, incredible view - breathtaking. Host was SUPER and very responsive. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Excellent view from the penthouse. Wake up and sleep to, as if Heavens have brushed the sky with some fantastic colors. I'm coming back soon with a larger group

The sunsets from the balcony were amazing. Beautifully decorated. Great amenities although the bar was closed since it is off season. The check-in desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Great security measures. My friends and I will be back.
