We had six adults, a toddler and two pups over the long holiday weekend. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the house, the area, and all of the amenities. We’re a big foodie group and loved cooking and baking in the kitchen. The house was comfortable and had more than enough room for all of us. We look forward to coming back to this house again!

Susan was a great host, so responsive and with an amazing property. We had a great week in her beautiful and nicely equipped home. My six year old told me she was going to miss the house on our final day which is all we needed to hear!

We had a fantastic one week stay in this mountainside gem! Susan was equally wonderful— cared about our stay and responded quickly to our questions prior to and during our visit. Her lovely home allowed our party of 7 (ages 25 to 77) to have a relaxing and fun stay. Plenty of space and privacy, comfortable beds and a more than stocked kitchen! Truly a chef’s kitchen with everything you could imagine. We enjoyed playing ping pong on a rainy day and making s’mores around the fire pit. The location of the home is majestic and secluded with a short drive to the center of Stowe and Waterbury. A 30 minute drive will get you to Burlington. Truly a rare find and we look forward to a return stay!

Beautiful house with plenty of room to relax and Amazing views. Highly recommend staying relatively close drive to attractions with a fantastic Kitchen. Road coming up to house is unpaved so having awd like the host recommends makes for a great stay .

Home was incredible and perfect for our week in Stowe - about 15 mins from downtown.
Susan was very nice, provided a ton of info on local stuff to do, and responded extremely quickly to any questions we had.
House itself was amazing and very clean. Loved the campfire setup outside and the views from the top floor of Mt Mansfield were incredible. Home was very well stocked and had everything we needed to cook/grill.

We had a wonderful stay in Stowe. The house has incredible views, lots of space (and different sleeping areas- nice for privacy and quiet!) and a well stocked kitchen with many items we now want to own! Susan was very communicative and responsive, especially around needs of our small children. As advised by the Susan, the driveway is steep (thus the incredible views) and an SUV/good tires a must in the winter months, and there was an efficient team of plows/shovelers to keep things clear and they came frequently. Quick drive to town, and owner’s recommendations regarding restaurants and activities were spot on. Lovely home, trip and views.

Our family, 8 adults and 1 toddler, stayed for a week in mid-October. The property is very well equipped to handle a group. The kitchen is extremely well supplied, and the huge dining table was a big plus for meals. The in-law suite on the lower level was ideal for the couple with a toddler. There was plenty of space for both indoor and outdoor socializing. While secluded with plenty of privacy and spectacular views, it also just short drive to town.

Winter Wonderland
This winter vacation was one of our family's best! From the moment we booked the property until we left everything was perfect. The hostess was ALWAYS available to answer any questions. Everything for checkin and checkout was well thought out.

STOWE TRIP
The house was beautiful and well equipped. Our trip was a celebration of my 75th birthday and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children. We enjoyed the fire pit, hanging out on the balcony and watching the stars, and had a fierce ping pong tournament! The house looked just like the pictures, and it's great to be in the woods, but near town.
I highly recommend this house for a family get together!

Stowe Family Vacation
This was the perfect home and destination for our family getaway! The highlights:
- gorgeous home, even better than the pictures! large dining room table and family room (easily fit to a dozen or more).
- stocked is AMAZINGLY well stock for cooking, plus an outdoor grille, a fire pit out back, a ping-pong table, TV ....
- lovely outdoor deck (we did morning yoga there, and sat out on the rocking chairs in the afternoon)
- you can walk just a few minutes to the Pinnacle Meadows trail (one of the best hikes we have ever been on!)
- quick drive to the town (~10 minutes)
- hosts were great ... very pleasant and informative.
- new heat pump/air conditioning on the main level.

We especially loved the heated garage and ski roomThere’s a great hiking trail at the top of the neighborhood with amazing viewzThe only downside is that its 10 miles from the slopes at Stowe, but actually 25 mins or so bc the house is located at the top of a very steep road. My girlfriends and I had a great week at this house. Was so nice to have a spacious and relaxing house to go hang out at with friends during Covid. The views of Stowe are amazing! Susan was so nice and super responsive. Everything was great and I would definitely recommend this house! Would be good for families too.

Mountain Retreat
A great house to stay in with family or friends. Beautiful views, very well equiped kitchen and the owner is extremely responsive and helpful. Excellent hiking (even in Winter) practically right out the front door. A very nice place to stay and get away from it all.

Wonderful escape to Vermont
We loved our stay at Upper Pinnacle House. The surroundings were gorgeous and the house was very well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the heated garage and spacious boot room (with gear dryer)—it made skiing that much easier! We also appreciated the very well stocked kitchen. Susan was a very responsive host and her communication was excellent.

I have been renting homes in Vermont for almost 20 years. This was simply one of the best homes we have ever rented. It was super clean, lots of space, well maintained, well stocked, and beautiful. I cant think of a single flaw. To top it off, Susan was a gracious host and great communicator. She made sure to send us plenty of prep documents for the home and reached out on the first day to ensure we found everything and were comfortable.
We had 2 families with multiple kids in the house. There was plenty of space for the kids to play and the parents to relax. When the snow came, they even shoveled a path to the outdoor fire pit and the back deck where the grill was. It's the little things that go a long way to ensure you are comfortable.
Again, simple put, one of the best places I have ever rented. Just book it.

Thanksgiving family getaway
What a wonderful home for our annual family thanksgiving! Everything was perfect! We all agreed it was definitely the best kitchen we’ve ever had with every tool, pan, or dish we could need. The “kids” loved their hang out space especially the ping pong table. The chess table was also a big hit. I loved sitting by the fireplace. The house was plenty big for our group of 10. It felt very spacious but was also very warm and cozy. The house had everything we needed and then some. Stowe is beautiful and the house is in a great location up high surrounded by woods with great views.

Gorgeous tree house in the woods
The house is both cozy and spacious -- and a wonderful place to gather as a family. We lived on the second level deck, surrounded by beautiful trees. In the evenings, under the stars, we build fires in the stone pit in the side yard. From the bedroom on the 3rd floor, you get a beautiful silhouette of the mountains in the distance. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked with high end appliances and spices and most everything you'd need if you love to cook. And it's just a short drive into Stowe, where you can buy fabulous ingredients at The Butchery and Commodities. We had a very happy stay.

Fun ski vacation
Our group ( 5 adults, 5 tweens/teenagers) just enjoyed a very fun ski week at this house. Beautiful house with great views. Clean and well stocked. Owner was very responsive to minor issues we experienced. Highly recommend!
