This was our first time at Colonial Beach. We had a great time and this cottage was perfect for us. We will be back!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the Weems cottage. It was only a block from my sister's house, and two blocks from the beach - very convenient. The house was very clean, the neighborhood was quiet, and communication with Cindy was great. We hope to stay again some time.

Wonderful location, must bring own coffee pods and condiments. Bare essentials but all in working order. Would stay again for the price and location.

We loved this cozy cottage! Everything was perfect and the decorations were charming. The Recliner was a big plus, wish there were two! I also loved the teabags provided since we had some rainy days! We surely would rent again!!

Fit the bill perfectly for 4 adults. Location super. Cottage was very clean. Loved that there were 2 bathrooms. Bed comfortable. Colonial beach was a very quiet laid back beach town. Felt very safe.

Met a buddy from Vietnam and his family and friends for a long weekend in Colonial Beach. We were only a few blocks away from all of the activities. The property was very clean and comfortable and perfect for our needs. This was our first VRBO stay and were very pleased. Thanks.

Loved our stay at this house! Perfect location to everything - beach, shops, restaurants were all walkable. House was clean, organized, and well-stocked. Colonial Beach itself is adorable and this house is in the right location to take advantage of what this lovely, historic town has to offer.

Cute house, all that we needed for the week. Very clean, plenty of space for our family of four, and convenient parking right by the front door. Nice to have two full bathrooms and the washer/dryer was key. Owner quickly responded with any questions. Street was very quiet. Could walk to beach, we drove and parked. Our favorite beach was at the southern most tip, fewest people. Overall our stay was great, highly recommend this house for a quiet beach getaway!

This place is great - Location is 2.5 blocks from the beach - quite neighbor, both bathrooms are great - Everything you need is under 1/2 mile away. Clean , Cool, Spacious - just some little things the property manager can address (these are all minor little things) 1. Some sorta table next the the charcoal grill would be very helpful. 2. Paper towels , trash bags and dish soap. there were 2 trash bags , 1 roll of paper towels and about 1 tbls of dish soap. these are things that are needed more of - all should be stocked in the house. Like I said - little things I highly recommend staying at this location !!

This is a nice property and is exactly as described. It’s a bonus having two bathrooms (with two bedrooms). We never needed to contact the host because everything went very smoothly with our stay.

Easy walk to beach, pier. Lovely neighborhood on quiet street. Beautiful sunsets looking toward marina. Cozy, relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was very clean and close to the beach. Really enjoyed going to dockside bar and grill and eating at Wilkerson's Seafood restarant. It's located in a very friendly neiborhood. We would come back again. The booking agent was very helpful and checking in was very easy.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a beautiful and clean home for our vacation. Throughout the trip, the location and the friendliness of the owner and community was outstanding. Overall we had a great vacation and celebration of my 50th birthday.

Good location between the river and Monroe Bay. Easily parked two SUV's and a 6-seater golf cart on the property. Updated interior and comfortable bedding. Plenty of room for 4 adults.

This was our first visit to Colonial Beach and this property was the perfect place for our family to be together and enjoy our Labor Day holiday. We enjoyed everything about this place, from the location (just 2 short blocks to the water), to all the amenities in the house. Thank you for such a clean and well stocked vacation home. We can’t wait for a return visit.

This cute home was just right for my husband and self. It was a quick walk to the river beach and shops. We rarely used our car. We would rent this home again.

We had a fabulous time on our first girls trip...just a couple of days to unwind in Colonial Beach. My family and I stayed here last year and loved it so that is why we chose it for our trip this year. Everything you could want in a location just a short walk from the beach. Owner was very responsive and positive to our requests. Would definetely recommend staying here!

Had a wonderful time

This was the second time I've stayed at this house. We had a great time again. Fishing off the pier was an addition this year. It's a quick walk to the beach and pier.

Great and comfortable cottage, perfect for our family of 4. Our boys loved the beach and activities nearby including an antique car show on father's day. Great location, even though you don't need it, we rented a golf cart to move around, so much fun! The house was very clean and spacious. It was equipped with everything you need, only 2 blocks from the beach. Cindy was very kind and responsive, we'll definitely be back!

It was the perfect place to have a quiet weekend. My husband and I never have time to go away but since it was our 40th Anniversary we made it happen. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. I would love to stay again.

Small cozy house within a 2 minute walk from the beach. Kitchen cabinets were fully stocked for our stay, with every convenience of home including coffee makers, laundry facilities, etc. Plenty of TVs for the adults, and Wi-Fi for the kids! Only inconveniences were minor maintenance issues such as à loose toilet paper holder, and changing a battery in the smoke detector....... Just like at home :-)
