Wonderful little cabin getaway! As advertised, very clean and tastefully decorated. We visited with the cows and dogs on the neighboring property. Enjoyed antique shopping in Fort Payne and the beauty of De Soto State Park. Such a relaxing stay!

My husband and I do not get to go away very often without of kids. Booked this place bc it was close to Desoto Falls & bc of the hot tub. Owners replied to my needs and questions right away. It was easy to get firewood around there. One thing to be aware of though, the bed is FIRM. Another thing, which is to be expected of a small cabin, my husband is over 6ft tall he had a hard time with the bed and the shower. Saturday night I was outside by myself tending to the fire and I kept hearing a coyote howl. But again that is to be expected out in the woods. You are in a cow field and if you have a bigger truck it is hard to get out of parking spot, but it was fine. Overall it had everything we needed for a well deserved getaway.

The TV did not work. I called about it but they did not come and fix it. Not a big problem. Still enjoyed it. Probably will not stay there again.

This property was just what we thought it would be. Perfect. Great view and private. The firepit was perfect for campfire at night. Clean inside and out. Small shower but the water was hot. Sink in kitchen was small but I wasn't cooking 5 course meals so it was ok. The visiting dogs are a added bonus. Rambler (we renamed him Goofy) was our entertainment. Many thanx for making our getaway a great experience. We will be back😍

I needed a solo recharge and this cabin delivered. Cozy, clean, and comfortable. It sits on a beautiful little meadow with a few trees and some friendly cows. I will definitely be back!

Just the right size for us two celebrating our 17th anniversary. Very clean, hot tub was wonderful. Only suggestion is a lamp at bedside per the hubby. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you:)

I was looking for a low-key place to relax and use as a base for daily sight-seeing and exploration. This was a great choice, I was quite pleased with the accomodation.

We had a great time. Cabin was just right for us. Some of the electric outlets did not work but we were alright with that. We just used the ones that worked in the kitchen. Enjoyed meeting dog next door!! Will definitely stay again!

The location is really nice. Nice cabin. Quiet. Peaceful and even the neighbor dog who is extremely friendly will come hang out with you. Would definitely visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at Rooster's Rest this past weekend. We had one small problem that was taken care of promptly and smoothly. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a couple. It was secluded and serene.

I stayed at the cabin with my husband for the weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean, the hot tub was clean and ready to get in, I especially enjoyed the screened-in porch to keep the bugs out. There was a friendly little dog from the farm next-door that would come over every now to say hello. One tiny complaint I would have is there is no closet or any way to hang clothes. Its limited on space, but if you’re just looking for a cozy getaway, I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Fantastic view and very cozy. If you want somewhere quiet this is the place for you. There is a lot to do in the area especially if you like hiking. Property manager was very responsive.

This place is everything it says. Just peaceful, private and personal time with your love one. We loved the hot tube at night and sitting on the swing drinking our coffee in the morning! We will definitely be booking again!!!!

It was a beautiful, comfortable little cabin with a scenic view, plenty of privacy and everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub smelled and wasn't as clean as promised but otherwise, it was an awesome stay. I would definetly stay again.
